Grilled Salmon,, hands down.
Grilled salmon all the way.
We got a thread on this somewere. I would use that one before creating a new topic.

Quoteperch?

Crappie!
panfish.
1. Gaftop saltwater catfish right after being caught.
2. Redfish.
3. Anything stuffed with shrimp and crab meat.
4. Speckled Trout.
another vote for grilled salmon, I like mine with a lot of salt too...
I don't like salmon.
Vermillion rockfish, king mackerel, wahoo, fluke, and weakfish top my list. Tuna is always tasty. Mako shark is probably my favorite. I don't eat freshwater fish - sadly the ones around me tend to be a little too ummm hermaphroditic for my tastes.
Fish I can catch locally?
Panfish, Bream, Sunfish, Bluegill, etc...
Fish I can't catch locally:

I realize that this is a bass forum, but I'm baffled by the unpopularity of largemouth bass.
Just last week I was eating fresh-caught walleye, but I can honestly say that I've eaten
largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and white bass that rivaled the flavor of yellow perch.
If commercial fish were included, I'd give the nod to "Orange Roughy" :o
Roger
RoLo,
I do love to eat bass once in a while. I was just commenting on my favorites.
I especially like to eat bass that are just over legal size.
Cleaned, scaled and filleted, fried in butter with a little bit of wine and served with lightly seasoned rice and steamed vegetables that are in need of butter, salt and pepper. 8-)
Trout all over the world baby!
I enjoy Salmon, Trout, Catfish and Striped Bass.

Roger
1.perch
2.crappie
3.bass
i also love pike and musky but i hate all the bones
Snook!
havent had many. my favorite was chinese style (marinated and steamed) largemouth bass
It's a tossup for me. Cobia, redfish, speckled trout, or crappie. Tough one.
freshwater=Walleye
saltwater= Cobia
Walleye is number one. In no particular order are salmon, catfish, and crappie.
Fluke, Weakfish definetly , also striped bass is pretty tasty too.
Saltwater: Dolphin
Freshwater: Bluegill (I've heard about lake trout and walleye, but haven't had them)
White Perch, Crappie, Papermouth, Sac-a-lait, Pomoxis annularis ;D
Perch, Salmon, Trout, and Walleye all our located abundantly in my area.
Also, Bluegill is very good.. most people dont know that and overlook them but if you havent tasted it you are missing out big time.
Fish I absolutely cant stand to eat are (in order) Cat Fish, Muskie, Pike, and Bass. Bass dont taste too bad but I admire them too much to eat them.
Grilled Salmon, Dolphin, Yellow Fin Tuna, Fried Flounder and Fried Catfish.
Hey Big T, you better tell them you mean Mahi-Mahi...... Not Flipper :-)
My favorites are all so different, it's like comparing apples to oranges, so I can't really give you any particular order, but I love these fish (when fresh, and prepared correctly)
Salmon, Halibut, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Swordfish, Catfish (Channels and Flathead), Crappie, Sturgeon....
I hate Bass, both Largemouths and Stripers.... Oh, and Sea Bass too. All bass just taste too fishy for me. Trout.... well.... It's okay sometimes, but I'd rather leave them for the bass to eat, then C/R the bass when they get huge, and go home to a dinner of anything from my above list :-)
Peace,
Fish
Hey Fish Chris, you are right I should have said Mahi instead of dolphin(not Flipper). , I take it forgranted that everyone knows what the Dolphin fish is, too much time in the saltwater fishing scene. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention red drum. They are pretty tasty but I usually release those guys because the stock is so heavly fished.
Has to be pan-fried walleye fillets, hands-down !
No love for the flounder????mmm flounder, and i love tuna and salmon but in raw in sushi
Walleye for sure!
Fresh- Walleye
Salt - Halibut
mmmmmmmmmmm...
