How does the PULSE function work?


1. Put the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber.	2. Close and press on both ends of the lid. You will hear a "click" sound if the lid is closed properly.	3. Press and hold the "STOP/PULSE" button to activate the function. Sealing time depends on the size of your food/meal. After achieving the desired vacuum effect, release the button. Sealing stops immediately.	4. Finally, press "SEAL" button to seal the bag.

what is the widest bag it can accommodate and is there a long wait time between sealing for cool down?

Answer: The large bags don't work so well. I use the medium and small bags the seem to work better. I have notbhad my machine take a break yet. It was a strong machine great buy. Sealing take up to 20 seconds

seems noisy after seeing other reviewers video, could I run this at night after my family is in bed, or is it too noisy for that?

Answer: It is fairly noisy but it only takes like 30 seconds.

Koios, can you direct me to food storage containers that are compatible with the accessory tube? it does not fit food saver canisters.

Do i have to buy certain bags or will any do?

Does this work with mylar bags? The thickness of the mylar bag is 9.5 mil

Can I use this with a roll or does it have to be bags?

Answer: You can use the roll bags also just cut it to length and seal one end and keep going.

This vacuum sealer works just about as well as a specific higher priced brand at half the cost and half the size. Consistent vacuum and sealing ability, easy to use. I really enjoyed the pulse option to control how little or how much air I wanted to draw before sealing. I often purchase 'family pack' sizes of meats and seafood and this allows me to breakdown those bulk purchases and freeze needed portion sizes with less worry of freezer burn by just using zip-lock style bags. Also amazing for sous vide preparation and making travel packs of snacks.

I use this for art/sculpture, not so much food. It comes with an extra gasket which is nice. Would be better if all the parts could fit into a kit (the cardboard box came ripped so is not useful).
