Just seen this on the bassmaster site looks pretty good anyone seen or tried it in person yet
Haven't yet but it's supposed to have pretty sweet action. As for Skeet saying it's an original that he designed it doesn't look like they changed anything from the Little Creeper All American Trash fish other than the colors.

I'm not complaining, I've wanted to try one for a long time and now I will actually be able to afford them.
That's exactly what I thought of it at first also then i seen it was a havoc bait and I knew I could actually afford it and not feel bad when a pike nabs it.
Except you only get two per pack, so you'll have to buy at LEAST 4 bags to have enough to last a good day of fishing.

I'd much rather pay 3.49 a pack for 4 packs than 15.99 a pack like the original trash fish cost. If they are as durable as most Havoc baits have been for me then they should last fairly well, probably will depend a lot on how they are rigged and fished. Either way I'm fine with buying several packs if they're catching fish.
From my understanding, skeet pressured the owner of the trash fish to give him rights to that particular mold and obviously won. He didn't design that bait at all. Ill stick with the original trash fish. Softer, ton of action, and they flat out catch fish.
Are they for sale yet? They say 'out' at TW.
I don't think they are until October but not exactly sure
Anybody know when these are due in? TW has been saying 12/24 on the website, and I just ordered 9 packs that are saying they'll be in on 1/16.
BPS has all 3 sizes listed, but they also look like they're out of stock. I started with the 4", but the smaller size seems right up my alley.
It's 2.99 for two 4 inchers and the same price for 5 3 inchers. Not a bad price at all if they produce
Just got a notification from TW that my 4" order of 9 packs of Sick Fish have been packed and will be out for delivery soon.
The 3.5" packs that I ordered from Bass Pro still say "On Backorder" but I've got plenty of time before I'll be able to use them on the water around here, and I'll just be excited to see what they look like in person.
I gave the sick fish a try and they were great! Good fish catchers, good price, and good action. The only thing is the plastic is not too durable but it's semi-durable.
Also if you want a faster action or have the bait keep the good action at a faster speed clip the little thing coming out the boottail!

Where did you find them already? Every place I've seen them has been back ordered.

TW had them for a minute on 12/24 before they sold out. Lots of people wanting to try a proven fish catcher for a fraction of the price.
I ordered mine at TW before they were out
Nice. What was your favorite way to rig them? Weightless, keel weighted hook, jig head?
You can get them at TW now.
The Sick Fish is a copy of the Little Crippers Trash Fish, Berkely has a agreement and Reese worked on the deal. The mass produced Sick Fish isn't the same plastic as the low production Trash Fish.
The Trash Fish is a great swimbait because it can be fished extremely slow or faster and have good swimming action. If the Sick Fish can duplicate some of the Trash Fish action it should be a good lure at a reduced price.

Everyone else probably got this but it went over my head, when you say clip the bootail do you mean cut it off or split it ? Thanks

When you get some there will be a small piece of plastic coming out the boottail. Just cut it off for a faster action!

No Problem!
Any luck to people using these lures?
Just got the 4" version in from TW yesterday, and they do look SICK! I'm still waiting for the smaller version to come in from BPS; weird that BPS offers something that TW doesn't.
Anywho, won't be able to try them for awhile, but I cannot see how they won't kill the bass.
What would be a good way to hook the 3in sick fish???

On a very small jighead...

I use the 3" nose hooked on a drop shot.
People must not fish quality baits these days, if you think these are not durable then you are crazy, or you are not rigging them properly! I think they have okay action, if you like a slow retrieve then I don't think this is the bait for you, don't even think of fishing in cold water; if you bend the fins or if they incur any deformities they run like crap, but that can easily be fixed with boiling water.
I purchased a bunch on pre order, I will probably never fish them as soon as I threw a keitech on I just cannot go back to the sick fish.
Will these catch fish, of course but I think there are a number of choices that will out perform these.
I used it again today, 3 fish caught in less than20 casts in different lakes. One went 4lbs 5ozs, these flat out work for me. The same bait is still being used and still looks unscathed. The fish have been inhaling these baits.I'd buy more but I'm still on the first.
I got some 3" ones and put them on a 3/32oz jighead, it's a sweet looking little set up. Planning on tossing it for some trout and walleye and wouldn't be surprised at all to catch some big crappie on it.
