What is your favorite bass lure
Blue/ black arkie jig w/ matching berkley chigger crawl trailer
3/8oz swim jig *New Gill* from NorthStar with a Rage Craw in Bama Craw.
This certain type of frog that I will no longer publicize so they are still on the shelves when I go to my local tackle shop
The kind that catches bass....
Grande bass rattlesnake in junebug red flake
A stick of dynamite... Works especially well for those tough days
My favorite to fish is by far a walking topwater. Its just flat out fun to fish and catch fish on. My top lure is a green pumpkin senko, I know they are for "newbs" but they have caught more fish than anything else for me in the summer months. I do like a good spinnerbait/shallow crank bite in the spring/fall though, seems to produce very well when they want moving baits.
For me it's a toss up between the Banjo minnow and the Flying lure.

Rebel BIG CLAW crawfish crank.
Mepps Anglia #3 silver blade Brown tail
Rapala original floater #7 blue or black minnow.
Joe's flys 1/4oz in firetiger apache, glotiger, blackgnat.
Mister Twister Comida, Senko, BPS Stik o worm.

1/8 oz. Spinner bait blue glimmer skirt, white mister twister split double tail grub trailer.
1/8 oz. Spinnerbait chartreuse skirt, chartreuse mister twister split double tail grub.
Don't forget a trailer hook and the yum shad scent or bass scent.
These are just a few I find that all lures will catch fish sooner or later.
Price, easy question with a difficult answer.
In reality, our favorite bait is the productive one on the day we are fishing.
With so many baits in the marketplace it is almost impossible to give you our favorite.
The answer is even more complicated when you throw in your geographical area, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, ponds, bank fishing and boat fishing.
I have a Bandit 200 I love. It has produced many beautiful bass. The last time out it produced nothing!
I have a KVD Sexy Shad that was dynamite on the Potomac River two years ago. This last outing on the Potomac this past June brought no strikes.
On the Historic James River I throw a favorite Norman. It got no strikes when I fished it on the Historic James River's tributary, the Chickahominy River two weeks ago.
We can give you list after list of our "favorite" baits but they may not apply to how you fish or the conditions in Florida and vise versa.
And then there are our "secret" baits that only we know and use and do not share with others.
The pros "favorite baits" are the ones their sponsors give them to hawk. So when Ike says he loves Havoc you have to remember he is getting paid and receiving freebies to advertise Havoc. Same with all of the pros. If you receive any bass publications you see Denny Brauer selling everything Strike King. Doesn't mean he uses it; it means he is trying to get you to buy it for Strike King.
If you want to take another whack at your post how about asking "What are your Specific Baits by Type or Category that Produce for You?"
We can then tell you about our spinnerbaits, crankbaits, Chatterbaits, topwaters, jigs, pigs, stick baits, trick worms, finesse worms, flukes, brush hogs, lizards, creature baits, specific rigs, etc.
As I said, easy question difficult answer. With the exception of MIbassin who must fish in Louisiana with the Cajuns!!!!
As a class, jerkbaits. Specifically, Megabass Ito Vision 110 FX Tour Premium
Senko
Considering that the pros use Senkos as well I wouldn't let anyone tell you they are for "newbs". Hell, I used them in a tournament last weekend and they got me second place. If that's an amateur's lures I'll take the judgment any day...and the money that came along with it.
At any rate, green pumpkin and watermelon Senkos in 4" and 5" are my favourites. Outside of that I'll take cranks or spinnerbaits.

jigs and weightless finesse worms
Swimbaits, crankbaits & jigs.
Kinami Palm Trees
This summer I've really gained confidence in any kind of creature bait! I'll texas rig em and fish them around weed beds, and laydown logs. Seems like they'll get bit any time I'm on the water. Frogging is also a favorite of mine when the conditions are right.
Jig.
10" or 12" black Power Worm, any Strike King crankbait, Shakey head with MegaStrike e2 head...and many more!
Btw, have fished both the Banjo Lure and Flying Lure. Banjo is a Fluke-type bait with a different rig, not a big deal. Flying Lure works as advertised, nothing else like it, but have to fish it on a SLACK line or will not work!
Walking baits and buzzbaits, I couldn't pick just one, love both.
Probably a jig with a trailer.
spinnerbaits
I'm still experimenting with different lures and trying to gain confidence on any given one. Still haven't developed my go to lure for my local watering holes. But so far wacky worm, and trig worms/paddletails have been most productive for me. But I'm still at that stage of "lets try this and see what happens". However, for my annual Canada trip Doctor Spoons are the real deal. Have never let me down for pike. Also like the Jake Lure for pike and walleye out there. I have definitely established confidence in those two lures. Hopefully I'll find my bass slayer soon.
jig
creature/craw
fluke/senko
I don't go through as many plastics fishing jigs w/ tailers as opposed to creature w/ bullet weight.
Mend-It helps too!
When my go to's fail, I bust out a white spinnerbait for some casting practice.
Lately its been a chartreuse/white booyah buzzbait.
I dont know if you consider a trailer a lure, bit Iv always loved the bama craw Rage craws.
