Shaw is a hoot. Never saw anyone who enjoys fishing as much as he does. "WOW, WHAT A PIG" I can hear him saying that already. He's like a kid in a candy store when he's fishing. Wished all of you friends here on Bass Fishing Forum could do this too, cause it's alot of fun. We will be filming for a couple of my new Rage Tail designs, that are coming out soon. Will mention Bass Fishing Forum while we're fishing but don't know if they will leave it in the footage. Will let yall know how it went after the trip. Hope it's not too windy. Good fishin

Will do, and thanks. I am fortunate, but I more consider it blessed. Any of us that get to go fishing with our friends on a regular basis are much more than lucky. Was suppose to fish with Big Mark Davis but he has babies at home and has been away for awhile on the Texas swing, Falcon and Amistad. Shaw said he would rather fish than breathe and I told him I would rather he do both. We're gonna try to light'em up, so I can't wait. I saw Shaw at the Richmond Fishing show this winter. I think he's one of the better tv hosts and he seems like a great guy. Let us know how it goes

Shaw will talk you ears off but I like him; fished with him before back in the late 70s & at the 2001 LOUISIANA TOP 150 PRO on Toledo Bend when day 1 was canceled we talked for hours about GPS.

What's the scoup on Rage Tail? Is it a division of Strike King or something? Just curious because I went to the site and saw the
Strike King logos and Shaw is sponsored by Strike King.

Right JT, Rage Tail is an exclusive series of soft plastic designs marketed and distributed by SKLCo. They just came out in Fall last year with the first four designs and coming out with several more this Fall. On the site, there are short video clips of the baits and usage etc. How has your season gone? I've been too busy designing to keep up with you guys. Good fishing!

Thats almost it Fluke but not quite, SKLCo is a great group to work with and provides alot of input and ideas for new designs. Great pool of knowledge to pull from. I was retired and now I'm back in the saddle again. But the rides more fun. Use to have to fish but now I get to fish. There is a difference you know. ;D

I remember thinking what an idiot he was at first. BUT NOW I love his show and DVR it every wek. You gotta love his enthusiasm! I don't know what I was thinking before...looks like I was the idiot.

No your not Hawgchaser, Alot of people think it's fake enthusiasm but with Shaw it is the real thing. He is just a happy person and all of the time. I wish everyone around me was so happy. But if you think about it, Shaw is not stuck to tournaments, which are grueling to say the least.
He gets to fish anywhere and everywhere he wants and anytime he wants to. Now you and I would run around squealing too, if we had those opportunities. Seems like a pretty happy lifestyle to me.

Did a TV show with Shaw on the Potomac River some 15 years ago. He truly loves to catch fish and gets excited about every one of them, regardless of how big or small. He is also a fantastic angler. I took him to my favorite hole, told him a little about why the fish should be there and he proceeded to outfish me 31-1.
His treatment of me on the show was one of the best things about him. I have done a lot of TV shows, but Shaw truly went out of his way to make sure that I got plenty of publicity for my guide service.
I know you will enjoy yourself as he will make sure of it.

please tell me this Shaw guy is the same person as Hank Parker. Ive seen this Hank Parker guy fish on TV and he sounds so much like the guy you are talking about. I even searched the Shaw guy and he looks like him, IMO.
