In an upcoming issue of BAM, there is an Angler Up Close interview with the "West's Leading Money Winner" Gary Dobyns. If you've ever heard him in a seminar talk about Roboworms, you've heard him give the four colors he always keeps on board.
Most of us, have many, many colors, but if you had to only pick one, what would be your must-have color?
Black. I have never been anywhere where a black 4 inch senko couldn't catch a bass.
Something light, something dark, something in between. Color schmolor!
Black with blue flecks
4" black curly tail worm, green pumpkin pepper or watermelon pepper senko.
Watermelon Candy is a favorite of mine, along with Watermelon/Red Flake.
Watermelon Red. Never fails!
Watermelon Magic, can't go fishing with out it.
Gotta go with green pumpkin with or w/o sparkles
Mine would have to be light purple with black specs lol

Green pumpkin/red or junebug. I have many others, but those two are always close at hand. BPS Crawberry gets a lot of love too. I guess I have several "must have" colors...
Green Pumpkin/ Green Pumpkin Red
Magic Craw
Green Pumpkin
Green pumpkin is a must for me
Any color is great as long as it's Motor Oil. Of course if i could still find them, the Mister Twister Gold with the black core bloodline was an awesome color.
Green Pumpkin for soft plastics, Citrus Shad for crankbaits
wow toughy, gotta be some shade of watermelon though. watermelon: seed, candy, and red are favorites.
next in line is green pumpkin, then a black and blue/red or junebug
I'd spell it different but it's still my favorite! On 5/22/2012 at 12:14 AM, Michael DiNardo said:Grren Pumpkin.

Green pumpkin
green pumpkin
Black/Blue Flake
Something dark. Probably along the lines of black or green pumpkin.
cinnamon purple speed craw
Why do you guys always make us choose just one, these things are just like Lays potato chips... you can't have just one !!!
Green Pumpkin for me then.
Junebug
Almost all my bass have been caught on a junebug/plum color so id probally go with that.
Watermelon w/ black and red flake. But, not all bait companies make it. When they don't, it's watermelon w/ red flake. Black with blue, pumpkin with red, and a watermelon w/ copper flake/ Orange w/ red flake laminate sometimes get more action. But day in and day out it's watermelon w/large black, small red flake and watermelon w/ red flake for the brands that don't offer black and red flake.
Watermelon with any number of different flakes depending on the color of the body of water I'm on and the type, time of day.
1st - Green pumpkin.
2nd - black with blue flake
7.5" Red Shad, Basically all I use.
Falcon Lake Craw!
anything with the color combo blue and green.
Two favorites of mine are Okeechobee Craw and Rage Tails Blue Craw.
watermelon, green pumpkin, and junebug cover me...
tequila sunrise
Some shade of purple, some shade of green and black.
Tom
I always keep Green Pumpkin, and some form of Black (with or without flakes), and I also like baby bass and watermelon colors... I also pretty much exclusively use Gary Yamamoto baits... especially love the "kreature" bait to go along with regular senkos
Watermelon!

Bingo. I fish this color 10 times more than the other 100 options I have in the boat, combined. Mostly in a 8" vibe tail. You can fish it 10 different ways and it is effective in all of them.
Junebug

I totally agree. Shade is more important than color. I usually just buy what I think looks cool in a light, dark, and middle shade.
Watermelon with red flakes.
green pumpkin (+magic/blue fleck/green fleck etc)
Think I have to change my vote now... just caught my all time PB at 7lbs and 2 oz using a black and blue flake 5" Senko. For some odd reason, that's now my favorite color!
