fishing user avatarTizi reply :

From my browser, the wish list is gone....anyone else experience this?

1st sign of the Apocalypse

fishing user avatarMN Fisher reply :

I sent an E-Mail to their support on Saturday - got this response yesterday

"Thank you for contacting Tackle Warehouse. Due to technical issues with our wish list we have turned it off until we can rectify the situation. As soon as it is available we will have it up and running. We apologize for any confusion and thank you for your patience.  Please e-mail info@tacklewarehouse.com or call 1-800-300-4916 and one of our customer service representatives will be happy to help if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for choosing Tackle Warehouse."

I am amazed at both how long it took TW to even offer a wishlist and how poorly the one they came up with is.  This isn't some brave new frontier of online retail they are struggling with.  Their website is generally pretty good too, which makes it even stranger.

I though the one they had was pretty good myself - I had three different ones set up and adding to the one of my choice was fairly simple. Not really any different than separate wish-lists on Amazon.

fishing user avatarTizi reply :

Agreed, Amazon is the standard online for sure.  TW does a pretty good job in my opinion, the wish list deal maybe should have been advertised on their site?

The lack of an option to make a shopping cart into a wishlist and vice versa is my biggest beef.  The $50/Free Shipping deal is such a good fit for that kind of option I don't see how they don't offer it.

The lack of an option to make a wishlist or save a cart at TW saved me a ton of money in years past.

fishing user avatarBronzeback23 reply :

Had a mini heart attack when I went on and seen all three of my wishlists gone. I had been getting my tackle resupply list for the year together and had over 100 items that I added whenever I realized I was out and would’ve taken me forever to re add and remember everything. So I called and turns out they are having problems with their website and it should be up shortly without losing your wishlists. The tech support guy told me I was the 20th one to ask him the same question. Lol

Okay, the e-mail I got didn't mention this. As I had a number of items in my three wishlists, I'm relieved that I won't lose the information...rebuilding them would have been a nightmare.

He seemed pretty confident we should be alright. Hopefully he wasnt just feeding me a line since he had been asked so much!

Good to hear, I had a spring order list that would have been kind of annoying to lose.

fishing user avatarChunk_Chaser reply :

I had the same issue. When the wish list option returned mine was gone. That was a lot of searching down the tubes!

I'm still not seeing the wish list on the main page.

fishing user avatarChunk_Chaser reply :

I’m not sure if it makes a difference but I always use my phone for TW.

Just checked again. Option is there but when clicked says file not found. Maybe I still have hope....

Go to there website home page from a computer. There is a headline in the news section that says the wish list is under construction. All of you that think you have been saving money forget it. The bait monkey is waiting to pounce on you.

I’m new here but not new to the monkey. Her grip is strong!!

I can view my wishlist and all of the items are still there. I still can’t add to my wishlist—unless I am doing something wrong.

I just checked - wishlist intact from prior to down-time. I can also add to any of my wishlists. This is on a desktop - if you're on the mobile app it might be a little longer.

Thanks for checking, I am on mobile.

fishing user avatarRevival reply :

Wishlist on mobile working again.

Edit: Previous wish lists visible but not able to add to it yet.

I will agree when it comes to spending money................no "his" can beat a "her"

fishing user avatarpauldconyers reply :

Can anyone confirm that the TW wish list is back up and actually working? I do not want to waste a bunch of time marking items all for naught. If it is working will it "save" those items forever as it were or do they expire?

It's working fine now, and the items I had on mine before the drop came back...so anything you had on it before it 'disappeared' should still be there.

Do items drop off after a month or something?

I'm not sure about that...haven't had anything on my list(s) for more than a month before purchase.
