Well just like the topic says if you could have one lure to fish with what would that lure be? I would have a spro little John 1/2 oz. :) :)
1/4 oz Texas rigged trick worm.
Its funny everytime I reply to one of these posts I have a different answer lol
Jig - Just because it's versatile and usually catches larger fish
*** Crazy Blitz in white with a Keitech Swing Impact trailer in the same color
Plastic worm, unless I only get 1 of them. The exact model seems to change for me every few months.
I don't think its possible to fish with only one lure, but I'll go with a jig.
Zoom fluke stick
Smoke silver Biffle bug on a hard head.
custom spinnerbait
Rapala Original Floating Minnow.
I wouldn't fish
3/8 jig with rage craw trailer
Tube, Swimjig, trick worm, oh wait.. That's three, looks like Iam DQ lol..

Same answer every time..............a bucktail jig, from peacocks to bill fish and everything in between.
Easily a jig , summer , winter , fall , spring , Go stand by some cocktail shrimp and see how long you can go before you look like a bass staring at it from a few feet away .

That would be my second choice for sure, it works great on the walleyes and largemouth up here.
For me it is hands down a jig-n-pig. If it is truly only one lure then it would be a 3/8oz black/blue.
1 just for the fun of fishing it? Keitech Swing Impact Fat.
1 just to flat out catch fish? Carolina Rig with a Zoom Speed Craw.
Zoom utail.........
I guess I'll go with the Senko since I catch most of my fish on that.
Rapala original floating minow
Jig and rage chunk
A Shad Rap in Helsinki Shad or the X-Rap 10 in Olive. Either one would do.
A black and blue jig. It works year round.
Yellow shallow running crank bait with rattles
For fun - Shallow crank (I'd also go with a spro little john)
For catching #'s - Soft plastic (senko style)
Have to be a Jig & Craw ~
A-Jay
I'd get one of those giant Rapalas, hang it on the wall, and quit fishing. One lure = torture.
I would quit haha
I'm in the 3/8 oz. black & blue jig camp. We should pick one day a year to only bring 1 rod and 1 bait out and see how well we all do. Glen picks the day. Let's call it " let us never forget our roots day or something". Sorry guys I have too much time on my hands sometimes. Who's in!!!!????
My roots would be a crankbait. Didn't start jigging until ten years or so ago.
Senko (genuine), or a BPS Stick-O.
The Ned Rig....but a bucktail jig would be a very close second.

Dropshot roboworm and tube.
jig
Another tough one.
An old school split shot rigged 6" creme black worm, it's late 60's / early 70's
Tactics that still produces today it's the old faithful of baits.
I never forget my roots and what started it all back then. Well watching Jerry McKinnis helped me too. Plus my older brother was my mentor.
Roots. Hmmm. My roots go back to a farm pond and the Bass Oreno plug. I bet if I had one of those old plugs I could still catch bass on her. Those were good days. I lost my last one to a very energetic bass. My plug was dangling over a limb on a laydown about a foot out of the water. I was working on getting it free, the whole while it was jigging up and down in the limbs of the laydown. That was when a feisty 3 or so pounder came up out of the water and took the lure. Snapped the snag and the line. Those were my first lures. I wish I still had one of them for old time sake.
If I could ONLY fish one lure ever again, it would be a silver and black broken back Rapala. J-9. I don't do as well in the lakes with it as I do in the creeks and rivers, but absolutly my overall favorite.
If it's purely lake fishing, then a Zoom Super Fluke in Smokin Shad (I think that's the color).
either a spinnerbait or a plastic worm, can't decide which
If I could only "have" one lure it would be a Roman Made swimbait.
If I could only "fish" one bait it would be a 5" senko type bait.
Swimjig
Plastic.
