Answer: I suspect China, I threw the cellophane wrapper already, buy Homey is a large Chinese Company from Shandong.

Answer: Yes you can cut sheets to size that will fit your trays

Answer: I love the durability of Homey dehydrator sheets; having them about six months.

Answer: I have had these in my Excalibur dehydrator to as high as it goes and have had no problems. Easy use, easy clean, love them. I’ve also trimmed them easily to fit a smaller unit.

Can you bake macarons on this?

Answer: Don't know why not. The description says they can be used for baking. I'm not sure what is different about baking macarons from other cookies, etc. so I couldn't say for sure. They are non-stick Teflon and work with the Dehydrator just fine and some of the stuff I've dehydrated is very sticky.

Answer: You would be better off getting Teflon baking sheet liners or using parchment paper.

Answer: I have made jerky with these sheets. I was concerned about clean-up with the trays, so used the sheets which cleaned very easy. The jerky turned out fine.

Answer: I've found it best to flip the jerky about 3/4 way through because they don't breathe and the bottom looks pale. Cleanup is just a hot soak in the sink and dry. Easy.

Answer: Yes, they keep stuff from dripping. I have used them for jerky and they work great and are re-usable and very easy to clean. I am very glad I purchased them!

Answer: These dehydrator sheets are manufactured to be oven safe 425 F but I wouldn't go over 400 F or 204 C. Also, don't ever place them directly on the heating elements. They will melt as the heating elements get much hotter than 425 F.

Do these have a texture? Meaning, are they 100% smooth on both sides with no micro squares or patterns? Using for Stereolithography.

Answer: I have bought these and there is no micro squares or patterns. I am on my second box have 3 9 shelve dryers. They clean well and I use them over and over. Hopes this helps

Answer: I can tell you that they work well. They look like they would breathe but they don't. I'm using them right now and have been happy with the way they clean up.

Answer: I have done all 9 trays and everything turned out great. You need to pause everything about half way through and pat all the shelves down with paper towels so that a large amount of fat does not collect on the bottom. The sheets should be aggressively cleaned after use. I also used the sheets for fruit roll ups. The kids loved them.

Answer: And so are soooooo many other things we use in modern-day life, Nicholas. Gotta choose the ones you're willing to deal with, whether slow-grade effect or accelerated with regards to harming your body's health. Sometimes I alternate with parchment paper (non-bleached, when available where I shop). What I love about these sheets is they're super easy to clean (just water since I hardly use oil) and then they store well rolled up. Bottom line: choose everything in moderation to play it safe.

Answer: These dehydrator sheets are 0.1MM thick. They are a little thinner than 2 sheets of printing paper glued together.

Answer: Couldn't give you an actual measurement, but about as thick as a piece of heavy weight paper - although they are a totally different texture, more like a coated pliable fabric. Pretty durable.

Answer: There are not visible holes, although it has a pattern suggesting micro perforations. They work very well and are easy to wipe off.

I would also be concerned if you used it using different drying methods such as in the oven. I have had my food dryer for many years and find it very useful and efficient.

What is "solid mesh"? Is it solid or is it slightly perforated to allow airflow through?

Answer: It's solid so lays on top of the mesh screens. These are made more for the box type dehydrators. Not the round ones that have the heater in the top and fan that blows it downward.

Answer: It’s like a bumpy, thin silicone. Seems solid to me. I’ve dehydrated leftovers and fruit and they have worked great. These are a little smaller than my racks so that probably helps with the air flow. Makes clean up super easy.

can they be used in the freezer?

Answer: Hi! I assume you'd be able to use them in the freezer, but I've never tried. Sorry!

The sheets I have are too porous for crafting; inks and thin glue seep through. Would you describe these as impenetrable when used with liquids?

Answer: In my experience no liquids have gone through the sheets. I have not had any staining of the sheets either.

Answer: Haven't fired up the machine but feel good about its potential. Many positives from other purchasers. It should be a lot better then my 10 year old Ronco

This is a really good deal! It fits perfectly in my Excalibur, is a fraction of the cost of the ones Excalibur sells, and does a great job. My only gripe is that if you put something with oil in it on it, it's going to permanently stain it. But that's as much me not really thinking as it is the sheet. I'd buy again. I've used these Homey dehydrator sheets for the first time this morning, in my new dehydrator. They work very well, are easily washed/cleaned, although the very light weight and 'slippery' body means that they do require some control, in that dragging a finger or utensil on the surface means that the sheet will be displaced on the rack, possibly w/ disastrous results (unless you really enjoy cleaning stuff off the floor).
Used w/ care, I recommend them highly as a reasonably priced and reusable dehydrator sheet.

I have had a huge tomato crop this year and dehydrated multiple loads so far this summer. These make cleanup a snap -- just a quick rinse in water and ready to load the next batch.

They do discolor slightly, but I don't have any problem with it. They are non-perforated but thin enough to allow airflow and good dehydration of tomatoes up to 1/4-1/2" thick at the vegetable setting on the Excalibur dehydrator.

Bought these to go along with my Excalibur dehydrator. They are a very thin material, just slightly thicker than parchment paper. I'm not exactly sure what they're made of but it's almost like a woven silicone. The material is very slightly porous which is great when drying really damp stuff as it's tight enough to prevent drips but also allows a tiny bit of airflow from underneath. They are not 100% non-stick...when I make flax & veggie crackers I usually get a few little bits of stuff stuck on but I just throw them in the sink, run some water on them, wipe with a sponge and they're clean again. I also keep one on the very bottom tray of the dehydrator to catch drips which really helps keep the dehydrator clean.

We loved using these food dehydrator sheets for drying pears and apples. They fit the trays of the dehydrator perfectly. They cleaned up so nicely with a little soap and water. To dry the sheets, I laid them back on the trays and put them in the dehydrator on warm for about 15 min. If you plan to do drying of any food, I would recommend these non-stick sheets.

After using a dehydrator load with traditional parchment paper and a load with these Teflon sheets, I can safely say that I will only use these Teflon sheets in the future. They are easier to use, the perfect size for my Excalibur, won't collapse when I tilt the sheet to spread out the puree mix, and give a nice result with the end product.

If you have a dehydrator and do not have these sheets, do not hesitate to get them ordered. I've been dehydrating for over 40 years and have fought getting the trays clean every time I use them. I have even taken them to the car wash. Seriously! I am thrilled to be able to make fruit leather again! As soon as I finish with the beef jerky I have going right now. They clean up incredibly easy and to dry put back on the trays in the dehydrator and turn it on for just a bit.
