I believe you have to place your order by the 1st of the month. So I think you're first box will be in October.
Can't wait! The last 2 boxes have been amazing!

AWESOME!!!!!!! BEST BOX YET! You guys are outdoing yourselves! Thank you for having more than 3 plastics in the bag, this 1 is bumped up to 5. The Rivers2Sea Swimbaits are amazing, Livetarget lipless Rattlingbait, RED, yes thats right people, RED Mustad Big Mouth Light Wire hooks but the best thing in the box is the De-Fishing Soap sample. I love the stink of fish on my hands but other people in my life don't, this soap is awesome!
Dibble Digest is awesome as well! Look forward to more of them!
spoiler alert haha^
I had to, this is an awesome box! I'm going fishing
Very awesome box. Like the fact the R2S swim baits are bass color. The Live Target lipless is great even though we don't have Tilapia up here, but with a little magic from JJs it will become the Bluegill Bass Trap. Keep it up MTB.
Oh by the way, is the Dibble Digest the something new?
I didn't get the de fishing soap d**n....but still loved my box.....I got all three services to see witch I liked more to get for a year...its a tough choice. and my lipless crank came in tilapia to. and I'm in ny would it still work as is?

The cutoff was the 1st, but we just sent you a PM.
I signed up for the first time and received my first Mystery Tackle Box. I'm happy with it. I like getting soft plastics from small companies and/or soft plastics I can't find in the local sporting goods store and this box included some cool soft plastics from those places. Plus, I like reading books/magazines on fishing because I still consider myself a beginning fisherman. That pamphlet/digest is pretty cool and will give me something to read when I'm relaxing at home. The hardbait is pretty cool too. Look forward to receiving more boxes this winter and spring!

Never got the PM.
I didn't get the soap either. No biggie.
I got a small bass and decent rainbow trout on the live target rattle trap and another small bass on the R2S shad swim bait within a couple hours.
This seems like a great box to nail the MTB slam on but I don't have any recording equipment. Love every bait in this box.
Thank you MTB!

Glad you liked the box! Not every box was the same and not every one had the soap. However if it was in your card and you did not get it please email us at support@mysterytacklebox.com
So I finally received my box for September. I must say at first glance this box blows the August box out of the water in terms of lures I will use and colors that will work well in my area. Although I might have found a new confidence bait in last months box that was really the only useful bait I received. I have tried the R2S Spittin' Wa frog a few times, and I intend to try the Freedom Football Jigs. I haven't had any luck with the buzzbait, and the YoMama craws, but I think that was due to the colors.
Now to the September box!
I am most excited to try the Live Target lipless crankbait. Let me just say this thing looks like it could swim on its own. As a new FW angler I am still searching for those 3-4 baits that are my "go to" baits. Lipless and squarebill cranks were on that list so I am excited to try out one that at first glance looks so good. I can't wait to try it out. The R2S Bottom Walker Shad looks really nice. It very closely resembles the baitfish in one of the ponds I frequent the most so it will be interesting to see how well they work. I have only tried one other pre-rigged swimbait and wasn't impressed. I am hoping these will work better. As far as the soft plastics, well what can I say they are soft plastics. As with all baits until I try them I won't know. I initially made the mistake of dismissing the Saturn Worms from last month and that was a mistake. It is the first bait that I have used that literally caught a fish on the first cast, and has done equally as well every other time I have gone there. So what I was ready to ignore has turned into absolute candy at one of my spots.
If I have one "complaint" about this months box is that the hooks I received a really just way to large for the software plastics I received. I know not all boxes are the same, and some of them came with larger baits than what I received, but I do think some more care needs to be put into providing baits, and appropriate sized hooks. Fortunately I already have hooks that will work, but if I were to receive a bait that required me to go buy a new hook or some other component I will be less likely to try it.
One last comment. I know a lot of people complain about receiving "sample" packs of lures in their boxes. Last month 2 out of 5 were samples, this month 3 out of 5. Although I understand when people make these comments I just don't agree. I subscribe to this service to get exposure to new baits not to stock my tacklebox. For instance, the YoMama craws I received last month. The color was wrong for me. If I had received a full 8 pack it would have gone to waste as I don't expect to spend a lot of time with them. I much prefer to received just a few of each so if they don't work very little is going to waste. If I like them then I can always buy more. The other side of that equation is the cost. If everything we received was a full pack then we would get few items. Receiving sample packs might seem like you are getting shorted, but at least in my case I didn't. I caculated out the cost for what I received and it was over $25. Let me say that again, 5 new items worth $25 for $15. You just can't beat that, especially when the box matches your fishing style or goals as well as this month did for me.
Thank you Mystery Tackle Box for providing an excellent service!
My box was great! A spinnerbait and a lipless for the fall is brilliant. I personally like the size of the hooks and I will say again that I love the sample packs. It gives MTB the opportunity to send several kinds for me to try.
took out my tilapia lipless crankbait today from shore and caught my first bass on a lipless. nothing to write home and brag about was very happy though.still trying to choose witch service to subscribe for a year. thanks MTB though!!!
Can we get a discount for a multiple membership?
I have 7 family members who fish. I been giving away one mystery box to one of them per month. I'd like to get 7 boxes per month. Since there all going to the same address maybe I can save $$ somewhere?
Was away in Canada all last week (Toronto). Came back to find my September box waiting for me. Plain and simply the best box Evah!!!!!
