Just a reminder for those of you contemplating the road trip. On March 15 the rooms we have blocked for the attendees will be released to to the general public.
It's go or stay home time for those of you sitting on the fence!

I will be avail. for only 5 days.....the world had KVD for 3 days and you all get ME for 5!!!!!!!

L- I was really looking forward to being down there this year, things just changed so quickly. What I didn't realize is what I was truly missing by not being in your cabin. I've been told you do excellent cleaning and cooking, I just wonder how you are at laundry?
All joking aside, guys (or gals), Procrafter is a friend that Glenn and Keri had to the road trip last year and he's one hell of a guy. He is staying in a cabin that I have held but now I and others from the cabin can't go. If you are going FOR SURE let Long Mike, or myself know and we can set you up with cabin beds. Just be advised that these cabins have no electronic security and Mike, RW, Burley, Speed, PK and others will be your neighbors for the week. You've been warned!

I can't take any more talk about the roadtrip. I feel like the little kid who has to stay home from vacation cause he has the chicken pox while the entire family goes to Disney.
Oh well, maybe next year. I can't wait for the pics and stories

I don't want to make any promises, so take this with a grain of salt. But as it stands today, there's a distinct possibility that Kevin VanDam, Gerald Swindle, Mike Iaconelli, and Dave Wolak will be making an appearance. Everyone wants to do it, and their sponsors are all for it. So now it's just a matter of if their schedules will permit it.
Again, no promises, but I wanted to let everyone know in case you decide not to go, and then find out later you missed out when you could have gone!

I wish I was on the fence, but I'm stuck behind it. This self-employed stuff were I have to be here every Monday to do client payrolls has me completely stuck.
I've got a local competitor wanting to know if I'm ready to retire yet as his daughter is getting out of school with her accounting degree. It's reading stuff like this that makes me think it is time to jump off the endless tax season hay ride.
Of course I might make it next year, I think I have a bar tab to take care of.

Fishing Rhino and myself have 1 maybe 2 beds avail in a cabin for those coming or riding the fence....the cost comes down with each person taking a bed so lets fill em up folks!!!
P.S......the 15th is coming fast so we either fill em up or have to move to a room at the inn....Cabins are funner!!!

I'm going to put in my two cents worth about the possible showing of the pros.
If they do, that's great. But my main interest in attending the road trip is to meet the guys and gals who post here on the forums.
The fishing is an attraction to be sure, but we have a relationship to one another, and in that relationship a bond, or fellowship.
You guys and gals mean more to me than KVD, Iaconelli, and all the others combined. Then again, celebrities have never held any type of fascination for me anyway.
No disrespect intended, but I would not go across the street to meet any or all of them. But, I will go to Tennessee, or further to meet the members who are attending.

This is pretty cool, I would love to attend. I guess I need to re-check my schedule. Is it Ok to come for only a couple of days? I know I can't take the whole week off! I just looked at the website, is there really only 16 registrants? Is that normal? I would love to come and fish with some of you guys.
