Check this bait out. Its a bad mother! It is a floating bait. At rest the mouth is open and when you reel or twitch the bait the mouth closes. This bait looks awesome in the water! I want one!
How much?
Hasn't announced it yet. My guess is $150
That jointed hinge looks familiar. 3:16 bait?
yup
Looks a lot better than the BBZ-1. (Not that the BBZ-1 is the best out there or anything) Can't wait to toss one of those around. Thanks for the heads up on these.
Looks very similar to the wake jr just with an awesome upgrade!
Dude I could fry that up for ya
These things are rapidly becoming works of art. :-/
So, fourbizz, how much does 3:16 pay you?

LCpointerKILLA, I think he uses these baits the most because of construction and quality. I mean look how they're built. Even if they did pay him who in their right mind couldn't see how well made these baits are. Hence the hefty price tag. Small price to pay for catching fish in world record potential waters don't ya think?
Mickey's product's speak for themselves, they don't need a skinny white kid to tell people that they are good.
I hate Mickey! I wish he would just die! he makes it real hard to beat his hard baits. Dang that thing looks good. :'(
This coming from somebody who is in competition with him.
4 Bizz talks about what works for him. I have never paid him a cent and he says good things about my baits that he catches fish with too.
Same with a lot of guys. If something works for you why not give it some props?
I am not gonna lie....i'd be scared throwing that.
The image of losing that thing would haunt me forever.

How much does Lucky Craft pay you to use their name as a screen name????

Might seem like a trivial question, but what is the mouth/line eye made of. It looks like a real small U bolt being used as the eye for the line. Looks like a real nice bait too.
To the guys that know what I'm about, THANKS!
About the line tie, the eye itself is a stainless steel screw eye . The mouth is anchored with a stainless steel pin that goes from cheek to cheek. I watched this bait fly out of a stick that it was hung up in and whack the side of the boat at about 60 miles an hour. not a scratch.
that is the reason i pump Mickey's baits. they are straight bullet proof, whack fish, and look pretty ;D
I praise the things I like just as much as I bash the things that I don't.
Hey Biz -
Would that bait (and others like that) be mainly a clear water bait?
I fish a low viz lake, but am intrigued by this swim bait stuff.
What would you suggest in low viz, under 1oz ?
Thanks
a jig. there is no point to throwing tiny swimbaits IMO
Thanx Biz.
Curious question, if theres no point in throwing small swim bait, why do they make them for????
Also, someone commented on small price to pay for throwing a bait like that in world record waters.
If we order one in Texas, doe the price go down or does the world record waters come with it? LOL
Found that funny.
Left side of brain: Yeah, as if it really needs to be so realistic. It isn't like the bass know how many rays are on their anal fin, much less sit there and count them. And the fish probably don't really care if the mouth opens, that's a feature for catching fishermen.
Right side of brain: That thing is effin cool as shiznit...
Left side of brain: You're right. I want one....

smallfry,
Truth be said, most ideas that come from California have come from Japan on most occassions.
In Japan, bassing waters are highly pressured. The fish have seen everything and the waters are as in Cali, ginn clear. very similar.
Because of the pressure, life like lures are what they design. And they don't have the numbers of lakes we have here in the US.
California waters are very clear, so, even though a bass maynot be able to count the arrays on an anal fin, the life like lures will get you bit faster than some other brands.
Hookem
Quotenot a thing.you wanna say something?
Yeah, I'm just messin I know how much you love 3:16
Many people on here praise different baits and tackle, that doesn't mean they get paid by the company.
RW talks about Yo-zuri in every other sentence.
Fourbizz told me to look at Mickey's baits, and they're incredible. My favorite big bait is the wake jr. Although I'm not real into big baits, when I throw them, it's about all I throw, just cause the action alone is worth looking at in awwww.

yeah I know he's not paid, it was just a dry sarcastic joke
those things look awesome- I would have to rethink everything about my strategy in order to fish one- this is an intirely different pattern than what I am used to- may have to give it a shot and broaden my MO.
