Found some dirt cheap Lucky Craft Flash Pointer 115's - Ghost Minnow, Lightning Pointer 98XR's Bone Pro-Blue, and 1 BD Jerkbait BDJ-115 in Gizzard Shad.
I've never used Jerkbaits that much. What do you guys know about these I've listed?
What is your favorite Jerkbait? I fish a lot rip raps, tail-races of dams, and lakes/ponds.
Where do you normally toss them?
toss em anywhere you are willing to do so! work it past any ambush points since it is a reaction bait. i like megabass 110's and variations of them (110+1, magnum, jr, and so on)
#9 black/gold rapala
Mostly Megabass, Lucky Craft, & Strike King for me.

Nice find. Love all LC pointer and Megabass offerings. I have thrown dozens of different brands and styles and keep coming back to these brands and fish them 90% of the time I am on the water. Fish them anywhere!
A-Jay - I'll give you $100 for the lot
Xrap works for me but i can't say i've used much else.
I've had my best luck fishing Spro and Smithwick jerkbaits.
I have several Lucky Craft pointers in various colors in the 78 and 100 size that do pretty good. I also use some Rapala Husky Jerks.

Apparently you're having trouble finding one that catches fish...
OP... my box includes LC Pointer 100 & 78, Slender Pointer 97, Silent Pointer 95, Flash Pointer 115, Staysee 90, Rapala X-rap 10, Shadow Rap deep & Jackall Rerange 115. Traded away anything that had Megabass written on it.

Good eye.
And that ST-35 has two points spread out wider making it a flat out fish snatcher.

That perch Ito Shiner does ok up here... I've caught a few on it. Have you tried the Trick Darters?

I have not ~
At 3/8 oz might be tough sledding getting that one through the 'breeze' I often contend with - especially early season.

I've tried the trick darter and its not my favorite. Its a nice looking bait but doesn't cast far or dive very deep. Sold them. Just bought an ito shiner since that is one I have not fished yet.

They're not too bad... They have a weight transfer system in them, so they're easier than, say, a Pointer 78. They definitely fish way above their weight.
I like 6th sense jerkbaits, I had a Strike Pro Inquisitor SP that I loved (until I lent it to a friend on a river trip and he cast it straight into a pine tree). The more it flicks out to the side and does loopty loops, the more I like it.
Lucky Craft, Jackal, and Megabass. Not necessarily in that order cause I’ll let the fish decide...
Lucky craft, duo realis, rapala, rick clunn and kvd are all great jerkbaits. If I had to only carry one ot would be a rapala shadow rap
Lucky Craft Slender Pointer 97, 112, and 127
Lucky Craft Pointer 65, 78, 100, and 128
Strike King KVD 300
Duo Realis 110 and 120
Duo Realis Rozante 77
Berkley Skinny Cutter
Ima Flit 100
Vision 110 jerkbait is my top favorite.
Jackall rerange is very underrated
Most of the time, I throw Megabass, Lucky Craft, Duo Realis and Rapalas.
However, I have been pleasantly surprised by the Livetarget rainbow smelt. Not even sure where I got it, because I've always avoided the brand (thought the baitballl stuff was gimicky, so I put my nose in the air when I passed them in the aisle.) But I must have gotten one years ago in a LTB or MTB and it fishes every bit as well as anything else I use. And for the price, I will be getting more.

I noticed you mentioned the skinny cutter. Was wondering your thoughts on the regular cutter
After all these years and new baits to come out, I still use the old Smithwick Rogue, cheap and catches fish.
Love the Megabass 110's, 110+1, 110+2, and junior. A very underrated bait is the Duo Realis 110sp and the 100DR. These are suspending jerk baits, with very high build quality, durability, awesome paint jobs and quality hooks. They aren't expensive for a good JDM bait. Check those out. The green smelt colour is money.

I haven't had near the success with the regular cutter.
Mostly threw them around shallow wood back in late December.
Stopped buying luckycraft because they were all floating. Huge fan of the IMA flit jerkbaits. All 8 suspended perfectly out of package this year and caught lots of fish.
Did really well with Duo Realis jerkbaits. My only con is the weight transfer ball system sticks sometimes creating an action I don't like. I don't like my jerkbait to suspend nose up either. They do cast far though.
I haven't been fishing the skinny cutter as much (at all) this season. Without a weight transfer system they flail on many casts and foul the hooks in the line.
