wantn to pick up maybe a few. r these worth the cost? or just stick to norman and rapala
Yes they are worth every penny. There durable and the colors are great.
The squarebills certainly are.
Yes, they are really good. Go pick some up!
I only buy Lucky Craft jerkbaits and top water baits. I'm not really familiar with their crankbait line up. I do have a bunch of RC 1.5s which I bought on clearance.
The fish will tell you what they're worth.
I have some cheaper baits that catch and I have some more expensive baits that catch.
I also have some of both that do not catch but Most of my LC Baits are very good.
All except the Live Pointer - that one really wangs . . .

I agree, the square bills are very good, I bought one and have caught a boat load with it but I'll just stick to my KVD 1.5's for now considering the price difference because they both catch fish.

I never knew "wangs" was a verb. Just thought it was a plural noun
I think so.
I like buying LC because there good right out of the box they come with super strong hooks and they run true right out the box.
The pointers are the best I have ever used and worth every penny.... Cranks? I use cheaper that work fine... But that pointer is the deal!
btd has sale on em so i picked up 4 shallow to mid cranks. colors i got were aurora blk. orig tennessee shad. american shad. chartreuse shad.
imo- no!

Great colors. Lucky Craft is my favorite hard bait company. Great color patterns, great designs, good hardware, durable and very consistent.
The short answer is yes, Lucky Craft baits are worth the money.

As far as their cranks go, I really like the shallower running baits. The BDS series in all sizes are good. The KVD cranks are a good buy for the money as well, just don't have as much confidence in some of their colors.
That's a question only you can answer. No doubt, Luck Craft makes top-shelf quality baits that catch bass with the best of them. But so will many others.
Personally, I won't pay the price for new ones, but then, I'm a cheap old codger. All of the LCs that I have, I've bought used in the Flea Market section for half of retail or less.

the ones i bought are the skeet reece mr and dr and a mini mr and a LC 1.5.
Gunfish and Sammies are certainly worth the ~$16 tag.
Much has been written about Lucky Craft lures and many bass anglers have developed a great deal of confidence fishing them.

I've ticked a lot of money away in my lifetime, but it won't ever be on LC baits. I just can't justify buying those when cheaper options have yet to fail me. Plus, it's easier to lose a $6 crank as opposed to an $18 crank.
For that money they should not only catch fish, but gut, clean and scale them for ya.
btd has em on sale for $11 i figured they wldnt get any cheaper than that for brand new so i fogured id try a few
Well that depends, while they are built very well (personally I use to buy them), IMO I think they are REALLY over rated. I just stick with Norman lures for my plastic cranks and to replace the lucky craft R.c squarebills (Which is now the LC series) I swapped over the Luck -E- Strikes RC2 series.
All lucky craft products r worth the $ in my opinion. Pointers r GREAT!
I think the regular cranks are worth the money but I have never had much luck with the ones that are sponsored. I have some that are 8 years old, get fished all the time and still look great. I can't say that about many of the other crankbaits I have, including megabass.
If I only could take 1 hard bait on the boat it would be LC Pointer 78 Ghost Chartruse Shad. The cheap one don't seem to work as well for me. Try it you'll like it!
The pointers will outfish other jerkbaits a majority of the time in the lakes around here in my experience.
I love the way that LC lures look, they are amazing. With that said, I have never fished with one. I fish stained to muddy water so I can't just justify paying so much for a lure that the fish isn't going to really see. Strike King cranks flash just fine and are only 5 to 7 bucks each. If I had clearer water that I fished more often, I would probably drop the money and try out LC cranks since in clearer water the fish can see the awesome design and colors.
