Do the hooks bend easily?

Answer: No, I have used them quite a bit. the hooks are really strong

What kind of fish is this bait suitable for?

Answer: The seller said it is suitable for fishing all kinds of fish. I have used it to catch bass, trout, Salmon.

Answer: I have caught pike during the cold months, and bass when it's warm, but any predator fish will hit it, this lure works great! Get the one with the long twirl tail they work the best in my opinion.

Does it really swim like a real fish in the water?

Answer: It looks very life like as long as its moving at the correct speed. To figure it out just drop it in some shallow water and watch it as you change the speed.

I like the colors and how vibrant they look. I wanted to buy more. Everything about it seemed perfect the only thing I did not like was that it was meant to be tied in front and not by the tail where a shrimp naturally moves. Nonetheless the product is nice and fast delivery and nice packaging.

These lures are well made. Each section is connect by a joint that gives it realistic movement in the water. It’s very jiggly when you handle them and it looks delicious. This would be a good lure to use for rockfish. Just tie them to a high low rig with a 2-3 feet leader. Then drop them directly down from the boat and jig. You’ll want to jerk it in short bursts to simulate the shrimp jumping. It looks great in water.

The product has great appearance. I have the minnows also, the texture of lures where soft n durable...... the only dislike is the hooks. I fish salt water and the hooks are already rusting and unappealing!!!!!!

Anyone reading this likely knows that a name brand lure costs as much as all eight of these. So naturally you see that and question the quality or think they must be junk. For 9 bucks though I was willing to take the chance and give them a try, and I'm not at all disappointed. You have to remember, fish won't scrutinize the details of these like we do. They bite out of reaction from either hunger or protecting territory and the fact is these lures work. Do they have the quality paint and materials found on a Rapala? No. But I don't care. They're cheap and catch fish and that's all that matters to me.

My son and I use Dark Sleepers often, but this was my daughter’s first time. Rather than trying a $9 lure we got these as “practice.”

We all caught fish, but my daughter caught a 3 lb largemouth and 8 lb lake trout on the perch pattern “knock off.” Is it better than a Dark Sleeper? I don’t know. But it did not perform any worse. And despite the teeth on that laker and hooking a few pickerel, the lure held up with minor cuts. Well worth the money.

I saw these and told myself to go ahead and try them. I gave one to a friend, who was the naysayer, and we both caught bass on these. He caught a 10 pounder on his second cast and mine was significantly smaller (don't ask, lol). But these actually work so give them a try!

I purchased these lures with the understanding that they were magical and would enable me to catch fish even when others were not. I believed that they would be so magical because they would look like a live fish to other fish in the water. Well I had been using inferior lures and bait and with no luck I decided to try one of my new lures. I was so very excited as none of my party had caught anything all morning. We were getting hungry and were fishing for lunch. I rigged up my line with the new lure and was eagerly awaiting my first bite when I cast my rod. Much to my surprise the lure, my weight, and my bobber took off flying towards the water as they disconnected from the line. I was horrified, apparently the lure is so lifelike it untied itself, the weight, and my bobber from the line and disappeared below the surface forever. Well, except for the bobber as they float and the waves brought it back to shore. I was hesitant to use another lure as they are a bit spendy for my budget so we packed up, headed back to camp and ate hotdogs. Perhaps next time I go fishing I will have the courage to try one again. However, when I do, I will make sure we have hotdogs on hand in case it decides to set itself free like the other one!
