Personally, I would pick a culprit moccasin over any senko or yum dinger any day. Cheap for a pack, they last and I'm killing them on it here in Florida.
Rage Tail Recon Falcon Lake Craw
My favorite worm of all time are the Mann's Augertail worms in Electric Grape. I've fish them for years and they still catch me fish!
Zoom Trickworm watermelon gold flake.
Zoom Trickworm black
At this very moment, my favorite is a Powerbait 7" Power Shaky Worm in Pumpkinseed. The main reason being that I sneaked out of work early today and hit up a couple local ponds. No monsters, but I caught several nice fish in the 12-14" range. I had it wacky rigged with a Gamakatsu FIness Wide Gap hook and no additional weight. It also happened to be the first time I've caught bass on a plastic worm, so that might have something to do with it.
Powerbait 7" in pumpkin green or blue fleck.
5" Senko in Junebug is my all time favorite, close seconds are Havoc Juice Worm Jr. in California, and Zoom Shakey Head in Watermelon
Culprit 7.5" Fat Max in green pumpkin.
Zoom Trick Worm in white or watermelon candy rigged weightless w/an Owner 4/0 straight-shank worm hook.
Zoom's U-tail in gourd green works best for me, texas rigged w/ 1/8 or 3/16 oz weight. weightless texas rigged Senko 4" or 5" in Watermelon/copper flake orange are my 2nd choice.
River Rock Baits 5.25" Stick in Black Neon or Penn Melon Flash, those are the real deal.
Zoom Trick Worm Watermelon Candy 3/0 or 4/0 round bend with a 1/4 oz bullet weight
If I don't include stick worms, it's probably a toss up between zoom trick worms and rage tail recon worms
I don't fish worms much anymore, but years ago the powerbait ribbon tail in tequila sunrise was a killer! We would rip thru a couple packs a day, and go home stinking like powerbait.
roboworm
Overall, Zoom is the brand and watermelon or green pumpkin magic red are my most used colors.
I do like zooms a lot but they seem flimsy to me.
Berkley Power Worm Red Shad -- Culprit June Bug -- Wal-Mart's Old Renegade Tequila Sunrise still got plenty of 'em.
Grande bass rattlesnake in junebug red flake
Clear water: 5" Senko (Bubble Gum)
Stained: 5" Senko (Plum w Emerald Flakes)
I'm split between two colors:
Watermelon Magic and Hot Pepper Frog (BPS Stik-O).
They've been "money" colors for me, but there have been a number of other colors that have caught me lots of fish.
GYCB "plum apple"
Bass Pro stick-O 4.25'' in Blue Craw and Trigger X Hammer Worm 10'' in Purple Shad.
Mine would have to be zoom finesse worm in watermelon red. I have not been fishing long but i have caught quite a few on these.
Havoc Bottom Hopper in shady watermelon candy
Rage Tail Cut-R is on fire!
Zoom trick worm, bruised banana!
It's a tie for me, Zoom Finesse Pumpkin and Gulp Nightcrawler Black.
Although I absolutely cannot find the black nightcrawler in stock anywhere near me. I have looked in every store I have stopped at just to look for them and can never find them. I picked up some in the 'natural' color and they don't seem to have the same magic in them. The original ones I found in black were on super sale at cabelas on an end cap.
zoom trick worm weightless, watermelon with chartreuse tail.
I used to fish the senko a lot more, but for some reason this year I'm really digging the zoom trick worm in goose berry, and purple (forget the actual name) roboworms especially on the drop shot
Wow, really...no one has said my all time favorite yet
Zoom Ultravibe Speed Worm in Green Pumpkin or Junebug Red
A 10 Inch Black Berkley Power Worm.
And when used with a 1/4 oz black tungsten bullet weight - it's called The Johnny Cash.
A-Jay
Zoom trickworm watermelon red
6 in senko watermelon blk flk. And roboworm 6 in morning dawn and oxblood red flk.
Zoom trick worm ,black.
5in Senko weightless any dark color but I do like the smoke silver blue laminate as an alternative.
My finesse worm that I pour! :-)
Since this thread is still hangin around, I'll ammend my response. I'm still a fan of the Berkeley power shaky worm in pumpkin, but I've been really successful with Zoom U-Tales on a c-rig lately. I think the color I've been using is pumpkinseed.
BPS ribbon tails in Texas red or Yum F2 ribbon tails in black with red fleck.
Stick O, Okeechobee Craw
Zoom trick worm...June Bug
Mike
