Does this come with tow line? What would people recommend if it does not?

Answer: Doesn’t come with a tow line but they should have some at your local dive shop I have to they work great for snorkeling and diving

Answer: No, it does not, we use a reel line and attach it to the bottom of the float

So when i deploy the buoy, do i just anchor it to something on the bottom?

Answer: Yes it has a loop you can attach a line to on the bottom and anchor.

Answer: At the bottom of the yellow buoy is a hole. You can tie the rope and weight in the other end which touches the water floorbed.

What are the dimensions when shipped? - need to pack in suitcase

Answer: When they shipped it, it came in a box maybe 36” long by 12” wife by 3” deep. The problem is the uprights that hold the flag. They are 22” long.

Answer: I don't remember the exact dimensions but it's compressed and folded so it should fit easily in a suitcase.

Do you have to attach a weight to it to keep it upright?

Answer: Hi Jeff,

Answer: There is a clip on the bottom for a weight. I clipped a finger spool to it and put some water in the center opening. It only tipped with big wind. I just pulled the rope and it came upright easily. Love this item. I feel alot safer when snorkeling. We have crazy boaters on our lake.

Answer: Yes. Hook weight to tab under it and inside as well or it will flip over.

Answer: When I first used it fell over. There is a loop so you can tie a line and drop a weight to the bottom. I simply put a couple water bottles in the center and it kept it up right

Answer: Yes it needs to be secured. It will wander with the wind. Get something little like 550 cord (paracord). It has a small hole at the bottom for it.

krista bledsoe : Do not buy

Float itself is decent. Never received dive flag, flag mount or weight clip that is described on product insert that comes with item and as described before you buy item. Have purchased item TWICE trying to get the missing items, not a coincidence that two separate shipments did not have missing items. Don’t buy, it’s a waste of time and money. And no amount of customer support can fix this as there’s no one to get back with you! Extremely unhappy.
