Anybody heard anything from "The Rooster"? Haven't seen him on here in a while.
Hootie
I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Haven´t heard from Jimzee, Chris and Steezy for a long time too.
I'm still here if you need a new friend
Y'all heard from George Welcome?
I was wondering if he was still around when I reactivated. .......hmmm. ...

Just added you to my friends list. Can never have too many friends...lol.

I miss Muddy. I wonder where he's at these days.
You guys are referring to people I don't remember seeing that I didn't join till 2010.I have seen a few guys disappear since I've been on here. LgMouthGambler for one.

We should create a Shimano thread and bait him out from hiding.
I'm here *Hootie, don't feel lonely Bud! Every time I see your avatar, you've caught the same nice fish, but why you still wearing the blue sweat shirt in the summer?
Maybe some of the mods can update us on some of the guys who have disappeared.
George Welcome, hopefully, is in good health and will start to post once again.

That photo was taken by my son. But now he is working so much I have been fishing alone, and I take a lousy selfie. So, it's same old hoodie, same old fish.

Take and old time selfie, put you head on a copier and press copy, post it on here and make sure you #hashbrown it to all your friends here.
Jimzee is long gone.
Muddy is married and living in N. California.
Steezy changed jobs in early 2012 (last I heard from him).
It appears George Welcome has closed his guiding business and has thus quit posting on fishing forums, but he is still active on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/george.welcome.16.
I haven't heard anything from The Rooster.
I was wondering the same thing. Hadn't seen a few people in awhile.
"Ya know he ain't gonna die!"....
Oh.... nevermind.

I wondered about George too. People come and go. Catt, myself, Rolo, and others have disappeared for months at a time. Participating requires time that is taken by work and other responsibilities. Sometimes people just need to take a break. I was also wondering about Randall and paul. Both of these men used to post some major hawgs on here. I haven't seen Paul Roberts much either.
I spoke to Paul this past spring. I think he's in New Zealand? Something crazy like that.
I've always enjoyed the reports Paul Roberts wrote. Fun read.
He's a good guy. Too bad we never hooked up to fish when we lived minutes apart. Took an international forum to meet, lol.
I liked Muddy a lot, was in touch for while but that was years ago. Didn't know he moved to Northern California, nice place to be.
Snook, do you still keep in touch with bassn blvd? I know he hasn't posted in a long time.

Sorry to say no, we fished together a few times.........he's a good guy.
I always liked talking with jack Yates (fishfordollars). He was a great guy and super sharp! RIP brother.
The question on the sweater--has he ever taken it off?
Anyone heard from Fish Chris recently. He is notorious for coming and going these days. His ADD has him going full fledge into new projects. His photography, weight loss, strength training, and fishing.
Miss all of em
He must be too busy trying to break his, what ? 19 + lbs record ?On 8/16/2014 at 10:48 PM, BassCats said:Anyone heard from Fish Chris recently. He is notorious for coming and going these days. Here’s one mystery solved: I’m still around, sort of... I’m living in the Philippines. New Zealand?? Believe me, I wish!
While my wife teaches and our son attends school here, I’m spending my time writing and researching. I’m hoping to get some books out, working almost simultaneously on an archery book and one on bass. Also there’s one on deck on trout. And I’m putting together some material on human/nature connections, and observation skills.
Been in touch with Roger a bit (RoLo). He's on and off; You'll likely see him again. Good to hear Muddy's doing well.
Hey John, you know we actually met once, although neither of us knew it at the time. I was back east visiting my Dad and we stopped by one of my old haunts -that quarry on... . You were just getting your gear out to fish and I asked you about the place. It sure had changed, with the beavers in there. And it was public. Back when I fished it (in the 80s), it was private. Anyway, I didn’t know it was you until later when I saw a pic of you on BR. I’ve got family in Roch and Erie. Mebbe some day eh?
Nice to know I’m missed anyway. Thanks for the kind words folks. I do check in every now and then but am trying not to get sucked in too deep. I’m not one for short answers as many of you probably know. There are two bass lakes here on Luzon, and if I get there I’ll write a report –fish or no fish. Bass in tropical waters show some interesting limitations that help define them –or stretch that definition some.
Cheers, all!
New Zealand, Philippines, same thing, lol.
Good to hear from you, wish you all the best. Btw, there's no fish in that quarry!
Nice to hear from you, Paul. If you get a chance, fill us in on the bass fishing in the Phillipines.
I haven't seen a post from Kayakr in a long time either.
