How does the PULSE function work?


1. Put the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber.	2. Close and press on both ends of the lid. You will hear a "click" sound if the lid is closed properly.	3. Press and hold the "STOP/PULSE" button to activate the function. Sealing time depends on the size of your food/meal. After achieving the desired vacuum effect, release the button. Sealing stops immediately.	4. Finally, press "SEAL" button to seal the bag.

Answer: The large bags don't work so well. I use the medium and small bags the seem to work better. I have notbhad my machine take a break yet. It was a strong machine great buy. Sealing take up to 20 seconds

Answer: It is fairly noisy but it only takes like 30 seconds.

I have wanted a vac sealer for years but conflicting reviews of the well known brands stopped me. This Koios model was bargain priced, so I felt it was worth the risk. I couldn't be happier. It's just simple and it works. I wasn't sure how I'd use it, but started with my warehouse sized bag of coffee beans and vac/sealed a large portion. When I needed more, I just cut the top of the bag, poured out, and resealed the bag. Bought extra air chilled chicken on sale and used the 'moist' option and it sucked out all the air without a problem. I can't speak to the longevity, or to the canister attachment, so could't give it a full five stars. I purchased another Koios product a few years ago, and I get the sense that they want to deliver quality and service, so I'm comfortable purchasing this brand.

We've owned a larger well known brand vacuum sealer for years, and wanted one for a vacation home. I was really surprised by the performance. This compact sealer does as well as the larger more expensive one at a lot less cost (and takes up a lot less space, which is always a plus in the kitchen!). Tried it out on both just the seal option as well as vacuum and seal and both worked perfectly. Noise level is about the same as the other one we own, but just runs for a few seconds so noise is not really an issue. Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a less expensive compact sealer.

I really really love how small this little vacuum sealer is! I have an old one that is as big as a microwave, and I’m so glad to not only replace it, but to gain back that extra counter space I was wasting, because this little guy fits in any drawer I choose! I can also attest that as soon as I heard this machine run, I knew it was much stronger than my old one because the suction is audibly stronger and i was right because it finished in about half the time it normally takes. I normally expect 30-60 seconds, but this one was vacuumed and sealed in less than 20 seconds. I also love the fact that the cutter is built in. Nothing to keep up with, nothing to lose! They also include an extra foam gasket for free, so I’m confident this unit will operate efficiently for quite a while. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I compared this model with a couple others before I made a decision, but I went with this brand because I have purchased a few other KOIOS (a blender, food scale, and an air purifier) products in the last few years and they are all still operating today, so I will trust them yet again as long as they keep making these durable products. If you’re looking for a cheap sealer that isn’t cheap quality, I feel you’re looking at the right one!
