Questions about Ninja Foodi Dehydrator Stand, 6.5 & 8-Qt, Stainless Steel
Q:
Will these racks fit the 8 qt insta pot?
Answer: Hi! Although I don't have an Insta pot, I do have a 6.5 qt Ninja Foodi. I'm only assuming they would fit your 8qt pot since they do fit in my smaller pot. I would guide you to read the reviews which I did not do before purchasing. My review is on there. I kept mine but the racks all were concave and wobbly. They do still work though. For the price I paid I was very disappointed. Hope this helps.
Answer: Hello marianne,
Answer: It does indeed.
Q:
Can you remove every other shelf to use for wings?
Answer: Hello A. Cox,
Answer: Don’t see why not. Should be able to have only one or two shelves in the rack.
Q:
Dehydration rack will it work on a 300 series of Foodi?
Answer: Hello jc,
Q:
can you pressure cook quart jars of food for canning in the foodi?
Answer: Hello Disappointed,
Answer: Definitely no! Pressure cooking and pressure canning are two distinct and different animals. Never, never, never try canning using a pressure COOKER. For canning you want to get yourself a pressure CANNER. Do a google search to learn the difference. Happy canning.
Q:
Can you use these racks to also air fry bacon?
Answer: Hello Susan Ross,
Answer: I haven't used mine yet, but I would certainly think you could. Keep in mind that the grease from the top slices will be dripping down on the slices below.

It says compatible with op301, however, op301 does not appear to have the dehydrator function?? there’s no dehydrator button.

Answer: It just means that it fits in the OP301. You can use it for multi-level cooking, you don't have to just dehydrate with it.

Are the trays easy to take out?
Answer: They are easy to use and put in and out of the foodi. Easy to clean also.
Answer: Yes. They will come out all together. I purchased the small silicone mits to help take out any hot trays. They are small (just got over your fingertips) and work amazing!
Answer: It’s true that you have to be careful in setting them up and taking them out and stacking them when filling them up. It’s a bit awkward but not difficult once you get the hang of it.

Answer: Hello Charles Moore,
Q:
will this fit in a power XL air fryer?
Answer: Hello Leonard CiufoJR,
Answer: I don’t THAT airfryer so I don’t know if it will fit but I would NOT use this for airfrying. Even with a single rack, the top would cook and the bottom would not when airfrying since the heat source is from the top. It would result in uneven cooking. I guess you can rotate the racks, but remember, it’s metal so it’s super hot to touch.
Answer: Not sure you would have to check your dimensions against Ninjas dimensions..since this is made for the Ninja Foodi

