I have always purchased my food saver bags by the roll. So when I saw this, I was happy to give them a try.

These are not super wide, but unless you were trying to seal a very large roast, you likely would not need a very wide bag. You also need to keep in mind the capacity of your sealing machine when choosing bags.

These have worked very well in our Food Saver machine. We can't do airtight seals for foods with juice in them...our machine doesn't handle moisture seals.

The bags are textured on one side and smooth on the other. It makes them easier to handle. Note that you have to cut your own bag size with these, so be sure to allow extra length for sealing. You will need to heat seal one end before you put your food or item in there as well.

I've had no problems with these sealing or holding a seal. My worst problem with them is my apparent inability to cut a straight line! Crooked cuts don't seal as well. But I trim and try again.

I received this product in exchange for my honest review as part of the Amazon Vine Program. Seller Brand: Kwsdo lists these as "Food Saver Vacuum Sealer Bags Rolls for Food 11 inch, Seal a Meal Bags Food Saver, 2 Rolls 11"x 50'(total 100') Cut to random Size,BPA Free Freezer". This is a great value pack of food safe vacuum sealer bags that are 11 inches wide. I can cut these as long or short as I wish. They do NOT have markings to guide my cut from side to side but otherwise work just fine with my ancient vacuum food sealer. The thickness is great and the dot pattern allows the food sealer to exhaust the air from the bag without difficulty once I've sealed an end.

Pictures 1 and 2 are the continuous 2 rolls of bags, 11 inches wide. Picture 3 after sealing one end I inserted leftovers. Picture 4 after sucking the air out and sealing once, voila! These can be written on with a sharpie pen too. Less wasted food is always a good thing.

I Recommend these Kwsdo Brand Vacuum Sealer Bags as a good value, they work as well for me as the name branded option.

I used these in a FoodSaver brand machine. On mine, they fit just fine. They seemed a bit thicker than the roll that came with my machine, so I seal them two times before taking the bag out. I love that they are a roll and not pre-cut bags, so I can decide how long I want them.

Once sealed, the vacuum function works great and I did not have any issues.

I vacuum sealed one really bulky item, and instead of trying to seal it straight across, I added extra length and sealed the two outer sides at an angle, then straight across, so it looked like a criss-crossed U, but it was easier to process that way.

Great product that allows any length to be determined as these are not precut. Work just as well as the originals. I am using this with the Hamilton Beach food saver. I do prefer the precut, but these do the job and size can be customized.

Diana Steeger : These are not Food Saver bags

Buyer beware. Don't make the same mistake I made, and read the entire listing before buying. These are not Food Saver bags, but instead brand name is Kwsdo, and these bags do not work as well with the Food Saver. Had I realized this, would not have bought.

I'm so glad I learned how to use vacuum sealers to keep my food fresher and longer. I have a chamber vacuum sealer and after my trip to a big box store, I picked up a lot of fresh meat and seafood. This large bag rolls let me customize the size of my bags. I just have seal them on both sides. I finally learned why one side of the bag has a textured surface. It's meant to help the plastic scrunch up easier when it's being vacuum sealed and reduce air pockets. There is 50 ft to each roll. That averages to about 50 bags because you always have to leave some room on the borders to seal. These bags are also great for sous vide. I haven't detected any weird scent or taste from dipping these bags in hot water.

These do work in the Food Saver brand vacuum sealers and as to quality I can't tell a difference between the FS brand and these. They are also a good value as you get 100'. The rolls are larger in diameter but its easy to make these work by laying the roll in front of the machine, do your cuts until the roll's diameter is small enough to fit into your machine.
