I know this topic is liable to generate some heated discussion, and I'd love to see all those different opinions. What is everyone's favorite brand and style of worm to fish with? Best colors? GO!!
I generally fish with Culprit Originals (which I can barely find around here anymore so the internet is a godsend). My favorite colors are Hot Watermelon (Watermelon Seed with long skinny red flakes) and Grape.
I like Yum F2 ribbon tails in black neon. Caught more bass on them than any other brand.
Rage Thumper,Black neon.Texas rigged.
Don't fish regular worms very often but when I do it's YUM ribbontail or Rage Andaconda.
Grande bass rattlesnake in junebug red
Texas rigged weightless. Slow drag it, swim it, toss it to culverts or brush piles. Caught my two biggest fish this year on these worms. However due to having to order them online I fish trick worms more often. So I know some people might not call it a worm. If that is the case then bitters magic wands(which are very similar to zoom trick worms) in red shad, junebug or junebug chart tip rigged and fished same as above, usually more of a slow to moderate speed drag.
Rage 7" Anaconda and Rage Recon, both in GP or Falcon Lake Craw. I have more confidence in those 2 than almost any other lure on earth. If I'm fishing big worms, there is only 1. 10" Rage Thumper!
I guess my favorite would be a green Wave Tiki Stick.
I buy the Grande Bass Rattlesnake at Academy... if your having to order them you might check and see if they have them in stock where u live...
10" Rage Tail Thumper (Blue Fleck)
For dropshot - Roboworm 4-1/2 straight worm, my favorite colors are mean green, junebug/chart. tail, and morning dawn/chart. tail.
My other pick would be, Wave worms super soft pro in watermelon/red flake

They don't carry all the colors.
This year it has been a Mann's 8" grape jelly worm, t-rigged.
SLUG-Os!!!!!!
~Lunker City
13" Culprit, mostly tequila sunrise.
Probably a tie between GY Senkos, primarily watermelon/black fleck, and 7'' Rage Tail Thumper, black/blue fleck. Senkos are t-rigged weightless or wacky rigged, depends on what the fish want. Thumper is t-rigged with a 3/16oz weight.
Zoom Trick or Finesse - Green Pumpkin and Red Shad
GYCB Senko Motoroil/red flake. Absolutely kills it on my home lake.
Gander mountain house brand "senko", in watermelon purple. The fish really like it, and I buy them when on sale I get 3 packs of 15 worms for 10.00 bucks.
Zoom Ol monster watermelon/red, black/blue
Zoom trick and finesse, and of coarse GYCB Senkos
Thanks everybody for posting...I had been lurking around the forums for a while, but I'm quickly discovering that this site is going to be a great resource to learn things from during the winter. I'm definitely thinking I need to try out some Senkos this coming spring.
Keep the replies coming
4 1/2 inch straight tail Roboworm in Margarita Mutilator. Nothing keeps up with it.
5" Senko or Yum Dinger. Buying more of the Yum lately because they are way cheaper and last longer.
Zoom or Net Bait Finesse
Net Bait C Mac 11"
Culprit or Power Bait 7"
My go-to worm is a 7" or 7-1/2" ribbon tail. I'm not married to any particular brand, I use Culprit, Yum, Berkeley, etc. I've had good results with Barlow's house brand and at ~$14.00 per hundred, they're easy on the wallet too.
Best colors for me are (in no particular order) red shad, tequila sunrise, junebug, black neon, plain black and purple.
Tom
Love the Senkos and like the Yum Dingers, caught a ton of fish on both, but I will say Robo Worm 4" because I like the finesse and action of this worm.
Zoom: 4" dead ringers on a shakeyhead, t-rig utails and 8" big dead ringers. Colors: watermelon/red, red shad. I also like the finesse worms on a shakeyhead. Black, watermelon/red, and on occasion white.
Traditional style worms Culprit in black,Zetabait gillrakers in black/red flake and Producto jiggle tails dark purple/ice blue tail.Specialty worms, senkos in watermelon red and watermelon black flake.Zoom trick worms same colors and sluggos in Arkansas shiner color.
berkley power worm
Berkley Powerbait and Gulp. I'd put it in the opposite order except Gulp dries out too fast. Hint to combat this: if you trail it behind the boat (just under or on the water's surface) it will last longer when you aren't using it.

ZOOM DEAD RINGER!!
deadly worm works everyway from t-rig to drop shot to shakey head the dead ringers are one of my best kept secret weapons i use the 4' from dec-may then the 8" may -nov any color any day will outcatch any other worm on my home waters im that confident in them
on several occasions i have embarrassed my buddies who are senko snobs (no offense) outfishing them 6:1 on their boat in there spots on the lake lol
only one local shop sells them here and i have the guy order them for me special in big packs of 100 so i dont have to hope someone bought my go to colors
on a seperate note in general i am pleased with zoom plastics in general, especially for worms. now beavers, creatures and craws is a different discussion for a different time
