gonna start throwing more swim jigs this season oppesed to spinner baits n chatterbaits which the bass have come accustomed to n wondering what everyone is throwing behind their jigs size n color if possible
Zoom fat albert single tail grub..........green pumpkin, or Netbait 4" BK paddletail, same color.
I have had great success with a watermelon red flake zoom brush hog. I cut in two it right behind the front legs and thread it on. Works great with lots of action.
Rage Craw, Chigger Craw, grub, or a paddletail.
Watermelon Red or Green Pumpkin Rage Tail Baby Craw on a 1/4oz Bluegill color KVD swim jig.
rage chunk on a northstar jig!
Reaction Innovations Little Dipper 3.5" -
Gives the bait a nice little side to side shimmy/roll.
It's a little different action, but it's good.

I like the Yum Money Craw in the2.75 inch size. Color- Nest Robber or Ozark craw depending on low light or bright, stained or clear h2o.
I only buy them on sale because their hand painted and MSRP $6.99.
Picked up some @ Dick's Sporting Goods for $2.97 a pack on clearance to make room for the new Yum F2 line of baits. By the way the F2 Money Craws are no longer hand painted and only come in 3 1/2 inch.
Rage Tail Chunk or Baby Rage Tail Craw. Color usually to coordinate with the jig, but not always.
Keitech 3.8" Swing Impact fat. Ayu or Sexy Shad. Make sure you super glue them to the jig.
Kinami single tail grub in 3 or 4 inch lengths, match color to jig.
Later,
Lake Fork live magic shad. Gives the bait a nice profile.
Rage chunks and Netbait paca chunks
QuoteWatermelon Red or Green Pumpkin Rage Tail Baby Craw on a 1/4oz Bluegill color KVD swim jig.+1 on all of that!
Smallie Beavers make really good trailers for swim jigs. They are my favorite, along with GYCB twin tail grubs. The flat bottom of the beaver gives the bait an erratic action when you let it fall between twitches, sometimes even spiraling like a tube jig.

Yep, I'll have to agree with this. :-)
I've been using the 1/4 oz. OutKast swim jigs with a GYCB swim senko cut to size with great success. For both SM and LM.
hand poured white trailers
Got schooled pretty good on one outing last year by a friend using a 6" white ribbontail worm on the back of a white/chartreuse swimjig. Getting schooled by him was nothing out of the ordinary, he always catches more fish than I do, but that was the first time I ever saw that particular setup. Needless to say, I have some white 6" ribbontail worms to go with my white/chartreuse swimjigs for this season. I'm an old dog, but still trying to learn new tricks. ;D
Rage Tail Craw with about 1/4 in. to a 1/2 in. bit off of it in a color that matches the color of the jig.
sizmic toad jr.
Paddletail or Buzzfrog
LFT Live Magic Shad
YUM Money Minnow
ZOOM Fat Albert Single Tail Grub
The list also goes for Chatterbait Trailers
used and ripped hollow bodies previously on a keel weighted hook, threaded through the side.
