Yeah...my dad was/is hardcore about Bass fishing. He buys stuff and forgets about it. I'll get pictures of the rods soon. I even found my old fishing jacket...we're framing it and putting it on your wall!  ;)

fishing user avatarguest reply :

Too bad.

This was starting to turn into a real fun thread?  ;)

fishing user avatarT-rig reply :

I can see!!!  8-)

Some of those lures look well used!

fishing user avatarSam reply :

Congrats on your inheritance.

You may have found a gold mine.

Treasure it all!

fishing user avatarLow_Budget_Hooker reply :

Phenx- The glass cases for jerseys are awesome.  My mom has a few for my old US freestyle uniforms.  Great way to display classic clothing.

Cool collection, somebody has to get dad up to date,...wait till he holds a chronarch mg on a Loomis, he's gonna think he just drank a red bull.

Catch 'em up on your trip guys and keep it safe.

fishing user avatarInfidel. reply :

Dude, hold on to those Fat Raps!  I would kill to have a collection of those.  I have one of those Black Maxx reels.  They last forever.  You could upgrade to something newer but those reels will last longer.  Don't let them go.

fishing user avatarVaBass80 reply :

I agree hold on to those CBs, i've found a few of those older crankbaits at garage sales and still use a few of them.  Something about those older baits that really catch fish, nice stuff!

fishing user avatarThe_Natural reply :

How much do you want for those Rogues?!  I'll trade you two new Lucky Crafts for the two unopened Smithwicks if you are interested...

fishing user avatarMunkin reply :

Do a search on ebay and look at what some of that kind of stuff is selling for? I was bidding on one of those Fat raps with a chartuese back and it sold for like $26. Since a lot of that stuff is discontinued you may not want to fish with it?

Allen

fishing user avatarRedlinerobert reply :

Mark,

I need to tell your dad that you're hawking his stuff on BassResource.  Maybe he'll pay me a finders fee with one of those classic reels.  ;)

fishing user avatarBluecraw reply :

...hey, those FR-7 Fat Raps are worthless and don't catch any fish  ::).....might as well just throw them out....or just send them to me  ::)....I'll take care of it for you..... ;)

fishing user avatar.IusePhenixRods. reply :

My dad has ton more stuff that we're going to go through soon. He buys new reels every so often. Some of those Abu's haven't even had line on them yet. Same goes for those Fat Raps. Can't wait to get out on the water with my salt & peppers!  ;)
