Ok folks, another game.
If you have one free round trip airplane ticket to anywhere in US and the destination had to be out of your home state and it has to be for bass fishing trip, where would you go?
I actually have mileages that I want to use.
Florida
Oh and if you have any particular body of water in mind, please go ahead to share that too.
Mexico. I've been twice and can't wait until I can get back. The fishing and the experience itself are both amazing.
Definitely El Salto in Mexico.
Is Mexico part of the United States now?

Sure seems like it sometimes
I've fished a number of premier bass lakes in the southeast as annual trips for a number of years. KY Lake is by far my favorite.

Like when the Olympics were in the good ole USA and people from New Mexico who called in for tickets were told to call Mexico for event tickets.
Yep, I guess Mexico is a part of the USA.
Any place that is warm, has 10+ pound bass and a good lodge.
I'd give Raul a visit
Though I've had success a bit further south, a trip to Falcon Lake would be my choice.
I'd be following (OK Stalking) Big-O around trying to locate some of those "Magic Trees".

If you have to stay within the US this is it for me.
Sorry so close....but the Columbia River for smallies above Hood River. No people and lots of fish.
I'd get down to North Carolina, and meet up with flukey to check on his "pets."

LOL
Good one.

Falcon would be cool, but a day of "dink dropping" fivers, with a shot at an 8+ would be just as cool.
I would have to say that it would be a river to go small mouth fishing. I would go with the Snake River because it is a different area of the US I have not been and different scenery.
Definitely Texas. I may actually get to do this one, my little brother just accepted a Pastorate out there and has already extended the invite!

They've applied for statehood

Yea but flukey is going to mexico to catch a grande! Better check his schedule.
I'd have to say Clear Lake or Falcon. Tough choice.
Baccarac if we are going international.

Falcon with Big O would be #2 on my list. #1 would be with you on Lake Erie.
#3 Stick Marsh/ Farm 13 with George Welcome
This is a tough one as I have never been out west but FL is where the big girls live and specifically they eat how I love to catch them.
Lake St. Clair
Falcon, or Lake Fork.
I live in FL and all the lakes I want to fish are here in my home state... I live in north FL so taking a flight to south would that count? Lol it's a long drive
So I would have to take the trip to Lake Barracac, Mexico so I can put my double digit bass as my avitar like numerous members on the site lol. Or if I don't feel like dealing with customs I would take a trip to Texas and fish some of those lakes
depending on how much time you have after you get there. I would head to lake fork, tx as there about 4 more lakes within a couple of hours so not tied to one lake.
I Have been to Alaska for a fishing trip, I would definitely choose either Argentina for golden dorado or Brazil for peacock bass.
I am positive i will get to destinations in the US for bass fishing ( have been to florida) now just California!
Sturgeon Bay smallies
Clear-CA or Falcon-TX -largemouth
St.Claire-MI -smallmouth

Ah, good ole George. I want another shot at Stick Marsh myself!
Falcon lake for me. My dream trip.
X2 on Falcon Lake
Within the United States it would be Hawaii, but not for bass, I have them right in my backyard, I'd be going for giant trevally.
I've heard one of the best places for GT is the Great Barrier ReefOn 10/25/2013 at 1:56 PM, SirSnookalot said:Within the United States it would be Hawaii, but not for bass, I have them right in my backyard, I'd be going for giant trevally.
