Answer: Hi! Although I don't have an Insta pot, I do have a 6.5 qt Ninja Foodi. I'm only assuming they would fit your 8qt pot since they do fit in my smaller pot. I would guide you to read the reviews which I did not do before purchasing. My review is on there. I kept mine but the racks all were concave and wobbly. They do still work though. For the price I paid I was very disappointed. Hope this helps.

Answer: It just means that it fits in the OP301. You can use it for multi-level cooking, you don't have to just dehydrate with it.

Even with a single rack, the top would cook and the bottom would not when airfrying since the heat source is from the top. It would result in uneven cooking. I guess you can rotate the racks, but remember, it’s metal so it’s super hot to touch.

This item is not bring sold as described. While it claims it is compatible with the ninja foodie OP300, it can not be used as a dehydrator. It can only fit into it. The OP300 is the model WITHOUT a dehydration function. Throughout the manual and description it claims it is for the OP300 series of ninja foodies. Just not the one it is using for it's description.

Never used a dehydrator before, but when I got my Ninja Foodi with that function and loving beef jerky and dried veggies I just had to get this rack and give it a try. Just before going to bed on the first try I made a bach of beef jerky using instructions from YouTube (marinated overnight the day before) with great success. The next night made banana chips also turned out great. Easy to use and fits the Foodi perfectly. No need for a separate dehydrator taking up space.

While this item will definitely come in handy when I get to making my Beef Jerky... that is not the prime reason I purchased it... the removable racks make for a very diverse cooking experience especially on the krisp-cook (air fry) setting when wanting to cook 2 or more different foods that require the same temp and time settings... you have different levels to keep the food separate instead of all jumbled in the air fryer pot that comes with the Ninja Foodi...

I'm extremely disappointed that this product will not stay upright, that it leans from side to side and it isn't easy at all to load the levels. I was really looking forward to it simplifying and providing more space for dehydrating. I live in Valdez, Alaska, so it's a hassle for me to send something back and then wait forever for its replacement to arrive, especially during this pandemic. And, after what I'm reading from the other comments, so many others have experienced the same from their first and replacement order. I'll try to use it to see if it helps at all. If not, it will go directly into the trash. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

My daughter got her Dad this for Fathers Day to go with his new Ninja Foodi!. He was excited to use it however it is rather flimsy after putting it together and when he dehydrated, it rattles and is rather noisy. He has adapted to dehydrating at night when we go to bed because the noise from the Foodi with the dehydrating racks in is annoying while we are trying to watch TV or read in the living area off the kitchen. The racks get the job done but I would suggest oiling them before use because the fruit will stick to them and they are not easy to clean when that happens. Especially grapes and bananas. We are going to contact Ninja as well and if we find out it is not the racks I will edit my review to reflect that.

Items came bent and easily bend and twist as you use them. Fruit sticks to the grills and is a bit of a challenge to clean. Would have expected the items to be more sturdy and of better quality. Also, I think the distance between trays is less than ideal as they do not cook (or dry) evenly. The top and bottom tray dry slower than the middle trays.

Love this rack. Have made beef jerky for my husband about 8 times now. Rack hold about a pound and a half of meat based on really thin sliced. I usually buy a 3 lb roast and have to do 2 batches in the foodi. My husband says it's the best jerky ever. So much better than the stuff you buy in the store.

I wish I had read somewhere that it doesn’t fit inside the Ninja Foodi Grill. It will fit in the Ninja Foodi that has the pressure cooker option in it that is round. I had it here to long to return, so I’m giving it to a friend that has that model. It was like trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. Doesn’t fit.

This was a great product for the price, and it is already paying for itself. It's easy to use, easy to clean, easy to store, and will help when I don't want to use my industrial dehydrator for just a small amount. I hate wasting corn tortillas, and we buy freshly made, weekly. I love corn chips, and we are able to make them fresh like a restaurant, but healthier. This is also be great for fruit chips, kale chips, and I'm even going to use it to make dried fruit for a small holiday garland. (Leah the spouse, not Chris)

Okay, if you are not an elf, this is a waste of money. The area for food is small. You run this thing 5 to 7 hours for a tiny snack? I wanted it for jerky but it looks pretty pathetic. Maybe it would be good for tiny test the recipe stuff? To make jerky for my family, I'm going to find a way to do it in my oven. Its Wobbly too unless there is some locking feature I missed? Ninja had to know the food area on this is tiny and they promoted this feature and rack? It only dehydrated my wallet so far. It came with a two tier stand I can load with chicken wings, pressure cook from frozen in way less time than the oven. Now that was awesome, this not so much.

A Person : Wobbly and overpriced

The whole rack is wobbly and fits together poorly. The ONLY nice thing about it that might be better than the "knockoffs" is that they ground down all the sharp edges so there's no easy chance to scrape it on the pot.

Alas, I was disappointed. As another review states, the racks are bent. They are not straight and sturdy like the stock photo. They were hard to photograph but I attached some pictures. I am not sure if I will keep them.

At the time of this writing, I haven’t used it but looking forward to it. I have seen people advertising on FB using it, can hardly wait to try it using fresh foods without chemicals. I’ve had a big dehydrator many years ago and loved it.

2) NOT for the Ninja Foodi OP300 or OP301, because these models do NOT have the "Dehydrate" function.

Better to buy a real dehydrator such as a Nesco FD-61.

L. Hawkins : The product works well but the quality of the racks is horrible.

The racks work well once you get them together and it has a number of shelves but the quality of the material is horrible. The racks are bent, not enough to be a big problem, they bow in the middle, but you have to watch what you put on them. Some of the edges of the racks are very sharp and can cut your fingers or scratch your pot. The rack scratched the inside of my main Foodi pot when I pulled it out after using it this weekend. It's too late to return them but I'm not sure how much I will use them now.

On arrival these weren't as cheap as people reviewed them to be. They were all normal when I opened the package. So far I'm 3 dehydrations in and some of the trays are warping just a bit. It doesn't affect the process in the slightest, so Id have to say, its just people nit picking.

I really like the Foodi, and this is a perfect fit for the beef jerky. It does feel a bit cheaply made, and kinda hard to figure out if you put the plates on correctly, but after fidgeting with it, it came together ok.

They're very sturdy, I put one of my melons on it and it didn't bend at all. They're easier to clean if you soak them for a few minutes. Assembling from the bottom up is much easier. Great buy.

I use these in my 6.5qt foodi and it fits with room to spare. Mine came in fine no bent pieces like others have had. I will say they are pretty wobbly but work fine for dehydrating sweet potatoes for my dogs. I throw them in the dishwasher on the bottom rack and no issues so far!

Warren Wind : Defective Item

Received my item, it had a defective tray, I followed Amazon's recommendation to contact Ninja Direct, which I did, after 30 minutes of hold time my call was answered and even though Amazon recommended i contact Ninja told me they would not help me and i need to contact Amazon, Amazon sending replacement item but why tell me to contact the manufacturer and the manufacturer tell me to contact Amazon, It's the typical pass the buck that companies do today, no company wants to take responsibility for their actions. Beware when you purchase Ninja products through Amazon
