Can someone explain the open fire thing - i have a grill that works on gas - can i put it inside or cant? and if i cant, do i need to add something?

Answer: I have a gas grill but flames never get high enough to worry about. However, I’ve found that the bags are too small and don’t open very much and food easily sticks to it. I finally bought a “Char-Broil Non-Stick Grill Basket” and it’s perfect (it’s also available at Amazon). Hope this helps!

The description says Grill bag. However it warns not to use on an open fire. Can someone explain this please?

Answer: You should only use this with a smoker grill or some other type of grill with indirect heat. Do not use it when exposed to a direct flame

Can i put sauce in with veggies?

Answer: I marinate the veggies then put them in the pockets. Because they are mesh I wouldn’t add sauce

Initially loved them- very easy to clean and use, perfect for grilling veggies for 2. After a couple months of moderate use, the edging on one bag came completely off- looks like ribbon when it detached. I was hoping for better durability.

These things are great! Instead of having to flip each veggie independently you can do the whole swoop! The only down side and reason for 4 stars is that if your veggies are cut too thick, the end doesn't close and you could lose some of your yum yums

Have to be very careful not to dump contents out when turning over, needs either some type of snap or zipper that will stand up to high barbecue temperature, even if it costs a little more.
