Alright, I'm looking for a specific squarebill. I have a tournament in early April on a lake called potoka, and I expect the water to be about 55 degrees plus or minus 5 degrees. It also tends to run a but stained from what I've heard, around a foot or two most likely. There's also a lot of pressure on the lake, so you have to fish a little differently than everyone else. So I'm looking for a good shallow diving squarebill that has a somewhat narrow wobble cause of the temperature, with some sound cause the mud, but it needs to be a little different sound than most. I'm thinking a lower, one knocker type sound maybe. Do you guys know of any that fit the bill?
The top bait is a 6th Sense Crush Flat X75 squarebill ~
This is the bait you've described - look it up.
Killer bait - at least for me.

If you´re looking for a tight wobble and a more discreet sound look no more:
The Spro little John is your bait.
Not sure if it exactly fits the “squarebill” category, but I’ve had great success the last year or so with the Rapala scatter rap crank. Tight wobble, fairly quiet, and it has that weird “kick out” that seems to turn followers into eaters.
I second that ! On the 6 sense 75 x
X2 on the 6th sense crush flat x75 or the Ima square bill. You can’t go wrong with either of those.
Rapala Crankin Rap . Discontinued , inexpensive and still available online with a "tight" action but not a one knocker . Its not loud , sounds like there are two to rattles in it . It works real well in cold , muddy water .
Another vote for 6th sense
Sounds a lot like a discontinued Rick Clunn Thunder Shad. I've got a bunch in bright chartreuse/purple back. Made of cedar with a subtle wobble. No rattles, but my best tournament ever was fishing one in water dirty enough to plow. Remember, bait fish don't get louder just because the water is dirty.
Thanks for all of the replies. Definitely going to pick up a 6th sense flat, looks awesome for what I'm going to use it for.
The 6th Sense Crush Flat X75 is a solid choice. They are currently on sale for $4.99 as well.
Ya really want what no one else is throwing?
Bill Lewis Echo 1.75™
Full Bodied Sound: with a Low-Knock & High-Rattle
"$4.99"
Is it a secret?

Caught a majority of my crankbait bass on that very same bait in the same color scheme, bit more red though. Lost it to a pickerel. I wasn’t a happy camper.
Will you actually get in trouble here for saying where you bought something?
Just google ‘6th sense 75x sale’ and it comes up pretty quickly. Second page I think. I picked up 4 this morning. Thx for the heads up.
My best finesse crankbait is a LC BDS 1.2 in Ghost Minnow.

Without getting into the psychology, game theory or fractal models, going with the most mentioned bait in this query probably wont lead to "using something different". This is not to say that the 6th sense isn't a good bait or won't work well for you. In addition to the original LC RC1, the Combat Crank, and Aska do well for me early in the season (as well as most other times).
"Now was that so hard"
Thanks. That site didn't show up on the first 2 pages of my google search yesterday. Heck, most of the first 2 pages were full price ebay listings. Even today that site's listing doesn't mention 'sale' even when I use the word in the search.
They even had some of my favorite colors - chrome shiner, chartreuse threadfin & shad sense. I got 3 for me and 3 for my buddy who has a seemingly endless supply of line and 10.5" worms. Of course, if my 3 work really well he may never get all of his. He'd do the same for me, even after 40 years.

True, but I honestly haven't seen anyone throwing the 6th sense flat around here. A lot of times, lure popularity is regional. I'll look into those cranks you mentioned tho, thanks again all for the replies.
Most of you guys know darn well that if the SPAM filters change your post to "Another Site," it is because of just that: SPAM. Would you prefer our site to be littered with spam, or useful information? Agree or disagree, we work very hard to keep this place full of unbiased information from everyday anglers, not some sponsored pro. It's not just one company, either. There are several.
I have not handed out any warnings, but I will if side stepping the filters continues.
As far as a shallow running bait in the conditions the OP describes, I like a Luck Craft LC Wake, in the larger size.

At the top of the page there is literally a button that restates the FAQs and Rules that you agreed to when you signed up. You aren't getting a 30 day time out for making a simple mistake. In fact, the only time we hand out a 30 day time out is for repeat, or more serious offenses.

Yeah, I saw that after I submitted my post which is why I then deleted it. I looked for 15 minutes and didn’t see what was right in front of me. My bad.

The reason I recommend the flat X75 is because it really does work I’m not a big six sense fan I don’t like there square bills that everyone raves about but the flat75 has actually been productive for me in cold water it’s a good bait I like it.
1/4 ounce Luhr Jensen Speed Trap. It's a west coast thing I guess.
