There is NO room whatsoever in my tackle box for my plastics. I was wondering a cheap but affective way of getting your plastics around with you while you fish.
Thanks
I use a backpack

Yep. I throw everything in a backpack. Including food and a drink or 2.

There are several variations and brands,
but this is THE solution:

I just went to wally world for 6$ and got a plano box that is perfect for all my plastics. Fits a ton of them and has a nice cary handle. I grab that and my small FLW gear bag that has 4x medium planos and 1 small double sided I use for terminal tackle. Messing with sealable bags thrown into a bigger bag is just unorganized to me.
BPS worm binder
Cabela's backpack. Keep an eye out for sales, got mine for $25. Great pack.

Get an duffle bag. The size of the bag should depend upon how many plastics you have.

Really wish I hadn't clicked the link. On the bright side, I got some more sweet gear that I don't need on the way!
I use two FTO speed bags, a small and a double. Each has a matching size Plano box with the hooks and weights that go with those baits.
I like to keep all of my plastics in the bags they come in, so I have a few tupperware type containers that I label the top of. One for worms, one for creatures, one for trailers, etc....I carry them in a regular tackle bag.
I know this isn't the point of this thread, but...I have recently been doing a lot of wade fishing... And my favorite tacklebox for this? Believe it or not, it's a simple pair of multi pocketed Cargo Shorts. I can go with one rod, a pack of hooks and weights, and about fifteen bags of plastics in my various pockets...

Cargo shorts rule.
A Fanny Pack..... ;D
Great for fishing from shore.
I keep all of my plastics in 2 BPS Double Sided Large Binders. I keep all of my plastics in their original bags then just place them into the Double Sided Binders zip lock bags. This way I can easily store more then 1 bag of plastics per zip lock bag. Lets me squeeze more into each binder this way.
Later,
I knew a guy in Wasington who carried a six pack in his backpack and a small fly box in the pocket. He caught a lot of fish and had a lot of fun. Maybe we should carry more beer and less lures!

Don’t you have a boat? Thought you had a 20’ Ranger??
It really depends on where I'm going and how much plastic I'm carrying. I might put a couple of bags in my pocket, the knapsack works well most times, as do those plastic totes. For larger and salt water ones on the boat, I have one of those plastic cleaning product tote things. They have 2 compartments and a handle. Keeps everything in one place and out of the way. I have been known to throw them in a trader joes bag or such. Organization is not one of my strong points though, fishing, yes....
I keep them in the orig package then in gallon zip locks labeled for worms, craws, flukes etc. Put them all in an old case for a laptop (it was free), a back pack would probably work good too, but i'm cheap.
A separate bag . I've used those inexpensive cloth bags from groceries stores .

This post is 8 yrs old. @thinkingredneck keeps dragging up old topics Lol I try to check the date when I see a new thread to see if it's one someone brought up from the grave.....and I'm sure it's fine to do that but I check so I don't get confused.
Lol...wow, that’s OLD!
Sorry to be confusing. Some good topics in the archive
I carry lots of baits with me. I have two 9606 split roof boxes one for topwater baits, one for crankbaits. My third box is for weedless smaller split roof box, my next tackle box is for plastics. I was carrying seven tackle boxes, then down to five, now down to four. It's hard to leave anything home. Now I purchased Plano 3400 plastic boxes to line them up in the bottom of the 9606 split roof boxes. Maybe I expanded too much.
on the motorcycle I carried those velcro bait raps and a telescopic rod with a zebco reel under the seat.