Answer: Hello Cynthia Ann Gray,
Product reviews of Ninja Foodi Dehydrator Stand, 6.5 & 8-Qt, Stainless Steel
Sparky : I had no problems with it...
It took a little bit of time to figure it out. Of course it takes longer to dehydrate when you use three or four of them.
A Person : Wobbly and overpriced
The whole rack is wobbly and fits together poorly. The ONLY nice thing about it that might be better than the "knockoffs" is that they ground down all the sharp edges so there's no easy chance to scrape it on the pot.
AllAboutIdaho : Suppose to look bent. There is a reason for that when dehydrating.
I was not disappointed at all. These are the right thing. DO NOT listen to others that are saying "It arrived bent/crooked." They are manufactured that way for a reason. Easy to clean as well. Dishwasher safe.
Amazon Customer : Not Worth The Money and Dangerous
As others have noted the trays arrived bent/warped and stuck together.
Additionally several had rough metal poking out which resulted in a nice clean cut across my palm while cleaning.
KCee : Great accessory! Fantastic Quality.
Excellent quality! Great accessory. You can even set it up with a rack on every other level for steaming dumplings, pierogi or other larger items. Very happy with my purchase.
Amazon Customer : Good product
Read the reviews about cheap and bent but ordered anyway because there really isn't an alternative. I was pleasantly surprised. It came double boxed, the product box put inside an Amazon box. Showed up in perfect condition. The shelves ar a bit concave from the top side I suppose that would help if you have items that may roll. It is sturdy enough for what it is made for. I like that you can leave out a rack for thicker items or all in for quantity. Over what I expected. Obviously this is for the foodi and not a commercial dehydrator so limit your expectations to that and you won't be disappointed.
Menyon : Gets the job done
My daughter got her Dad this for Fathers Day to go with his new Ninja Foodi!. He was excited to use it however it is rather flimsy after putting it together and when he dehydrated, it rattles and is rather noisy. He has adapted to dehydrating at night when we go to bed because the noise from the Foodi with the dehydrating racks in is annoying while we are trying to watch TV or read in the living area off the kitchen. The racks get the job done but I would suggest oiling them before use because the fruit will stick to them and they are not easy to clean when that happens. Especially grapes and bananas. We are going to contact Ninja as well and if we find out it is not the racks I will edit my review to reflect that.
chemess : Really Small
Pros:
1) Stainless steel.
2) Dishwasher safe.
Cons:
1) Really, really, really small!
2) NOT for the Ninja Foodi OP300 or OP301, because these models do NOT have the "Dehydrate" function.
Better to buy a real dehydrator such as a Nesco FD-61.
Ben : Works great!
On arrival these weren't as cheap as people reviewed them to be. They were all normal when I opened the package. So far I'm 3 dehydrations in and some of the trays are warping just a bit. It doesn't affect the process in the slightest, so Id have to say, its just people nit picking.
Warren Wind : Defective Item
Received my item, it had a defective tray, I followed Amazon's recommendation to contact Ninja Direct, which I did, after 30 minutes of hold time my call was answered and even though Amazon recommended i contact Ninja told me they would not help me and i need to contact Amazon, Amazon sending replacement item but why tell me to contact the manufacturer and the manufacturer tell me to contact Amazon, It's the typical pass the buck that companies do today, no company wants to take responsibility for their actions. Beware when you purchase Ninja products through Amazon
Tilt : Fits perfectly, easy to use
Fits the 6.5 qt. Ninja Foodi perfectly. Very easy to use, great design. Dehydrated mango stuck to the racks but it was not a horrible effort to get it clean.
TJ : Works for purpose intended
As others have stated, the racks are a little flimsy, but they work as intended. My main reason for this review is to commend Ninja for their great customer service! The tack welds had come off of one side of one of my trays and I asked if anyone knew the grade of SS was used so I could have someone at work re-tack the tray. Ninja stepped up and sent me a replacement, without my even contacting them! This is the type of business that I will purchase from in the future!
Keith Alley : Very easy to use.
Holds much more product than I thought it would.
Lynn : Bent but totally functional. Ok to clean.
I read the reviews so I wasn’t surprised when it came bent. That being said it was still completely functional. All the layers set into place just fine.
I specifically got the ninja foodi for the dehydrator. (I used a snackmaster dehydrator in the past and debated getting that... but the multi use of the Foodi so it wasn’t taking up so much space for a single utility won me over).
The racks worked just fine. And the dehydrator process was faster than the snackmaster. Clean up was annoying as would any grate material be to clean. But the small size of the racks means they could go in the dishwasher. And it was still easier to clean than the plastic of the snackmaster.
Given that it’s metal I hope it doesn’t scratch the inside of my foodi pot. And I hope the racks don’t bend to the point that they could wouldn’t fit together.
Overall I recommend these because they add convenient to use, obviously a great fit did the Foodi, and perfectly functional.

TogWithNoBlog : Fits 6 or 8 qt Ninja Foodi - easy to use
A little pricey for the quality (they are slightly uneven), but works for what I need it for. Shelves can be all used at once or take away a few to just have double shelves and more space. Fits both Foodi’s.
Already dehydrated some fruit. Next up is jerky!
B. S. : Good multi level rack for Ninja
I have the larger Ninja and as this fits both sizes, this one has room to spare in my cooker. I use mainly for air crisping multiple small items at once. Use a decent cooking spray and clean while still warm.
Lynn : Bent but totally functional. Ok to clean.

