Could i cut these to fit my nutrichef dehydrator? i cant find any reusable fruit leather trays that fit my nutrichef, so i figured i could cut one to
Answer: Yes you can cut sheets to size that will fit your trays

Answer: Some mats have a fiberglass mat encased by the outer coating cutting the mat can expose those fibers, that may be a concern and you may want to contact the seller prior to purchase.

How durable are these? Anyone had them for very long?
Answer: I love the durability of Homey dehydrator sheets; having them about six months.
Answer: I've had mine for a year and use a lot. I had to cut to fit ,,,love them. I hand wash when needed, they dry nicely.

Answer: I have had these in my Excalibur dehydrator to as high as it goes and have had no problems. Easy use, easy clean, love them. I’ve also trimmed them easily to fit a smaller unit.
Answer: I have used them up to the maximum setting for my dehydrator 158 degrees with no problems.
Q:
Can you bake macarons on this?
Answer: Don't know why not. The description says they can be used for baking. I'm not sure what is different about baking macarons from other cookies, etc. so I couldn't say for sure. They are non-stick Teflon and work with the Dehydrator just fine and some of the stuff I've dehydrated is very sticky.
Answer: You would be better off getting Teflon baking sheet liners or using parchment paper.
Answer: No. It's for a dehydrator.
Q:
Can these sheets be used to make jerky?
Answer: I have made jerky with these sheets. I was concerned about clean-up with the trays, so used the sheets which cleaned very easy. The jerky turned out fine.
Answer: Yes. I have used them to make beef jerky. They clean up pretty easily with soap and water afterwards.
Answer: I've found it best to flip the jerky about 3/4 way through because they don't breathe and the bottom looks pale. Cleanup is just a hot soak in the sink and dry. Easy.
Q:
Are these seen through sheet? I would like to use with circle patten for macaron.
Answer: I bought the sheets as non stick bottom sheets for the dehydrator pans id nt know if they would be suitable for your use.
Answer: These were purchased for a dehydrator for me. They were a little bigger than I needed so I used scissors to trim them. I would assume they would be able to be shaped for other uses.
Q:
My thermador oven comes with a dehydrator function. can i use these sheets in the oven? my max size is 15" x 20".
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: I don't know why you couldnt. I have other silpat sheets I use to bake with.
Answer: With your max size being 15x20, you should be able to use them. They work great in our dehydrator.
Q:
do these sheets add more time to drying
Answer: I haven’t noticed any longer drying time! These are great
Answer: I’m not sure as I hadn’t done much dehydrating before. I don’t think so though. It has more to do with temperature and humidity. I used a few when I made ground meat jerky and they retained the grease. Also have used with fruit.
Answer: No, they do not.
Q:
After using for 1st time to dry strawberries, can see a shiny residue on 1 side of the berries in same pattern as sheet. Can anyone explain what this?
Answer: i use these and have not had that problem sorry
Q:
Were these sheets made after 2013?
Answer: Yes
Q:
I was thinking about using these to make jerky, i notice there is no holes in them, are they good for keeping stuff from dripping down on the bottom?
Answer: Yes, they keep stuff from dripping. I have used them for jerky and they work great and are re-usable and very easy to clean. I am very glad I purchased them!
Answer: Nothing drips through. They are teflon sheets. Also great for home made fruit roll ups. I use them for drying spices and onions also or anything that might be messy in the dehydrator.
Answer: Yes, nothing will seep through these.
Q:
Can i use these for the grill?
Answer: I don't think so. I would expect them to burn an a grill.
Answer: No - they are plastic and they will melt! They are for a food dehydrator.
Answer: NO NO. They are not for high temperatures.
Q:
Hi seller! what is the maximum f and c temperature that these sheets are oven safe for use please?
Answer: These dehydrator sheets are manufactured to be oven safe 425 F but I wouldn't go over 400 F or 204 C. Also, don't ever place them directly on the heating elements. They will melt as the heating elements get much hotter than 425 F.
Q:
Are these sheets BPA free?
Answer: Yes. These dehydrator sheets are BPA free.
Q:
Do these have a texture? Meaning, are they 100% smooth on both sides with no micro squares or patterns? Using for Stereolithography.
Answer: I have bought these and there is no micro squares or patterns. I am on my second box have 3 9 shelve dryers. They clean well and I use them over and over. Hopes this helps
Answer: These sheets do have a texture. There are micro squares.
Answer: These are not 100% smooth. They have a micro texture.
Answer: No steno, pattern, etc on mine. They are about as smooth as a silk sheet, but not as smooth as plastic wrap.
