Answer: Yes, I have had it draped on my outdoor fence a few years. I added a few shells and it looks great!

Answer: Fish net adorned with shells and cork for the perfect nautical decor. The net is approximately 5' X 10'. Ideal for decorating a wall, bar area, stairs or pool lanai.
Answer: Without using a tape measure I would say it is closer to 5x10. We have it draped across a recessed lighting area in our kitchen which gives it a very "coastal" feel. Well made and decorative.

Answer: Mine was a dark tan. My only complaint is the shells tied in make it hard to unravel after storage. Mine is for seasonal decoration though.

Answer: I would not cut the net, but I would definitely use it as a hammock for stuffed animals. Just make sure your son does not hand from it :-)
Answer: Yes, you could cut it. You would need to apply something on the cut areas to prevent fraying (fingernail polish would work). The net is sturdy with a bit of stretch which would work well in holding stuffed critters, however based on my own experience with stuffed animals in nets....use good quality anchors to hold it up. Personal experience is that the anchors give before the net does.
Answer: Hello, yes you can cut the netting, depending on how many stuffed animals and how heavy they are, it could be used to hold them or you could double the netting to be safe. Also there are shells already attached to the netting. Hope this helped.

Answer: I think it should hold. It is flimsy but strong, you may need to attach it to the wall in several places to make it look right. I used mine in my son's bedroom, to hold stuffed animals. It's hung in the corner over his bed and it's holding up really good even with him playing with it.
Answer: It's thin netting. If you use the netting as a background and hang the letters actually on the wall it would work. I hung starfish etc in it but I attached them to the wall in the netting. Hope that helps.

For the money this was just perfect for what I needed. There weren't a lot of sea shells as some have mentioned, but I wasn't buying it for that purpose. I was using it for a mini cover up of a CD swivel rack from IKEA I bought 15 years ago. Looks great draped over furniture that has the beachy antique or distressed look to add character to the nautical theme. I'd buy this again in a heart beat!

There is no smell to the net even bran new. The netting I have used (bought 2) has been up for about a year, it has survived as "pouring" ceiling leak, having to be pulled down and put back up it great condition. I would defiantly buy again.

The decorative fish net is just as I expected. Looks great and is at least 5 x 10 ft. The shells get a bit tangled as you decorate, I'd suggest a helping hand when your working with it. I used it in my son's room to help with the stuffed animal clutter. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is a tan colored fish net which I used to complete my shell theme in my bathroom. It doesn't have many shells, etc but very easy to work with and easy to attach shells, costume chains, etc. sturdy, not thin cheap threading the way many fish nets are made.

Really great looks pretty good. we used it to drape all over my chair as we went to a halloween party and I went as a Mermaid and he went as the fisherman who caught me. I had a lure stuck in my clothes and the line it was tied too up to his fishing pole that type thing it was awesome I got a tail and everything off here. our costumes were so freaking awesome we won two different prizes that night at the party. (it was not a simple little thing at someones home either it was a fancy costume party at a country club kinda thing too!) anyway it really worked well and I plan to use it as a netting to hold up stuffed animals (my hello kitty collection in fact) up in my room above my bed so as to keep them from over running my closet! woot two for one!

The funnest and most creative accent in the room! If your a decorator you'll appreciate the quality! The four edges have real corks on them with real rope little loops to hang on anything. It has awesome shells and sea life! I used this as a drape around my mirror for a nautical them and it's high quality and well made. Just an all around superb decorating tool. Well put together and easy to hang! Someone thought out how to best drape and applied little ropes to hang off anything. I really enjoy this if you can't tell.

This is absolutely everything I was looking for! It is great quality with real shells attached as well as pieces of cork. I am using this to decorate a pirate ship stage for a Peter Pan play.
