Which model of trinidad a is this? looking for TN16A

Answer: The "N" designates a narrowed spool. I made the mistake myself and bought a N model. I loaded it up with 50 lb. braid and took it fishing anyway. We ran out of bait early and it became a jig casting trip. We hit a paddy that was loaded and I got 2 large dodos and four yellowfin in the 60 lb class in short order. I'm a believer in narrowed spools now. Easy to cast and fast to take up the line again.

How much 30# braid will 20 a hold

Answer: Not sure about 30# braid, I have nearly 300yds of 50# braid on mine. It has plenty of guts for even heavier line. I love the narrow spool and have caught many tuna and Dorado on jigs with it.

Answer: well over 650yds... nor sure exactly but it holds like 500yds of 50#....

Answer: don't know, but just google the reel and look at tackle store specs on the reel. some should show braid. Or call a tackle shop that sells the reel and braid.

Would NEVER recommend! Burnt/tore drag washer on a 13lb Salmon, a almost-new reel. Parts probably all made in China, and not Japan. Shame!

I use this reel for jigging, it is excellent. With the narrow spool you rarely have to worry about spooling too unevenly when retrieving. It is also very comfortable because of its size. With 25 lbs of drag there is very little you can't pull in. Fishing in 250 ft depths isn't too big of an issue. I recommend pairing this with a Shimano teramar 20 - 50 rod. Line capacity is great. I spooled about 400 yards of 50lb test J braid.