Answer: They have a linen type texture on both sides. they have slick surface, though
Answer: Nearly smooth of the virtually no texture on either side.
Answer: Mine have texture on one side
Q:
Can someone tell me how these teflon sheets compare to using silicone sheets?
Answer: I can tell you that they work well. They look like they would breathe but they don't. I'm using them right now and have been happy with the way they clean up.
Q:
Can you use these for normal beef jerky? Can the air get around enough? I usually use 5 trays. Thanks.
Answer: I have done all 9 trays and everything turned out great. You need to pause everything about half way through and pat all the shelves down with paper towels so that a large amount of fat does not collect on the bottom. The sheets should be aggressively cleaned after use. I also used the sheets for fruit roll ups. The kids loved them.
Answer: They work jerky as well as fruit leather. Air circulation isn't a problem. I rotate my trays during the process also
Answer: These are more for fruit leathers and liquids. I think you should use mesh for jerky
Answer: It might take longer but it should work.
Answer: Yes. That is not an issue.
Q:
will these work in an oven that has a dehydrate setting?
Answer: I'm assuming they will, but I don't know the max temp that they can take. The max temp I've used them was 145F.
Answer: I don't see why they wouldn't
Q:
not really a question but teflon is a human carcinogen like hello ?
Answer: And so are soooooo many other things we use in modern-day life, Nicholas. Gotta choose the ones you're willing to deal with, whether slow-grade effect or accelerated with regards to harming your body's health. Sometimes I alternate with parchment paper (non-bleached, when available where I shop). What I love about these sheets is they're super easy to clean (just water since I hardly use oil) and then they store well rolled up. Bottom line: choose everything in moderation to play it safe.
Answer: A dehydrator won't get to a high heat in order for the coating to begin to peel or flake. My dehydrator only goes to 159 degrees.
Q:
what are these made out of?
Answer: They are made of teflon
Q:
So these are only for square shaped dehydrators?
Answer: You could cut them to fit anything.
Q:
The descrition mentions that they can be used for baking. Are they really oven safe?
Answer: Yes they are oven safe.
Answer: They're meant for a food dehydrator only low temps oven would likely be a fire hazard
Answer: I bought them to go with a dehydrator, which does not go over 175 degrees. These would not be a cheaper alternative for silicone.
Q:
How thick are these?
Answer: These dehydrator sheets are 0.1MM thick. They are a little thinner than 2 sheets of printing paper glued together.
Answer: Couldn't give you an actual measurement, but about as thick as a piece of heavy weight paper - although they are a totally different texture, more like a coated pliable fabric. Pretty durable.
Answer: They are thin sheets.
Q:
where are they made?
Answer: the package says made in China
Q:
Could I use this in an air-fryer that goes up to 400 degrees?
Answer: I don't know specifically, but suspect that at 400 deg they would give off vapors that would likely not be good.
Q:
Are these mat perforated and if so what size are the holes?
Answer: There are not visible holes, although it has a pattern suggesting micro perforations. They work very well and are easy to wipe off.
Answer: No they are not perforated they are a smooth and thin sheet.
Answer: They have little tiny holes which is why I wanted them. I dry a lot of diced onions, peppers and hash brown potatoes. Hope this helps.
Answer: The mats are not perforated but rather are nonstick, almost like nonstick parchment paper.
Answer: No they are not perforated
Answer: No, they are smooth.
Answer: No
Q:
Can i use Parchment paper?
Answer: I don't know why not. Since you can wash these and reuse them, it makes them environmentally friendly.
Q:
Do you have to use these with an Excalibur dehydrator or is it just a "suggestion"?
Answer: it is designed for the Excalibur dehydrator but you can cut it up to fit other dehydrator if you do not have an Excalibur dehydrator
Answer: The sheets fit perfectly on the food dryer so I would assume it was specifically made for this purpose. It has no edges and flimsy so it would be hard to contain the fruit. I would also be concerned if you used it using different drying methods such as in the oven. I have had my food dryer for many years and find it very useful and efficient.
Answer: It must be a suggestion because I use them and I don't have an rccalibur
Q:
If anyone has cut & successfully used these in the Nesco Gardenmaster 1018A, I'd appreciate your input. Thx!
Answer: I have both cut size and used these. They easy to cut and very flexible,so it makes it easy to remove anything that sticks.they wash easily as well. My dehydrated only goes to 158 degrees so I don't know how they would do at higher temps
Answer: Sorry, only used there in my dehydrator, and they worked great there.
Q:

