Kris T : Well made, but requires a fast retrieval.

Panther Martin makes a great selection of quality lures, however, due to the design of this spinner, it require a fast retrieval to get effective spin. Other spinners, such as Rooster Tails, do not require such fast motion, giving them an advantage when it comes to available "strike time". These are effective, but a slower retrieval is always better for any spinner. I wish I could say otherwise, but there are more effective spinners, at better prices.

I ordered 4 and lost them all within a month. Can’t even count how many fish I caught on them. The only negative of Panther Martin is the cheap thin wire they use. Every fish I catch bends the wire. It would be nice if it were easier to find an exact copy. Many of the Chinese spinners are made with better wire.
