This is from the second time I went to Alaska. This is the trip that I fished the Kenai. Fished for 4 days without boating a fish. On the very last day, I had decided not to stress over getting a fish, just have fun.
Pull into the first hole, drop the kwikfish back, click the spool into gear, turn my head to say something to my mom when the rod gets hammered. About a 15-20 minute fight that took us about a mile down river. Ill never forget the way I felt when I had that fish sitting at my feet.