Q:
can i dehydrate eggs with these
Answer: yes you can.
Q:
What is "solid mesh"? Is it solid or is it slightly perforated to allow airflow through?
Answer: It's solid so lays on top of the mesh screens. These are made more for the box type dehydrators. Not the round ones that have the heater in the top and fan that blows it downward.
Answer: It’s like a bumpy, thin silicone. Seems solid to me. I’ve dehydrated leftovers and fruit and they have worked great. These are a little smaller than my racks so that probably helps with the air flow. Makes clean up super easy.
Q:
can they be used in the freezer?
Answer: Hi! I assume you'd be able to use them in the freezer, but I've never tried. Sorry!
Answer: I haven't tried. I don't see why not
Q:
The sheets I have are too porous for crafting; inks and thin glue seep through. Would you describe these as impenetrable when used with liquids?
Answer: In my experience no liquids have gone through the sheets. I have not had any staining of the sheets either.
Q:
Are they BPA free?
Answer: Haven't fired up the machine but feel good about its potential. Many positives from other purchasers. It should be a lot better then my 10 year old Ronco
Product reviews of Homey 10-Pack Flexible Reusable and Resizable Non Stick Teflon Food Dehydrator Sheets, 14x14-Inches
Dr. R. King : These sheets are great
I love these sheets. They hold up well to a lot of use, clean up easily, and are flexible enough to fold in order to pour dried foods into jars directly.
john d carlson : good product
good product, fit Excaliber well, clean up easily.
Betty Miller : Poor quality if not dangerous
The plastic or its smell must leach into the food being dehydrated. We had plastic tasting jerky and fruit slices to throw away before we gave up and threw away the plastic sheets. Amazon should not carry these much less push them with the dehydrators.
W. Bailie : Awesome product. I know it was made for food ...
Awesome product. I know it was made for food dryers but this is so great for artists. Ink, paint, glue wipes right off of this slick surfaced Teflon sheet. Great pricing too.
maggiesmama : Great for using in my dehydrator!
My friend gave me a few sheets of this to use in my dehydrator. I liked them so much I ordered more so I could put it on all the trays. They work great and I might try cutting a few down to the common size I use for small baking pans so I can stop using so much foil. Thanks for a great product!
Bryson : Good
Thin, easily creased, but very sturdy.
Forever Curious : Easier than trimming parchment paper to fit the trays.
These liners make using my dehydrators so much easier, and less exasperating, than when I had to trim parchment paper to line the trays. I usually had excess paper that had to be tossed and, therefore, was wasted. I hate waste, of any sort.
I'm equally grateful that the cost of the liners was more reasonable than I had expected. It makes little sense to try to save money by using a dehydrator and then to lose that savings when purchasing items to facilitate their use.
Kathleen Harpster : Good buy
Think they are a good price for ten sheets. Of course they don’t compare to the Excalibur’s sheets but you don’t always need the tough Excalibur’s ones. These will tare fairly easily but over all a good buy
Radioman : Cheaper than Excalibur version but work better
These were way less expensive than the ones I bought from Excalibur and they actually works better because they had a little texture to them. I used them to dehydrate shrimp and they cleaned right up afterwards.
E.R. : Well made product.
Surprised by the quality.
Half of Twosome : THRILLED TO DEATH WITH THESE SHEETS
If you have a dehydrator and do not have these sheets, do not hesitate to get them ordered. I've been dehydrating for over 40 years and have fought getting the trays clean every time I use them. I have even taken them to the car wash. Seriously! I am thrilled to be able to make fruit leather again! As soon as I finish with the beef jerky I have going right now. They clean up incredibly easy and to dry put back on the trays in the dehydrator and turn it on for just a bit. I'm using a very old dehydrator...must have been better quality than I thought to be still working. I had to trim the sheets a bit to fit my trays, but if you can read a tape measure and draw a straight line using a ruler or yard stick, it was easy peasy. I think the price is
If you own a food dehydrator, and use it, and do not have these non-stick sheets, you are doing too much work! I've been dehydrating for over 40 years and fighting getting the trays clean to the point of giving up several times over the years. I have even taken them to the car wash hoping to get off the gunk. Seriously! Mine is a very old dehydrator so these sheets did not fit therefore needed to be trimmed. If you can read a measuring tape and draw a straight line with a ruler or yard stick the job is easy peasy. I was blown away at how easy they were to clean...just a little soapy water...rinse...and dry on your trays in the dehydrator. I am so excited to be able to make fruit leather. That's next on my list as soon as my beef jerky is finished. In my opinion, these are worth more money than I paid.
Amy : Good quality, but one sheet had a giant hole in the middle
The quality of these reusable sheets is great and I've used them already to make fruit leather in my Excalibur dehydrator. Unfortunately, when I opened up the pack of 10 sheets one of them had a hole right in the middle of it, about the size of an outstretched hand. Obviously, that makes it unusable.
Amazon Customer : Love my dehydrated
Love my dehydrater, (9 shelves, front face loader for $105.00) so easy to load, check and unload or even to change time and temperatures during cycles. I have the 9 shelves. Making fruit leathers I recommend buying the silicon liner sheets. The dried fruit peals off easy. A MUST buy.
Nita Kinney : Great product
This is a great product to use in dehydrators. Easy to cut to fit my unusual size trays, very easy to clean, never have to use spray to make them peel off. They are great and a generous size!
michelle chase : love these sheets
I was going to order the ones that went to my machine, but it would have cost over 100 dollars. um no thank you. I found these and they fit perfect and work awesome.
So glad I took a chance of these.
Radioman : Cheaper than Excalibur version but work better
These were way less expensive than the ones I bought from Excalibur and they actually works better because they had a little texture to them. I used them to dehydrate shrimp and they cleaned right up afterwards.
Tammy : The sheets work great and the quality is awesome!
I decided after all these years to purchase a food dehydrator. My chihuahua loves jerky. She’s 11 now and I let her have it. It cost so much at the store. I’ll make my own, thinking that to myself. I also have a six year old grandson. Thinking healthy is better. As I was doing my research I kept reading how hard it is to clean the machine without the sheets. More research on sheets. I looked for awhile and stumbled on these sheets. Cheaper and reusable, I think yes. Came fast and I love them. Thank you and your shop! I’m enjoying them. I just finished my batch of jerky this afternoon. I’ll write later and let you know about the clean up. Smiling “GG”

