Answer: I have experienced fruit sticking to the racks. Did some watermelon slices and that stuck pretty bad. I have not really experimented with this a lot to see if spraying with a cooking spray or something like that would help, but I am concerned that might have a negative impact on the taste of dehydrated fruit.
Answer: Amazon sells parchment paper rounds to line the trays, so that items don't stick.

Answer: You will need to either place items in top of racks only or alternate the top to bottom racks halfway through frying.

Answer: You can always use a steam basket or an instant pot to steam the dumplings without a bamboo steamer basket. Fill your instant pot with a few inches of water and bring it to a boil in the saute mode. Then switch the mode to “steam” and place the dumplings on the steam rack on a trivet. Steam for 12-minutes by covering the pot with a glass lid.

Answer: The rack isn't entirely stable when it isn't in the InstantPot inner pot. Other than that, it should be entirely save in a regular oven.

Answer: I end up turning it more. When using this, it blocks some heat from going to the levels further down, so I end up swapping all the racks and turning the food so as to get everything cooked or dehydrated. I do still like it more though than just using one layer.
Answer: I use it to make jerky. So no, I don’t flip the food. I don’t see why you would have to since the food can get air all the way around it.
Answer: Given the nature of the air fryer, and how the air moves around the food, I don't believe this step would be needed. The top layer does receive the full force of the fryer, and I have noticed that it cooks more than the rest. I hope your fryer has the capability to go lower temps than mine, since 200F is too high for jerky in my opinion.

Answer: So I also have a 6 quart Instant Pot. I have their fryer lid as well that goes with the instant pot. This rack does fit nicely inside the 6 qt Instant Pot. I have tried dehydrating fruit with and without anything on the rack to make cleaning easier. The dehydration works best without any barriers between the layers. However, this was based upon using the dehydrating function on the Instant Pot Air Fryer lid.
Answer: I can't say it will work. But I can tell you it does fit in the 6 qt pot. I have an duo. So I don't know about the fry lids. I can tell you I make perogies and jalapeno poppers on this tray and it works great. I have not used it for dehydration. You do have to rotate the trays tho.

So far they've worked great. I wouldn't want to put anything really messy on them, though. They would be hard to clean.

Answer: Since I do not own the Ninja Foodie I cannot answer your question, however, if you read the specifications for the Goldlion Dehydrator Rack it probably will let you know whether or not this would be compatible with the Ninja Foodi. If you scroll way down in the specifications towards the end I believe it shows a list of compatible products.
Answer: I find the rack very useful. It’s easy to clean and although it looks flimsy.... it is sturdy, even with food in it. I have used all 5 racks in on go or 3 sometimes. In all cases, works great.

Answer: Here’s the scoop. Possibly more than you need but .... it’s 5 1/2” from bottom to top of handle. It’s 4 1/2” from bottom to top rack. There are 5 racks. Bottom rack is fixed to handles and folds flat. There’s 1” in between if using all 5 racks. Or you can use 3 layers with 2” in between. This is mostly how I use it to cook fries or wings/drumsticks. You just have to move things around. This saves me from doing a second batch of food. Hope this helps.

This is great! I looked for a long to find a rack that would fit in my 6qt, and happy I came across this one. The levels are removable, so you can take them out and have different heights between the layers! This is sturdy and easy to put together and adjust.
Floridaneal : Too small for air frying
If you use one tray at the middle level it's fine but forget using all four the space is just too narrow. Plus all the heat goes to the top tray so the top is cooked and the bottom is raw. It's too hard to try to rotate the trays from top to bottom because you basically have to disassemble to whole thing. Just stick to your old reliable dehydrator.

We also used it in the air fryer instead of the basket when air frying fish as you can lift it out and easily turn the fish with a spatula. Not so easy to do that in the air fryer basket because the fish falls apart. It is nice that you do not have to dirty all the trays if you don't need them since they are removable!

I was looking for something that fits in my Instant Pot 6 (with Air Fryer lid) and gives me additional surface area so that I can fry more french fries, rolls in on go. This is advertised as a dehydrator rack which I have not tried yet. I have used it as a air fryer rack and it works wonderfully. You can use all the tiers at once for smaller items or you can use less for larger items. You can easily fit about 6 medium sized party chicken wings on the tier so it is easy to say that you could fit about 18 wings at a time using the 3 tier approach. I am late to the game with using an air fryer having just gotten mine a couple of weeks ago, but I am glad that I ordered this item at the same time because it has been very useful.