Joe : Excellent stacking....
Nice wire mesh stackable trays. And really, people whining about a few waves in the wire mesh? It's wire people, bend it back, and oh, it's for dehydration, not building a freaking Ferrari.... My god, some people.....

Edward Y : Perfect they are excellent
Perfect for dehydrating fruit (havn't done beef jerky yet) Quality of the racks are good. They are supposed to be a little concave. (talked to Ninja) Easy to clean as well. I think they should be 5 dollars cheaper but they are worth it.
Daniel R. Williams : 5 star product
I recieved this dehydrator today and must say it arived in excellent condition. Was worried after reading many reviews they say they come in bent u, poor quality and etc. I am wondering if they bought the Ninja brand or the one that says it is compatible. The Ninja brand is a couple of dollars more. Mine is of very good quality was packaged with each disk wrapped and a piece of cardboard in between. It was easy to assemble and I have it in my 8 q Ninja t deluxe foodi pot now with 40 sweet potato chips on it. Took me less than 45 minutes to assembly it peel and cut my chips an get the hydrator going. I must say I used the Geogoffry Zaratan Safe Slice Hand upright mandolin to cut the sweet potatoes at 1/8 inch slices which took less than a minute to slice. That is another inexpensive chopper/slicer that is a dream to use because you can dial the thickness from 1/16 to 1/4 inch. wworks like a dream.

Sherrie : Acceptable but could be better
The racks are easily bent. The way it is made once you get the racks in place the stand will wobble from side to side. Does not feel real sturdy, but it does work.
Anthonie : Inaccurate description by omission.
This item is not bring sold as described. While it claims it is compatible with the ninja foodie OP300, it can not be used as a dehydrator. It can only fit into it. The OP300 is the model WITHOUT a dehydration function. Throughout the manual and description it claims it is for the OP300 series of ninja foodies. Just not the one it is using for it's description.
Jaymie : Works for it's purpose
While these came in a little wonky and bent (I did read reviews first and noted that many people received them the same way), they do the job and am happy with it.
Rita Celeste : Small and Wobbly
Okay, if you are not an elf, this is a waste of money. The area for food is small. You run this thing 5 to 7 hours for a tiny snack? I wanted it for jerky but it looks pretty pathetic. Maybe it would be good for tiny test the recipe stuff? To make jerky for my family, I'm going to find a way to do it in my oven. Its Wobbly too unless there is some locking feature I missed? Ninja had to know the food area on this is tiny and they promoted this feature and rack? It only dehydrated my wallet so far. It came with a two tier stand I can load with chicken wings, pressure cook from frozen in way less time than the oven. Now that was awesome, this not so much.
Kindle Customer : Bent trays!
I could not wait to get this product. Very sad when received all the trays were bent not straight. Sad because it a ninja product. Will keep because it took so long to get. Quality in not good. Bowed in center of each tray does not look straight like picture. Just a heads up.
Victoria : Needed item!
So glad I found this. Didn't want to purchase from Foodi Website directly.
Easy to assemble and clean.
Others stated that the racks were bent. The only thing I notes was the very bottom rack has a slight dip in the very middoe. Not anything that would interfere with the dehydrating of foods.
Amy Lourenco : Works but Wobbly
This works pretty well. It’s a bit wobbly, so you need to be careful moving it from the Foodi to counter or vice versa. Cleans up easily and comes apart for storage. Great
for jerky.
Kate Galway : Iffy
I was expecting a sturdy rack but it is a little difficult to install and a little wobbly. Somewhat disappointed.
Natures Retreat : Cheap
Made cheap, hard to clean.
BABRunner : Haven't Used
Just got this addition to my 'Foodie'. Hoping it will speed up dehydration process.