Sunny Side Up : These have proven to be an excellent investment; it has made dehydrating fruit rolls so ...
These have proven to be an excellent investment; it has made dehydrating fruit rolls so much easier than laying out parchment paper or plastic wrap. The fruit pulls off easily, the sheets work perfectly and are easy to rinse off after use.
E. Sims : Roll Up Magic
The dehydrator squares can be cut to any size easily. I use my dehydrator to dry fruits and make fruit leather/ roll ups which can be messy and these tray protectors keep the puree from dripping through. Easy clean up also. I take fruit off tray and clean the sheets right on my round tray.
C2 : Perfect for any dehydrator
I purchased these for my mini dehydrator that I use for my smaller orders of sugar cookies. The nice thing about them is not only how easily they clean up, but the fact that you can cut them to fit whatever size of dehydrator that you have (up to the 14" x14" sizes). It protects the racks below by limiting liquids from dripping down. Because these are teflon coated, they clean up so easily. I cut them with my rotary blade and they fit perfectly inside of my small dehydrator. THey also fit my Excalibur full size dehydrator. I am very happy with this purchase.
Kindle Customer : Tough, Slippery, and Thin
I have used them to dehydrate nuts, and yogart so far. I dehydrate yogurt like fruit leather, and it slipped right off. It hasn't stained yet either, they seem tough. They were thin and flexible enough to be in a pie plate filled with undripped yogurt. Very happy with my purchase, they were exactly what I was looking for.
Scott Seward : These things are great! I have dehydrated yogurt and "bean bark" on ...
I waited to write a review until I tried these out of a couple of different things. These things are great! I have dehydrated yogurt and "bean bark" on them and they clean up easier than the Excalibur silicone sheets and way less expensive.
Raindancer : Great value
This sheets are perfect for drying small fruits such as blueberries or chopped vegetables. The corners can be folded and pinned with a clip to make a bowl for drying broths, fruit leathers, etc. The price is right, they're washable and they last and last.
Stephen Tucker : Dehydrator Sheet
The Homey 10-pack Flexible Reusable and Resizable Non Stick Teflon Food Dehydrator Sheets, 14x14” are very nice. They are like using a fruit leather sheet but without the edges. They are doing a good job drying the peaches satisfactorily although not as quickly as Sheets with bigger holes in them. The peaches were very easy to peel up to turn over after 6 hours at 135. I will cut these sheets a bit larger than the bottom of my trays so it can have somewhat of an edge (though it doesn’t turn up, it just slightly bends to help keep things inside), and will use them for leathers and powders. They are very much like using parchment paper without the waste (which is important to me). They were extremely easy to cut with ordinary scissors. I highly recommend these sheets for all dehydrator trays. Update on Aug 6, 2920: they are hard to keep centered on your tray when cut a little large for fruit roll ups. I don’t recommend doing that. Otherwise they are great!
Shelli Oker : Good product