The dehydrator rack adds to the versatility of the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid. The layers can be customized - you don’t need to use all 5 layers. As long as you have the top and bottom layer, the rack will stand. I haven’t used it to dehydrate, but have stacked 3 layers of potato fries with success. When not in use, the assembly stores nicely. Glad I bought it.

It is a multi function rack: Use it as trivet, use it to layer different pans for air frying and instant pot cooking/baking/roasting and broiling.

I found it was difficult to remove the rack when hot, so I made a dual hook from about a 7 inch length of welding rod. The hooks are at each end of the welding rod piece and both hooks are bent downward when the welding rod is held horizontally. I can easily hold the middle of the rod and hook at each end of the upper rack handle. That way I am able to keep my hands from getting burned and easily remove entire rack.

This little dehydrator rack was a great addition to my rapidly growing family of Instant Pot accessories. I mean, who doesn't love apple chips! I recently purchased an Ultra 6-qt and the corresponding air fryer lid so that I could retire my standalone air fryer, and these racks popped up on my product recommendations. They weren't terribly expensive, and had gotten good reviews, so I figured I'd give them a try. I love the fact that they're collapsible for easy storage and can be washed in the dishwasher. The racks fit perfectly into the stainless inner pot - which makes them somewhat small, but that is a limitation of the pot size. I was able to fit 1-1/2 medium-sized gala apples sliced 1/16" thick and dipped in lemon juice in each batch. I sprayed a bit of Pam on each rack, laid the slices in a single layer, set my fryer lid to dehydrate at 135F for 12 hours, and got the yummiest, crunchy apple chips! Since I had sprayed the racks, the apples just slid right off.
If you intend on making large batches of dried anything, you might want to just purchase a dedicated dehydrator. For me, though, these racks are fine. Cauliflower popcorn next!

I used this dehydrator rack to make zucchini chips. I used the air fryer lid on my instant pot and set it on dehydrate for 4 hours. My chips were sliced very thin so the dehydrate setting was gentle enough to not make the chips fly around, since that will burn them and end up stuck to the sides. Tip: wait till they’re done to salt them.

I've now used this product and can report that it works very well. I used it to hold sweet potato, turnip, and rutabaga slices in the instant pot cooked with the air fryer lid. It held more slices than I thought it would; more than sufficient for two people as a side dish. The hot air cooked the slices quicker and more thoroughly that just dumping all the slices into the pot. It was not necessary to 'stir' or rearrange the slices for them to cook completely as is recommended with the pot supplies with the air fryer lid. After cooking with the device I washed it in the dishwasher and it was completely cleaned. I believe I will use this produce frequently.

I've used it to dehydrate fruit. I also bought the silicone rounds you can put on each rack. I tried it with and without the silicone. It appears to work better without the silicone rounds. I've only done this 2 times so far so will be dehydrating other fruits etc. and see if making adjustments would allow using the silicone as it is easier to clean with them. I like that it folds up into a small flat bundle for storage.

This dehydrator rack fits perfectly in my 12L halogen oven! I have used it to dehydrate apples and mango slices using the same directions as with the instantpot air fryer and it works like a charm. One mistake I made was trying to dry some sourdough starter on sheets of wax paper. The fan from the lid wound up blowing the papers all over the place. I do wish it would pack down more compactly when not in use.

I've used it to dehydrate fruit. I also bought the silicone rounds you can put on each rack. I tried it with and without the silicone. It appears to work better without the silicone rounds. I've only done this 2 times so far so will be dehydrating other fruits etc. and see if making adjustments would allow using the silicone as it is easier to clean with them. I like that it folds up into a small flat bundle for storage.

Have been looking for the rack that's can really fit the 6qt instant pot for a long time.
There is not many choices out there, and most of them only have two layers, which does fit my needs.
I just received the product a few days ago, it is exactly what I want. Perfectly fit to the 6qt pot. I used it to cook some sliced sweet potato, and it worked well.

I can cook more in my 6-qt IP DuoCrisp Air Fryer with this neat little gadget, and it's very easy to clean. However, it is also very difficult to take out of the air fryer with oven mitts, and it's also very hard to flip food over when needed half-way through cooking without knocking out the rack above or below. I think it works best with food that doesn't require flipping!
