Why won’t it work? I put in the batteries and still nothing

Answer: Because it is a piece of crap! I threw mine away as soon as I tried it. It didn’t seal, one of the contact pads popped right off and the part that cuts is too tiny to do anything. Waste of money!

I would give this zero stars if I could. I have never left a negative review before but this deserves it to save others money. We waste so much food like salad and pre-cut broccoli that comes in bags. I thought this was going to be amazing. I read the other reviews. I should’ve known better. You absolutely get what you pay for..

You need two AA batteries that are not included.. They are very easy to snap in. This design overall is stupid. The end that heats up and seals has two pads. In order to make it work, you press them together for 3 to 5 seconds and then slide it along your bag. I pressed mine together and the pad came out of the device and stuck to the bottom part. Even when I put it back in and pressed hard, it did it again. On the third time I shoved it in, heated it up and then ran it across the bag. It did nothing.. The bag didn’t even feel warm and I held it down for at least 7 seconds.

In order to press the two pads together, you put pressure on the back of the device. This is the battery compartment. So every time you push, the back of the battery cover pops off in your hand.

Finally, this is the tiny, minuscule blade that is supposed to cut through bags. It didn’t cut through a layer of plastic wrap let alone any bags that I tried.

Since the price was low, it is now living in the trash. It’s not worth the effort or money to mail it back for a return. Lesson learne.