Love the sheets. Used them with polenta/scrambled eggs, sweet peppers, salsa, and spaghetti squash with sauce, all on separate trays. Everything came off nicely. Easy to clean. Cut to size with ease.

Absolutely amazing. I've been running our dehydrator daily for apples, strawberries, bananas, grapes, plums, pears, and oranges.
Nothing sticks so far. Easiest clean up by far.
A must have for dehydrators.
Katrina H : Absolutely love these! Makes cleanup a snap
Absolutely love these! Makes cleanup a snap. No more scrubbing. I would buy another set for my bakeware if they came it in the half sheet size. I will have to look into this.
Joanna : Great and nonstick!
I love these! They are great for dehydrating hearts or livers where its half liquid half solid. The heart did stain it a little but its fine by me.
Kikijean : Easy to use and clean
Exactly what I needed to use in dehydrator. Was able to cut to fit very easily. Fruit wraps did not stick, was very easy to roll them up. Very easy to clean.Would recommend them.

These were just what I was looking for. Super thin sheets that lay in top off my dehydrator’s racks. The dehydrated food slides right off when finished and cleaning up the sheets is a breeze. I rinse off with soapy water and hang to dry. Loved the price too!
tonya schubert : Non stick dehydrator sheets
I didn't know if they would hold up to dehydrating for a 4 day backpack trip but they are absolutely amazing! Easy to custom fit my trays and simple clean up made it all a breeze. Didn't hold flavors or smells like I was afraid would happen. Still have enough for future use down the road if needed. Absolutely the best purchase!
hensking : You can cut them to the size you need.
I love these! I bought them to dry fruit leather on. They don't get hot in my dehydrator, are flexible, easy to clean and reusable! You can cut them to the size that you need. I would definitely recommend these.
Raindancer : Great value
This sheets are perfect for drying small fruits such as blueberries or chopped vegetables. The corners can be folded and pinned with a clip to make a bowl for drying broths, fruit leathers, etc. The price is right, they're washable and they last and last.
Agent_Cooper : Great value...works perfect with my Excalibur 3900b
Bought these to go along with my Excalibur dehydrator. They are a very thin material, just slightly thicker than parchment paper. I'm not exactly sure what they're made of but it's almost like a woven silicone. The material is very slightly porous which is great when drying really damp stuff as it's tight enough to prevent drips but also allows a tiny bit of airflow from underneath. They are not 100% non-stick...when I make flax & veggie crackers I usually get a few little bits of stuff stuck on but I just throw them in the sink, run some water on them, wipe with a sponge and they're clean again. I also keep one on the very bottom tray of the dehydrator to catch drips which really helps keep the dehydrator clean.
John E. Payne : Homey is the way to go!
I wanted to do some dehydrating this winter and didn't want to clean up the mess. There was a lot of recommendation for this product and I love using them. The seller sourced them out well and they seem to be the best and reusable also. For the money you can't go wrong!
Carol : Reusable Non Stick Teflon Sheets for Dehydrator Sheets
Very easy to clean, but some things I had used to dry on it stained it. I baked some pastries and the butter went through it and marked it. It could have been made with a thicker material.
E.R. : Well made product.
Surprised by the quality.
Rosemary : I liked it. Easy to clean.
Used it to dehydrate herbs etc that were so small they would have dropped through the dehydrator racks. Easy to cut to fit. Easy to wash. I used them several times, washed and air dried them.
ljjaz : Dehydrator Life Made Easier
Keeps dehydrator much cleaner as the racks get dirty quick. Start my jerky on them then move to rack a couple hours later, no more drips. Great for my fruit leather to.
kasman : Takes the 'chore' out of dehydrator cleanup.
Works Amazing soak in hot water then wipe, rince and your cleanup is DONE.
A must buy for your dehydrator.

Sue : Great product!
Highly recommend! I had to cut the dehydrator sheets to fit in my dehydrator. Easy to cut, very durable, and easy to clean.
