I'm gonna order a Revo S 3rd gen from them tonight, but do they have good packaging to prevent scratches and scuffs? A deal that good for a Revo is to hard to resist.

I would think it would come in a reel box, inside of a box with bubblewrap.

Of course! They package just like TW. They had a random 25% off sale recently and I picked up another Stradic (couldn't resist!). Their stock tends to be quite a bit lower than TW's, but otherwise I put them right up there in terms of customer service.

I had the 50E in my cart 3 times...lol I couldn't do it. I've spent too much already this year. I did however add a new topwater rod to my arsenal. Not too often you get price cuts on St.Croix rods, so I took advantage there. 50E can wait until my birthday I guess.

Bummed they didn't have very many Veritas rods in stock. Decided I would get a new 7'6" MH rod because of the sale, and ended up getting it at TW along with an additional $50 in Damiki Hydras so I could get a free TW shirt.
BTW, all Abu rods and reels over $70 have a rebate for a free hoody if you pay shipping.

BTW, that hoody is comfortable as !@#$. Got one when I had purchased some Revos, its the best thing I got from Abu, lol.

How long did it take for yours to be delivered? I have been waiting on mine for a month and a half.

Give them a call, they are great to talk with. During the new years sale it took 3.5 weeks for mine to be delivered. I called them (very politely) and asked when they thought my order would be shipped out and it turns out they were waiting on a shipment of Lews reels to come in before they sent it off to me. They guy was super friendly and I made sure to thank him for the great sale and all they hard work they put in during these sales times.
My box even had a few upgrades in it when i opened it 
I did manage to resist buying any big purchase items this time around, but I did grab 70$ worth of tungsten weights, topwaters, line, and loaded up on the Flukes.
