My fishing partner just sent me a text and asked me if I saw this or knew anything about it. Sounds a little to good to be true. Its called BaitCloud. Anyone try it or know anything about it?

How It Works
BaitCloud brings the fish to you by combining scent, sound and visual attractants into a single, proven, easy to use biodegradable product that is irresistible to fish.
I saw the video. Definitely seems like a gimmick.
I'm sure it attracts some fish, especially if you're targeting catfish or panfish, but I doubt it would be very effective on bass.
I seen that on fb. I'm skeptical about it. I couldn't find how big of an area it would attract them from. Kinda seems like it takes all the fun out of actually finding the fish, I mean on a hard day, and you're not catching maybe this could help land a couple but I wouldn't wanna use that very often.
To me, it sounds too good to be true - I usually don't waste my time on stuff like that lol
I think it is one of those things that are meant to attract fisherman, not fish... ?
In the big scheme of things, is it really any more or less gimmicky than a Hydrowave?

I may try some with my "Flying Lure" and see if it works.
Ok...say it works PERFECTLY. Would you use it? I have my opinion but I'm curious as to those of others.
Sounds like a gimmick to me. A bait shop guy once told me that men would spend money on three things if they knew it would improve their chances... fishing, f*&%ing, and golf. LOL
I'll pass. I got enough junk at my house. Don't need more.
Well you could just throw out a handful of bluegill feed every now and then in hopes of starting a feeding frenzy. Or bread for that matter. I saw a YouTube video where Bama Bass throws out live crawfish then catches bass on imitations.

Well let's see what's the difference in a $5000.00 fish finder that shows where everything is? No different than giving a deer hunter infrared scopes in my book.
Oh I know I'll get blasted it's not the same but yeah it is both show you exactly where the targeted game is.
As for this BaitCloud I doubt I'm buying any but I can see it as a tool for getting kids into fishing. It's hard enough to get the kids to go outside these days much less have any patience when the bite is slow. This might help get them addicted. Then again getting them off the BaitCloud addiction might be tough if it really works.
All it's going to take is KVD or some pro to say it works and fisherman everywhere will be fighting each other to get to it first.

Good points all. I guess I make this harder than it needs to be. I don't use electronics. I fish by "feel" and experience. I also don't fish tournaments or anything like that. Do I catch less fish than those that use all these things? Yeah. Do I care? Sometimes. I have more frustrating days than others do, I guess. But that's ok I'm doing what I love to do and have no qualms with others doing their thing
If attractants work then it seems this could work, assuming it has some sort of attractant. It also looks like it might oxygenate the water as well. Might be god for a stagnant pond.
i had a couple outings last summer that i would have tried anything!!
Even this Crap!

Roland Martin will sell it, he sell everything!
Doubt it will fly in CA. Falls under the definition of "chum". No can chum in FW.
I am sure that there will be a horde of bass fishermen who will buy this product if their favorite "pro" tells them it's what helped them win a tournament.

Seems they have different ones for different species. And Bass is one of them.
I've been using it for a few months now.
It's the greatest stuff I've ever seen. Once I've applied it....I can throw any lure and hook up a fish.....a big fish! They seem to become very aggressive and kind of push the dinks out of the way.
If you don't use this stuff....you're crazy!
Just joshing ya. Had this been an actual endorsement you would have been instructed where to buy and send your money.
Tight lines
I would use this in a heartbeat if I was taking my kids fishing and wanted to show them the fun side of the sport. As for myself I wont say I wouldn't but I wouldn't very often for sure. I like to think that I am a decent fisherman and can find and catch bass but even the pros get frustrated sometimes
The reviews on MTB pretty much tell the story...
My favorite review:" it make some small bubbles but that was it"
They look exaclty like the "bath bombs" my girlfriend likes. If someone here will promice to let me sleep on their couch I will buy a Baitcloud and slip it into her supply. I am not sure what flavor she would like best though.
Why, ya'll don't got no faith whatsoever! This be the solution to all ya'lls fishing problems!
Bass got lockjaw?
Slap you some of this ole stuff on your Banjo Minnow and watch the 10 pounders fight over the lure! It's crazy sounding but it works!! We just in the works of shippin' our good buddy Roland Martin a lifetime supply of this stuff for his helicopter lure. He swears a 15 pounder jumped plumb clear out of the waters of Okeechobee to engulf the lure with BaitCloud on it.
Guaranteed to catch bass, this magic stuff takes the guesswork out of fishing!

Too funny! If she likes it... you have to marry that girl! I'd go crawfish...
Gimmicky and once you toss it in the water you can't move it or get it back. Just dip some alka seltzer in smelly jelly and throw it overboard if you wanna see if it works.
