Friendly to bait; friendly to tanks. This minnow net features a molded polyethylene net guard that eliminates abrasion when scraped against the inside of bait tanks. Nylon netting is soft to avoid bait stress or injuries. Accidentally drop it in the tank, and the handle will float!

how long is the handle?

Answer: The handle is 6 1/2" . The net is 4 1/2" long and about 3"wide.

Answer: end to net base about six inches the handle 4 inches

Answer: It is about 4" long at the float and maybe another 3" of wire. This little net is absolutely great.

Is it stainless steel?

Answer: It's not stainless steel. It's made out of a soft wire material. I never usted again after the first time because it broke.

These were MUCH smaller than I realized. We bought them for our kids to play in the river, but they are the size you'd need to clean a small fish bowl. Given the price I'm sure that's on point for the size.

The handel does float and it is made well , very durable . The net works . I do not know how long it will last . Made in China . That is all I can say for it but is works and for the monet it can not be beat .

I bought two and took them to the river banks to scoop bait. Since the nettings have no protective cover around the metal rings, the nets disintegrated after about five minutes of use. These are a definite skip.

I just bought this June 9th. It’s small I was ok with that but the net is disintegrating. Not sure what the material is, but it should last longer than 60 days. It’s not kept in the water 24/7. From what we have experienced if I left it in the water, I am afraid it would not have lasted 30 days.
Don’t waste your money. This started rusting within 1 month. The net is now useless.

Picked this up in conjunction with the Frabill 4825 Insulated Bait Bucket. The net does float should you drop it in the lake and is nice to dig around the minnow bucket.

Tip: Take a snap clip hook (carabiner) and use it to attach the net to the bucket. Keeps it from wandering off and is quick to remove and use!

I bought these for the toddlers to use in the creek to catch crayfish and minnows. They work very well. The float on them is perfect to find them quickly when they are dropped. Some of the older ones we had got lost just sinking to the bottom or dropping them off the dock.

While the floating handle worked great, the cheap netting tore away from the loop and the loop rusted within a couple weeks. Very disappointed with this lack of quality from Frabill.
