Depending on duration of the trip, I usually bring a stick of jerky, a 12oz bottle of water, and some tums. A phone is necessary for emergency and photos. I forgot to mention electrical tape for any cuts
What do you bring along?
A cup of coffee and all my tackle that i can carry with me. Sometimes if i plan a day outing the P&J sandwiches come in handy too.
Pop, water, or anything anything along those lines to wet the whistle. And sunflower seeds.
A towel to dry my hands after I catch fish and rinse the slime off. If I forget this I use my Jeans and if the fish are biting my pants end up soaked.
And sometimes a couple of Beers!
Beside food and drink, sunscreen, bug repellent and my camera for CPR.
Water . Lunch with a diet mt dew. Sunscreen , hat and polarized glasses are must haves
Always a jug of ice water and a camera. Food ranges from a simple snack to full lunch depending on how long I plan on fishing and what time of day.
Water, sunscreen, hat (wide brim if its sunny and hot), sharp knife, and a camera. I usually eat like a pig as I'm putting the stuff in the car so sometimes I take food and sometimes I don't.
Slim Jims!
Coffee, Monster, drinks, Food, apple, snacks, bandana, glasses, phone, camera, I packed like I'm gone for the day!!
Plenty of powerade or gatorade, and sunblock. Also lip balm and some ibuprofen, and sometimes a little food.
Gatorade for the morning, and Coor's for the afternoon
Most all of the above, plus binoculars, a first-aid kit, and toilet paper. Fortunately, I've never had to use the latter two.
Phone, Sunscreen, 2 liters of water, lunchable, Advil, Emergency Kit, Sunglasses and that's all I can think of.. Oh and bug spray! On 4/13/2012 at 7:15 AM, Tom D. said:Depending on duration of the trip, I usually bring a stick of jerky, a 12oz bottle of water, and some tums. Mike
i always bring beer, weed, meth and cocaine
My lucky hat! Cell phone!
1. Cheap cigars - repels bugs, no deet
2. Ruger - repels idiots and the packs of illegals roaming my area
3. Duct tape - always useful.
4. Sewing Kit - always useful.
5. Leatherman tool - always useful.
Stuff I take along: Sunscreen, phone, water, vitamin water, food, Haribo Gummy bears (These are an absolute necessity, before even clothing come the gummy bears, it's a luck thing)- I also triple check my licenses to ensure the state I'm in is in there. Lastly, I take a bee-sting kit as I'm deathly allergic- Got stung in a tournament a number of years ago and they had to airlift me from the ramp to the hospital, after an epi-pen injection, too. Luckily we were on the run back for weigh in, or unluckily. Got stung on the face during the run. The guys were even nice enough to weigh my fish without penalizing me, and load my rig and drive it in to the hospital. Then charged me for it out of the check!
Stuff that's either in the truck or boat every fishing trip anyhow: Spare Trolling motor, spare prop, spare trolling motor prop, rain gear, spare glasses, first set of glasses. Suture kit/staple gun. First aid kit. Lindy No Scent Soap, TP, a couple towels, a micro fiber rag.
Coffee and toliet paper...
No cell phone = serenity
Skoal brother...

Definitely an essential, my fishing license. I ain't got time to eat or bleed when I fish.
Kidding aside, I bring some of the items already listed but I bring sanitzer along.
Where am at and the kind of fishing dictates what have. Fishing offshore, everything I need and use is in my tacklebag, snack( being a diabetic it's a must), 1 bottle of water and and a phone if we need seatow, never had to use it. From shore I can't think of anything other than a rod and a few lures.
Usually water a energy drink hat polarized glasses phone and instead of bug spray try a thermacell they work great they are scentless and keep most bugs away I even use one during early archery for deer season.
Phone, sharp knife, food if its a long day, plenty of drinks. The usual.
