How do the brackets work with additional trays? Does the product come with larger brackets to fit over six trays?
Answer: The brackets don't work & they don't come with larger ones. You don't need them to use the dehydrator. The brackets are convenient for storage, but not a necessary item.
Answer: The brackets don't fit over the extra trays. The trays stack in place without them, I decided that the brackets were for shipping and I don't use them when I am drying. The extra trays are well worth the price.

I purchased this to add a tray to each of my Nesco Dehydrators. The additional tray fits right on the originals without any issues and increases the capacity of each drying cycle. Appearance is a little different than the originals that came with the dehydrator but works just as well.

My conclusion was that I had received a damaged product and didn't know because I was dummy because I didn't open the product box (of course, if I open the product box I would be charged also).
I had returned both products the way I received. Because of that I was charged and still there was no explanation why I was charged for two returns if I sent one box with both product inside.
After a long discussion with customer service they finally refund me for the product but because the system had already processed the refund they could only give amazon credit.

Market on the Move is a nonprofit getting produce about to be discarded but still fine from big city warehouses, out into the burbs and into the city for people who need it or can make good use of it. You get 80 # for 10 bucks, or more if there is plenty. So I got a dehydrator to make good use of tomatoes, peppers, squash, etc. My 28 year old thinks yellow squash with salt tastes like potato chips. Love cooking or snacking on the peppers and tomatoes. Red and orange SWEET snack. Best?: good apples, sliced thin, with cinnamon tossed and then dried to a crisp. Delicious, nutritious. Save money. Share as gifts. Take the extra to neighbors and friends. This thing has a motor, is a little loud but I put it in a back room and go check it occasionally. The trays do get pretty warm to the touch but seem to tolerate it. I would never leave it on and leave the house though. If you don't do it on humid days, it goes quickly.
