Answer: they seem more for saltwater species. but i catch redsnapper on skipjack all the time.

Answer: i believe it is a Lead alloy. Package says it contains lead they are small and heavy. Deadly on kings, Bonito, blackfin, and Blue runners.

Bought three different sizes/weights of this replica lure. Have not fished it yet to see if it will catch fish.
Con: Dull finish, weak hooks, and split rings - all can be upgraded.

Threw a few casts from the jetty and at the end of day, got curious as what is underneath the zinc coating/plating. I shared the pictures with the manufacturer and they couldn't tell me what it was.

Tried the 2oz, The body was nice, really liked that they had a split ring included which some heavy spoons skip out on. The downsize is the hooks, not nearly large or heavy enough for a 2oz spoon. Decent purchase if you don't mind switching to bigger trebels or use a single hook.

I purchased the set of four Last Cast 1oz. silver chrome casting spoons as an alternative to my KastMaster spoon that I lost on a huge fish, and to say I am disappointed is an understatement. After the first use, the spray paint on the lure is almost completely gone (I would think that a chrome dip would be used and not cheap chrome-color spray paint) and one of the treble hooks broke after I caught my second fish (fish were under two pounds). I am using this for fishing off the beach in Florida and my previous KastMaster spoon (which costs more but is worth it), I caught well over 30 fish and it lasted over a month before I lost it on the one that got away!

I cannot understand why the great reviews for this inferior product but can only recommend that you save your money and buy the real thing...

Got the 2oz. They look great but the hooks seem out of place. They're too small. Treble hooks that go to a small freshwater lure. Not a big two ounce. Be ready to change the hooks. Haven't used them yet. I'll let you know if they rust out.

BSUNG : Great value for basically Kastmasters

I lost a $10 Kastmaster and was feeling iffy about using them again until I saw this deal on Amazon. I decided to give them a try and they are great! They cast well and have a decent action. I've caught some bass and some mackerel on these. Great value!

On Friday, 2/22/19 a buddy and I used my new Silver spoons which I had received on Sunday, 2/17/19 in our efforts to fish on Lake Jocassee located in northwestern corner of South Carolina. In pouring rain we caught forty, yes forty Brown Trout over a three and a half hour period. Lures are sleek and extremely effective. Great value for the money. Purchased a larger size and the trout loved it too. Caught sixteen brown trout on 3/8/19 same lake.
