Is this net big and tough enough for steelhead and salmon say up to 30 inches

Answer: No, large trout small steelhead about 18-20 inches

Answer: Due to its narrow width being streamline it makes it difficult to net fish over 22".. I have hundreds of videos using it on Instagram under HaAst Flyfishing Usa.. it will fit but touch have to be accurate landing or your up shitzz creek.

Will this fit my fishpond switchback wading belt system w/o falling out or hanging up?

Answer: I use a magnetic connection, but the net is long and hits the back of your feet so often I just put handle down in my wading belt if I’m walking a lot. Holds great but I still keep a lanyard connection so it doesn’t get away.

Answer: You still need a magnet or lanyard to secure in case you let go it stays near you. Great buy y love mine.

Answer: Inside Length of net is 19 &3/8th's inches, overall length of net including handle is 35 inches. Width is 9 & 3/4 inches inside width at its widest point. Depth off net is 112 inches. This is a beautiful net, well worth the money. I use it with my fly fishing vest using a magnetic clip/harness hooked thru the handle. Well worth the money!!

Answer: About 15"long by 8 1/2 wide and about 12" deep basket not able to look at it right now but these numbers are very close.

Answer: Not sure seems like a hard wood

Is replacement netting available? First day using the net, it got hooked on the dock and ripped the silicone net. Worst yet, didn't catch any fish.

Answer: I would think if you contacted the manufacturer they would replace it, just don’t tell them you were trying to net a dock. I think Amazon said Trademark Innovations are the suppliers.

WOW!!! Talk about bang for your buck. I am amazed at the quality of this net. Beautiful wood finish. Light weight and attached to my magnetic net release on the back of my vest with ease. Not sure about how long it will last, time will tell. I might put super glue on the threading that holds the netting to the wood to help it last longer. Not sure if that will work but looking into it first. I LOVE this net though!

Though this net was awesome at first and worked great. I have only had it 3 months, fished with a few times and caught maybe around 8-10 trout all around 12 inches. The last rainbow I caught was only 12 inches and half its body went through the net and broke the silicone, they make the net look really nice but I guess the silicone they use is supper cheap because I only had it 3 months and a tiny 12 inch trout ruins it, I would hate to see somebody loose a real prize using this net. They also say contact them if you have any problems but they leave no link to contact them or information other then being able to leave a review. $40 is a lot of money to only use a few times and have a small trout break the net.

Quality of the wood wasn't as good and the seal on the wood wasn't finished but it is mostly a visual issue.

I typically shy away from $100 + nets due to the abuse I put these through backpacking and covering difficult water in terms of wading. Net construction is close to some of the finer custom nets (not as fancy of course) but honestly a super fancy wood frame does nothing in terms of netting fish. If I lose it, I certainly will not cry at $39 for the medium size net. Yes the carbon fiber handle nets are a little lighter, but you are going to pay for that. Just ditch the one extra doulble bacon burger and IPA a month and the weight difference is cancelled out.

Arrived in good condition. The burl wood is attractive and it seems well constructed. I like the length. My reason for 4 stars is because the bowl hoop could be a bit beefier and the lanyard hole does not have a brass ferrule. I wish it was made in the USA, but those things are what you get when you spend more money on a net. This will serve just fine until I start making my own nets. If you want custom quality, go pay a custom price.

Had this net for a few weeks needed one for carp fishing. It’s deep, the finish is nice and it’s super light in my fishpond summit pack. I’ve put about 20 carp in it ranging from A few pounds to 11#. Ive never had a problem with the fish not fitting in the net or felt that it wasn’t up to the task of lifting the fist. The net had held up so far the holes are actually smaller and more round than they look like on the picture which I was happy about. If you’re looking for a nice “mid” length landing net that’s not gonna cost 150$ get this net you won’t be disappointed. The ruler is a nice added feature if you care, I don’t because well carp are carp.

This is a fantastic net.

The craftsmanship is very nice, utilizing quality wood, and the net material really is as snag free as a net can get. It is also easy on the fish, easy to keep clean, and fairly light (although not ultra light). This is my second one only because the 1st one I purchased was accidentally left at fishing spot for some other lucky angler to find.

I have searched and searched for a net that I don't have to spend $130 on that is similar sized to this one. The longer handle makes it perfect for landing your own fish while standing in the river. I could not be happier about this net, good quality and great price. Fits the bill perfect.

Nunya : this is very low quality work

The net bag was completely destroyed with several large holes. Frame had tool marks, and dings in the cheap varnish. The net was fixed to the frame with grocery twine. I threw the bag away, sanded and refinished the frame with a good grade of spar varnish and added my own net bag. Most people would not want to go to the trouble. If the rest of these are similar, they are junk.
