check that thing out
Thanks a lot I'll look at that now
Lunker City Grubster Swimbait
Zoom 3" Swimmin Chunk

X2
Also a rage menace or structure bug.
Big Bites Cane Thumper
Reaction Innovations skinny/Little Dipper
Yamamoto swimming senko
Really all paddle style
Trailer: Zoom Ultra Vibe Chunk, Bruiser Baits Evil Twin Trailer, Gambler Twin Tail, Reaction Innovations Twerk
Swimbait: Keitech Swimg Impact Fat, Reaction Innovations Skinny/Little Dipper, Kicker Fish Bait Co. Tail Slapper (doing my reasearch on these)
Craws: V&M Wild Thang Craw, Strike King Rage Craw
Frogs: Reaction Innovations Trixie Shark
That pretty much covers it for me. Just all depends on location and how I'm fishing my bladed jigs, which in turn depends on what the bass want. Typically speaking, I fish the "typical" trailers and craw trailers when I'm bottom hopping or working it along the bottom with a stop-and-go, and fish the frog and swimbati trailers in open water, through grass, around rock and wood ... really when I'm trying to cover water. You can really mix it up and get creative at times. I just keep experimenting with new things unless it already works.
Hope that helps.
Pit boss, Rage Menace/craw/structure bug rigged sideways.
Paddletail swimbait, 2/3 of a 5" Senko.
Favorites are:
1) JP Hammer Shad from Powerteam Lures or their Grubs.
2) Skinny Dipper from Reaction Innovations. (cut a little off the head)
3) 3.5" Craw D'oeuvre from Power team Lures
I have had great results with the JP Hammer Shad. It's my goto trailer on everything Spinnerbaits, Swim Jigs, and chatter baits. Heck if it wouldnt mess with the action on a crankbait I would probably try it there too. Those things are Awesome.
I've had a lot of success using the yum boogee tail as a trailer. I like the subtle waving action of the arms and they are on sale at my local Wal-Mart.
Bitters Little Swimmer
Rage Tail Structure Bug, both vertical and horizintal
Cut-R skirt removed (Rage Blade, Wobble Head and Chatterbait)
I like using a boot tail swim bait on a swim jig but on a chatterbait I find a super fluke Jr. is much better.
I also use a lake fork magic shad. They have good action and a good variety of colors.
Zoom split tails
Trigger X Flappin Grubs
LFT magic shad
any paddle tail
any beaver
my secret one... make a tube solid by filling the body with a cut stick bait then thread it on, looks AMAZING try it out
Zoom Fluke
Caffeine Shad
... looking forward to try the Blade Minnow on my blade baits.
Zoom Super Chunk, Super Chunk Jr., or a Super Fluke.
> Mr, Twister 5" FAT curly grub.
> Keitech Fat
This year I will be adding...
> Lake Fork Magic Shad
> Mr. Twister Mag Sin Sation.

Already have. And it does look great, the way the tube tentacles flap and wiggle. It ought to catch fish well. With or without the skirt.
Fluke/superfluke
swimming senko
Sweet beaver.
Do you guys leave the skirt on?
For the most part yes, but rig one up naked with a Rage Tail Cut-R and give that a shot.
Be careful...You might get your arm broke!

I typically leave the skirt on, so as to maximize the amount of visible movement caused by the vibration. I like that sucker to shake all over. But thats just my personal preference. Fish can be caught just fine without the skirt as well.
Rage Craw

Yea not a lot of people seem to use it. I like to use skirts when I want a larger profile and not when I want it smaller.

I always use a trailer but I like to take the skirt off and just use a trailer most in open water scenarios or rocky areas because I feel like with weeds/wood the skirt helps it come through better. But as a side note I will always use a skirt in muddy or heavily stained water no matter what for maximum water displacement and vibration.

Tubes have worked well as a swim jig trailer as well.
Thanks so much for the help everyone! I'm gonna hit the tackle shop Saturday morning and see what I can find to use with them

Basically you are limited by your imagination, find something you think looks cool or think would work and give it a try, it can be a lot of fun especially if you use something unique that works. Now you have a secret chatter/trailer combination and confidence in it.
Very true man I'm excited lol
Optima double diamond or keitech.
Zooms split tail, bruiser bait evil twins, and pit boss are my main. This year I am adding bruiser baits paddle tail swim bait... (don't remember the specific name)

Well said
I tried a rage frog on a chatterbait and even a buzzbait once.. not the greatest idea
try everything if only once I guess..
I love using Gamblers flappy daddy on my chatterbaits, the way those claws flap behind a chatterbait gets plenty of bites.
