Answer: Good luck finding that out--when mine turned out not to work Amazon tried to point me at the manufacturer but it was actually just the seller. Then the seller tried to point me back at Amazon and I never did get a straight answer to the question "who made this thing?" Eventually Amazon refunded me (since they were the fulfillment entity) but it was a pain in the butt and I eventually ended up getting a Consori because at least it actually has a brand name and you know who made it. Works like a charm, that one does.

Answer: Fan runs continually, and even a couple minutes after time to cool off. Love my dehydrator, only thing I would have changed is the temperature gage from C. to F.
Answer: I believe that the unit comes with a default setting of temperature in degrees Celsius. Try holding temperature button for 3 seconds and it should change over to Fahrenheit display.

Answer: I ordered the product but never received it. Amazon did get a refund for me because it was sold through a second party. It says lifetime warrantee. But it does not go into details on exactly what the lifetime warranty is.

Answer: Smoke is not normal unless your 'disinfecting' included spraying something on the heating element.
Answer: The fan blade may be tied for shipping or the blade got bent and is binding on motor block? Unit should not be smoking, unless you may have gotten disinfectant on the heating element? Or maybe the fan blade is stuck causing the motor to burn?

Answer: Most likely you could, as the lowest temperature setting is about 86 degrees Farenheit (the temerature settings are in Centigrade). However, the fan runs continuously and will quickly dry anything you put inside. You would have to use a tightly covered container for the dough.

Answer: Mine makes a soft fan noise. Sometimes the metal shelves rattle from vibration caused by the fan, shifting it a bit usually stops that. I also wrapped a bit of tape on the top handle since that will also rattle sometimes.

However, this new dehydrator does such an amazing job (much faster at dehydrating and holds a lot) that, now, we doubt we will use our old dehydrator at all! Seems to work well and quite a bit of room. When dehydrating apples you can start with a full dehydrator of 6 lbs of apples and end up with 1 gallon dehydrated apples in 8-10 hrs.
While it works as advertised, it is Made pretty cheap and flimsy, Not the greatest workmanship, so I will have to see how it holds up in the long term.

I have to say, I do love this food dryer. I was going to leave a 5 star review, however, I subtracted one star because of the companies policies. They say, just send us an email and you can get free silicone mats for your dryer. Well, then you have to fill out a form, then you have to make a review and send them a screenshot of the review. That, I do not appreciate. So My issue is with the policy, not the product. They should say straight up, you get silicone mats for a good review, not if you send the email requesting it, then make you prove your review.
As you can see from the photo, the dryer is large, for size reference, those are quart canning jars next to it. I love the settings for temp and time. I love the metal trays. The cookbook was a handy starter reference. Instructions for set up were usable. I had a question, they responded via email. I just got it out originally to make sure it worked, as I did not plan on using it until the end of summer. But when I started playing with it, it was so awesome I just started drying things. I did not even know you could dry lemons, or cucumbers. They are all delicious. I think it may live on my cupboard, forever. That said, I have only had it for a few weeks. If it lasts 5-10 years, I will be happy. If it lasts less than that, I will update this review. They say there is a warranty, I do not know what that will look like, but if I find out, I will update.

The fan was not functional on this unit, which means the unit itself is unusable. The fan blows air over the heating element and across the trays of food, and also out of the unit, ventilating the unit and reducing moisture inside it. I thought it might work without the fan - nope! After 6 hrs at 60 C my banana slices weren't even warm to the touch. Now in order to salvage my ~8 pounds of banana slices I'm attempting to dedyrate them in my oven instead. You think it might be a good idea to turn on a unit for two seconds to see if it works before shipping it out? Guess not.
Bone Dry : Works great, HUGE capacity.
This unit is sturdy with the stainless steel construction, the racks go in and out easily, making cleaning easy. It heats up quickly and with the powerful fans works quickly on what you're dehydrating. The fan might be a bit loud to some, but I don't mind. I'm very satisfied with the product.

You’re not going to find a better one for the price! So many features and works better then expected. It’s a little loud for home use but I don’t mind it. It turns to white noise after awhile.

I have to say, I do love this food dryer. I was going to leave a 5 star review, however, I subtracted one star because of the companies policies. They say, just send us an email and you can get free silicone mats for your dryer. Well, then you have to fill out a form, then you have to make a review and send them a screenshot of the review. That, I do not appreciate. So My issue is with the policy, not the product. They should say straight up, you get silicone mats for a good review, not if you send the email requesting it, then make you prove your review.
As you can see from the photo, the dryer is large, for size reference, those are quart canning jars next to it. I love the settings for temp and time. I love the metal trays. The cookbook was a handy starter reference. Instructions for set up were usable. I had a question, they responded via email. I just got it out originally to make sure it worked, as I did not plan on using it until the end of summer. But when I started playing with it, it was so awesome I just started drying things. Easy to use, easy to clean wire racks. Mostly quiet but rattles a little when heater cycles. Having tried several other units from other sources this unit functions the best we have tried. My wife like the ample rack space and the size and weight and manageable for her. The customer service has been very responsive for the few questions we have had.

Had it for over a month now and it is everything you need in a dehydrator.
Pros:
Space - 4 lbs of meat and only using 5 trays without crowding. Can probably fit up to 10 lbs
Light - Illuminates the inside very well
Door window - In combination with the light this is an incredible feature that allows you to see the progression of your dehydrating without having to open the door
Easy to clean - Stainless steel everything, doesn't get easier
Cons:
The only con so far is that the temperature setting is in Celsius but any online converter will help you out. Also once you figure out your desired temperature your good to go.
Tip: Once you receive the dehydrator you can contact the seller and receive free silicone mats which come in very handy.

We bought this dehydrator as a second one since we have a large amount of herbs and peppers to dehydrate and our dehydrator wasn't big enough. However, this new dehydrator does such an amazing job (much faster at dehydrating and holds a lot) that, now, we doubt we will use our old dehydrator at all! We highly recommend this dehydrator, although we have only used it a few times so we do not, yet, know if it withstands the test of time.

I purchased this in June to dehydrate veggies from my garden. My garden is coming to an end and now I want to start dehydrating everything. Yesterday I opened the box and found the item damaged. When I was opening the box and unwrapping it I had this feeling that this item had been used or returned because of the way it was packed in the box. My gut feeling was correct. The top right corner of the door is bent. The time frame to return it has passed. My fault I didn’t open it sooner and inspect it but I’ve never had something sent to me that was damaged and the box it was sent in was not damaged so it was sent to me like this. I’m disappointed that I spent this kind of money and was shipped a damaged item.