Joe : Excellent stacking....
Nice wire mesh stackable trays. And really, people whining about a few waves in the wire mesh? It's wire people, bend it back, and oh, it's for dehydration, not building a freaking Ferrari.... My god, some people.....
H. Ginn : worked great on the Foodi Ninja for dehydrating
loved that it fit and worked great, the only negative is I wish it was non stick. My sweet potato treats I made for the dog stuck to the rack in some areas. I guess you need to oil it before use so stuff does not stick but other than that I am very pleased.
Denise : A little too flimsy for me but it does The job.
I was super excited to get the dehydrator stand for my foodie! To my surprise it was not as sturdy as I had expected it to be. When I received my first stand, it was flimsier then expected and bent everywhere. A Couple of spots there was like, un-welded spots of metal that was protruding to where I could cut myself on it. I immediately sent it back for a replacement. The second one came and it was just as flimsy but not damaged. I decided to keep it and try it out. The cinnamon apples I made were the best! But I am a little disappointed in Ninja’s idea of quality in the stand. I guess bottom line is, it does the job and we,ll see how long the stand lasts.

James M : In March 2021, perfect, not "bent" as old reviews showed , not warped. Very slight curve. Perfect.
In March 2021, perfect, not "bent" as old reviews showed , not warped. Very slight curve to keep food from rolling to sides.
Perfect.
Now I own a food dryer for sliced items that is twice as fast as a pro food dryer.
Half as many hours to dehydrate.
It would need special trays for making fruit rollups from goo, but i dont make fruit rollups. Just beef jerky and some sliced fruits.
ToniRae : Do not buy these!!!
These are absolute junk. They are bent, the welds are broken. Very cheaply made.
MBF : Love this
We use our Ninja Foodi 4 - 5 times a week and this accessory makes cooking even easier.
Mark A. : Received bent
I’m giving these a one star review because of the quality. The racks all look like someone stepped on them in it middle. I don’t know if it is because of the way they warehouse or they were just made cheaply.
Anthony : Buy something else
These are very small. I thought there would be more room between the racks and better built. They are very flimsy and mine were smushed when they arrived. Not the quality I would expect from Ninja.
Chris A Storey : A nice additional accessory!
This was a great product for the price, and it is already paying for itself. It's easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, and will help when I don't want to use my industrial dehydrator for just a small amount. I hate wasting corn tortillas, and we buy freshly made, weekly. I love corn chips, and we are able to make them fresh like a restaurant, but healthier. This is also be great for fruit chips, kale chips, and I'm even going to use it to make dried fruit for a small holiday garland. (Leah the spouse, not Chris)

Lisa : Dehydrating rack
This was to big for our foodie. There really is not alot of room on these racks for a alot of drying.
Gary L Floyd : More than just a dehydrator stand
While this item will definitely come in handy when I get to making my Beef Jerky... that is not the prime reason I purchased it... the removable racks make for a very diverse cooking experience especially on the krisp-cook (air fry) setting when wanting to cook 2 or more different foods that require the same temp and time settings... you have different levels to keep the food separate instead of all jumbled in the air fryer pot that comes with the Ninja Foodi...

L. Hawkins : The product works well but the quality of the racks is horrible.
The racks work well once you get them together and it has a number of shelves but the quality of the material is horrible. The racks are bent, not enough to be a big problem, they bow in the middle, but you have to watch what you put on them. Some of the edges of the racks are very sharp and can cut your fingers or scratch your pot. The rack scratched the inside of my main Foodi pot when I pulled it out after using it this weekend. It's too late to return them but I'm not sure how much I will use them now.
Lynn Rosebrock : Not for the Ninja Foodi Grill
I wish I had read somewhere that it doesn’t fit inside the Ninja Foodi Grill. It will fit in the Ninja Foodi that has the pressure cooker option in it that is round. I had it here to long to return, so I’m giving it to a friend that has that model. It was like trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. Doesn’t fit.
Charles : Solud
Had to do a little adjustment for a good fit
