Answer: It has color coded alligator clips, the batteries do as well. Naturally , you Have to hook them up properly. The batteries usually work about two years for me. I have five chargers and ten batteries that I use for Mojo decoys.

Wrong product shipped three times from two different suppliers. This is not the 6v charger. This is the 12v wall wart. I laready have two of them so I had no need for a third. Amazon said they wre going to fix the ad. They haven't.

Cord came without the adapter in the package that was labeled cord with adapter. Company has not sent me the adapter as they promised after I contacted them twice.

The product received is not what is advertised and shown. The battery shown is the Mojo battery, not a universal 6 volt battery like the one received. If I had wanted a universal battery, I could have gotten one much cheaper. The poles on the universal battery are different and smaller.
