we dont have a BPS in MN and i dont see that one on Cabelas website, but they probably have it in the store.
Thanks
Lucky Craft BDS Fat series 2.
I believe this is what it is called, Lucky Craft has so many shallow cranks and the names are very confusing!!!
Rapala DT Fat Raps and normal DT series in shad, blue gill, perch, baby bass and hot mustard colors.
Also like strike king sexy shad, think its series 1 is the shallow runner.
Rapala Shallow Shad Rap in the shad color.
A black and white original floating rapala will catch anything And there not very expensive.
OSP DaiBuzzin' or Blitz Max --- Hasu or Ghost Minnow
Mann's 1- & Baby 1-
Spro Little John, shallow runner, in the Cell Mate color.
BB
This isn't really classed under a crank bait but i use it as a full on crank. Tru-Tungsten 4 inch swimbait in perch or blue gill.
If this doesn'T meet your requirements then it would have to be the rapala dt 3 fat in shad.

QuoteMann's 1- & Baby 1-
The baby minus 1 in Baby Bass color is always on one of my rods.

I just picked a couple of these up when in BPS the other day. I have tried them out, I'm yet to catch to many fish on them. But, that's just because I haven't spent to much time throwing them. I really like their action so far, though.
Here's another vote for the Bomber Square "A", in Threadfin Shad. If that's not an option, then the Rapala Shallow Shad Rap in Shad or Purpledescent, and Shad.
Falcon
bandit series 100 Tennesse shad
This is the finest shallow running crank I've ever used. Runs approx 8 inches deep or it can wake with the best.
bps the egg in xxx shad order off line it getts to you pretty quick thats what i have to do because the closest shop i have here is gander mountian and they are horrible in my opinion growing up with in driving distance to cabelas
manns baby 1 - for me
Quotebandit series 100 Tennesse shad
Great little bait there. I've been killing them on that exact bait/color.
I also like the Lucky Craft Clunn 1.5 in Ghost minnow. BPS still has them at $9.95
Would the Rapala Original Floater be considered in this list?

Original Floaters aren't considered crankbaits, but that doesn't mean you can't fish them like a shallow crankbait or wakebait.
Rapala DT-4
Quotemanns baby 1 - for me
+1 its a great little bait.
Mann's Baby 1 minus is a classic, the Lucky Craft RC series can fit the bill if you keep the rod tip high.
Bandit Footloose (caught plenty of fish on this)
Rapala DT FAT 01 (haven't fished it much, havent caught anything, but i'm confident in its abilities)
Rapala DT FAT 03 (caught plenty of fish on this too)
all of these baits in a shad-type paintjob will do the trick!
Manns baby 1-minus, Lucky Craft RC 1.5
bds 2 in chart/rootbeer for stained.
flat mini sr in ghost sunfish for clear.
A jointed rapala or manns baby 1 minus.
Jackall Cherry Zero Footer in any color. But I do best with Sunfish and Ghost.
The OSP Buzz-N-Crank is quickly becoming a favorite. I have a few in clear minnow and crystal blue shiner.

micro, how does the size of the jackall compare to a mann's -1?
As far as baits that are truly designed to run under 2':
Rapala Shallow Fat Rap (eBay only - since Rapala dropped the model.. >)
Lucky Craft Flat CB SR (again...eBay....one of LC's best designs ever bites the dust)
Both of these baits have something most newer super shallow cranks don't have - a TIGHT action.
For baits still around, a Bagley Honey B or KB1 (shallowest versions) can be killers.....I'm more apt to use them in finesse cranking situations.
Norman's Baby N, Nutter Shad color
