fishing user avatarSlade House reply :

Just taking a survey but how many of you would purchase tungsten mojo sinkers and tungsten split shot weights?  if giving the chance

fishing user avatarBrayberry reply :

depends on the price

Exactly.

fishing user avatarSirSnookalot reply :

Have no need for them, no.

fishing user avatarlong island basser reply :

No thanks.

fishing user avatarOntarioFishingGuy reply :

Tungsten split shots, I would be interested as long as they aren't crazy expensive.

fishing user avatarfishballer06 reply :

Tungsten split shots? No way.

It would be the price of tungsten.

fishing user avatarJar11591 reply :

Yes. I use tungsten for everything that I can.

fishing user avatarMIbassyaker reply :

Yes, I would be interested in both.

fishing user avatargardnerjigman reply :

negative ghost ryder!

fishing user avatarHoosierHawgs reply :

I would buy Mojo weights... Split shots are debateable.. But if I'm going to use them it would probably be for is fishing in some prestine water, so yes probably.

fishing user avatarJ Francho reply :

Nope.

fishing user avatarOntarioFishingGuy reply :

I fish some streams where lead fishing weights are prohibited, and split shot are the best way to get down to the bottom. I find the tin split shot to be too large and intrusive when fishing in small clear trout streams.

fishing user avatarFelix77 reply :

nope

fishing user avatarDjf3864 reply :

No.

fishing user avatarkcdinkerz reply :

Nope tungsten cost to much I go swimming for my worm and punch weights if I can

fishing user avatarJoe H. reply :

Not worth it IMO. The smaller size of tungsten would make it more snag resistant but with the price of tungsten it would probably be a lot cheaper to just loose a few ;) However, I do use tungsten bullet weights. Reins to be exact. I've had bad expeiences with lead fraying my line.

fishing user avatarDogmatic reply :

Yes, I use tungsten for as much as I can.

fishing user avatarBasshunterJGH reply :

Nope

fishing user avatarJrob78 reply :

I wouldn't use either but I would think tungsten would be too hard to use as a split shot weight anyway.

fishing user avatarriverbasser13 reply :

Yes for the mojo, no for the split shot.

fishing user avatarcgolf reply :

Nope for the split shot and no for the mojo at the current prices. Mojo would be interesting if the prices dropped.

Same here.

fishing user avatarkadas reply :

Nope

fishing user avatarBankbeater reply :

No.

fishing user avatarhawkoath reply :

Probably not right now with the price of tungsten being so high and other (granted probably not as good) alternatives being readily available and much more cost effective. Good idea though but the timing is probably not right. Keep on thinking up these innovations :)

That's what I was thinking. Seems like tungsten would be too hard and damage the line worse than a regular split shot does pinching it on.

No

Logical point. I guess you could some how line the edges similar to an insert on a worm weight? Do inserts kill bullet weight sensitivity?
fishing user avatarthe reel ess reply :

I can't see the advantage to them.
