Answer: Ray I have 2 of these amazing reels, both have brought me in 20lb blue and channel cats with ease as far as disengaging Im not sure what you mean? an anti reverse locking system yes you have to have your drag properly adjusted but most have a drag maximum so as long as you keep reeling you'll be good

Does this reel (401D) have a Bait Clicker like the 400B and 700B?

I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend because he has this reel already but he and his clients have used it so much that it's "wearing down" according to him. He's had it for years and absolutely loves it so much that I decided to buy him another.
