Just a little something I came up with while at work, feel free to share. Looking back several years ago this would have been very helpful for a young starting out me. Not sure if anyone has ever made one of these on here but I have never seen one.
Enjoy!
This is a nice reference sheet, thanks!
You are to be commended for your time and effort on that one man.
Nice
Well done sir. That was very well put together. Great resource.
Actually can you add on...larger swimbaits and glide baits(floating/slow sink/fast sink)? hehe
Really good job.
Nicely Done ~

Awesome now I have something official to hand people when they say:
"Why do you need more than one rod?"
Thanks a million. It's printed & laminated.
Since you did it @ work, does your boss fish?
Nice job.
Wow. Very nice. Copied n laminated. Might make a good stocking stuffer! Thank you.
Thank you all for the kind words. The other stuff isn't included because up North they aren't something I really ever fish. And I don't believe my boss is a fisherman but he always seems interested in my lunch break exploits hunting big smallmouth.
Well Done...
Mike
am i the only one that thought finesse rigs were supposed to be thrown on fluro?
I have added a couple things made some changes. Swimbaits are on there now but only after some research done on the interwebs. If there is anything else that I can add please let me know!
Joe
I run all my finesse stuff on braid with a fluoro leader...I have had one too many costly experiences with fluoro as my main line...thus the disclaimer haha
i clearly need to pay attention more since i didn't even notice the leader
Nice, looks super solid, good reference sheet for new guys and gals looking for a new rod.
Nicely done! I give you props for your effort. It gives people a general starting point if they're looking for something in particular. One thing about fishing though, is everyone is a little different and might like something different for a particular technique. Like I said though, I like this as it gives someone a great starting point.
Neat to have.
Thank you Joe. I really appreciate your efforts.
nice post, great info. Much appreciated.
Nice list, the rod setup will be beneficial for me. I have tried a couple of fluoros on a baitcaster and they either don't cast at all or are well short distance wise of what I can get with braid so I stick with that sometimes adding a fluoro leader if I can't get bit at all.
Thanks for putting it together.
This thread should be pinned to help cut down on all of the "best rod for baits x" threads.
