Large Worm Brands? 2024

fishing user avatarNMUbassin reply :

I'm wanting to start fishing some bigger worms this year and test their effectiveness here up north.

What is everyone's preferred brand/specific lure?

fishing user avatarHeavyFisher reply :

I use Zoom Super Salt Plus Ol' Monster 10.5" worms. Plenty of colors to choose from, decent durability, and best of all.....cheap!

fishing user avatarJar11591 reply :

The Rage Tail anaconda and recon are big.

I like the Zoom finesse worms. I'll have to try out some of their other products.

fishing user avatarJ Francho reply :

Berkley 10" Powerworms and Ragetail Recon and Anaconda are my favorite choices.

fishing user avatareyedabassman reply :

Netbait makes a very cool 15 in. C-Mac. The long ribbon tail gives off alot of action! Netbait  makes the C- Mac in 7.5 in. and a 11 in. and they come in many colors!

fishing user avatarAvalonjohn44 reply :

I use a lot of plain old Culprit 10" worms a lot. They are easy to find and have awesome color schemes.

fishing user avatarBluebasser86 reply :

Zoom Ol' Monster and Netbait C Macs are where it's at!

The largies love those around here.

Rage Tail Thumper

fishing user avatarMike L reply :

Annaconda's and Thumper.

Mike

fishing user avatarNice_Bass reply :

they do work up north just fine.

Powerbait 10 and 12 inch or zoom ole monster.

fishing user avatargripnrip reply :

I use the Gene Larew salty snakes.  Also another vote for the Rage anaconda and recon worms.

The ribbon tail on the salty snake is long and has a ton of action.

fishing user avatarAK-Jax86 reply :

Manns Jelly Worm (12") and Yum Mightee Worms (10.5")

fishing user avatar1234567 reply :

Big is subjective....for big check uptons customs. Ever think you might just need swimbait gear to toss a several ounce worm!

fishing user avatarMccallister25 reply :

I have some of the rage tail anacondas. They're pretty big.

fishing user avatarbigbill reply :

Culprit worms 10" & 12" red shad, black shad.

fishing user avatarWRB reply :

Uptom's Customs, Josh also makes "normal" size big worms between 9" to 16", the 24" is a monster worm!

Custom hand poured worms that work great.

Tom

fishing user avatarlivetofish28 reply :

Jethro baits big toho is a good 10 inch worm and they're cheap lol

I have a couple Upton Customs that are GIANT. I'm not even sure how big they are. I haven't used them because I don't have a hook that I feel would be big enough, lol.

fishing user avatarBlues19 reply :

I like the Rage Tail Anacondas a whole lot.

fishing user avatarjonnyblazex reply :

MANNs Jelly Worm x2!  Get the grape color and scent.  You open the bag and smell, then tell me you don't want to take a bite.  I missed a giant last year on one, but they definatly go for them.  Another thing I like about them is that they keep the dinks away, with the bigger size, you will catch bigger fish.

fishing user avatarcatch anything reply :

I got hooked on the rage tail anacondas, they make a great bed bait because their something not a lot of people throw onto them. but make sure you give the bass enough time to eat these massive things.

fishing user avatarBrian Needham reply :

rage tail thumper and zoom ol' monster

fishing user avatarfrogflogger reply :

Give some serious thought to Case Plastics Big Mommas - they're about 11" - straight tail and have been very effective for me - a plus is they are cheap.

fishing user avatarVolboy reply :

Zoom Ole Monster for ribbon tails and various brands of paddle tails (mostly locally poured worms around KY Lake).

fishing user avatarLendiesel22 reply :

I just got trigger X. Gonna Chuck it Saturday. Will update after

fishing user avatarbuttonreel reply :

Zoom Ol' Monster

fishing user avatarMCS reply :

Just got my Gambler 13" ribbon tails these make the ol monster look like a finesse worm. Gambler also makes a ledge worm in 9, 11 and 13" looks like a c-Mac or trick worm then there is Gamblers ER 16....16" inches of rediculousness
