Do these things float with a hook in them? I bought some and they don't float even without a hook.

Answer: When it is hooked properly the worm will sink and when it hits the bottom the tail will start to float a little bit. This is to attract fish.

can you shakey head with it

Answer: yes, absolutely! This is probably THE best style of worm to use with the shakey head technique. I personally use the Spot Remover jig head for shakey head fishing.

Answer: No, not with a hook. Very slow sink rate though.

Answer: Flat bottom rocks it doesn't matter. They catch fish anywhere

Answer: No idea never measured. I don’t really care how long they are, they cast well and the fish love them. That’s all that matters to me.

Answer: It is a Zoom trick worm. They all all in that same length range. It’s a soft plastic bait. They work really well and can be used/rigged many different way. Bass of all size eat them.

Answer: 4/0 or 5/0 EWG

What size hook do you have to use to keep them a float?

Answer: These dont float. But you can take a syringe full of air and make small bubbles inside of them to make them float. I do this when using a sheaky head rig. I just make a small bubble in the tail. In my opinion it really seals the presentation.

Could you use this as a chatterbait trailer

Answer: I WOULD SAY YOU COULD, BUT WITH ONLY PART BOF THE WORM AS IT IS 8 INCHES LONG.

how much pound line should i use for texas rigged?

Answer: Depends on what kind of reel? And what kind of weight? What size of fish are in your area? I have comfortably fished these weightless on 10 pound test. But if I were to be fishing it with a weight I’d probably go around 14 pound

Answer: Depends on how your fishing. I fish weightless with an EWG hook and 8 lb test with a spinning rod.

These grape zoom worms are almost impossible to find in my area and I was so pleased to have found these available for order!! Quality is great as always and I couldn't be happier.They work so well in the waters of Arkansas that no one has them in stock anywhere. These worms are very life-like and graceful while in motion under water. They are very durable too! If kept moist and stored properly they last forever!! The price could of been a little better in my opinion but well worth the tiny extra especially delivered right to my tackle box. When my buddy pulled a pack of these out our first trip together a few years back, I laughed at him. Now, this is my go-to fail-safe bait. When none of my new and shiny baits are working, I just throw this on texas rigged with no weight and almost always get a reaction strike from something, no matter what time of year.
