Questions about PLUSINNO Fishing Lures for Bass 16pcs Spinner Lures with Portable Carry Bag,Bass Lures Trout Lures Hard Metal Spinner Baits Kit
Q:
Do the hooks bend easily?
Answer: They are strong but bend easy enough to brake free from a snag without losing it.
Answer: No the hooks are really strong I've used them a lot caught some big fish and haven't had any problems
Q:
Is the quality of the product as refined as online?
Answer: They are very decent quality for the money. But you need to run them faster to work well.
Answer: Yes.
Q:
Does this bait can be used to catch big fish? What's the size of the hook?
Answer: yes,i am not sure about the size, but i used on freshfishing
Q:
What's the weight on these?
Answer: they are from 2.7g to 12.7g
Q:
Is their lead in it and how do I get them with out it
Answer: They’re very simple to use, as they’re basically just a metal tube with a “spinner” blade on the end. As you drag the spinner across the body of water you’re fishing, the blade automatically spins. The vibrations and sounds of that spinning movement are easily picked up by fish in the area by their lateral line, and they then naturally swim closer to investigate – and bite.
Q:
are the colors painted on or are they stickers ?
Answer: Just checked them. They look painted on to me.
Answer: Not 100% sure, but I think painted. Vendor should confirm.
Q:
Are these lures made in China?
Q:
Is this lures good for big bass/catfish fishing?
Answer: Yes it would work for bass especially the spinners but not too sure about the catfish. I guess it depends on if it's sea catfish or river catfish, if sea catfish it may work.
Q:
Would this lure works good for salmon and bass at the lakes?
Answer: Don't think you can use treble hooks with salmon. I know for a fact they must be barbless. Most people use sardines with flashers or cookies. Call the local wildlife agency and make sure your within regulations. Don't want to get fined. These work great for bass.

Answer: Trout bass crappie
Q:
Can these be overnighted?
Answer: Not sure
Q:
what types of fish are good for this lure ?
Answer: I use them for rain bow as well as brown trouts, and the result are good, when the winter salmon run starts I will try them in rivers for that purpose. It is a good buy i like them the package keeps them clean and orderly, you might find out that to take them out you will need small pliers
Q:
Do u have to put worm (bait) on this hook?
Answer: Not required, but you can. Spinner lures attract the fish with the action of the lure. Make sure you have a swivel on your line or the lure will twist the line as you reel in.
Q:
Which ones work great for trout and catfish?
Answer: spinner lures with bag will great for trout and catfish, frog for bass
Q:
are they barbless?
Answer: No, they are barbed hooks
Q:

Answer: I have only used the lures in a lake and large river in a drift boat.
Answer: They're okay, lighter than I would like but they do good for the money paid.

Answer: 1/4 ounce.
Q:
how many lures in biggest package for 29.99?
Q:
What weight or these?
Q:
Are the hooks too big for panfish such as bluegill?
Answer: No the hooks are different sizes. And are not. To big for panfish
Answer: These will work for pan fish, ie bluegill. I use for trout.
Answer: No. This is why I wasn't crazy about this purchase. It was indicated they were for Pike and Bass, but they are really too small for those larger fish.
Answer: there are all different sizes, the small ones would be just fine
Answer: yes
Q:
How deep do they runn
Answer: They sink so it depends on how long you let them sit after you cast. The faster your retrieve the shallower they run, hope this helps.
Q:
Do the hooks of the fishing lures bend easily?
Q:
These reviews seem too good to be true. Are these really that good?
Answer: Yes they are seriously such good quality
Answer: Even the cheapest junky "spinner" or "rooster tail" style will catch fish. If you're not catching anything, the fish are most likely not in that spot or are just being exceptionally picky.
Product reviews of PLUSINNO Fishing Lures for Bass 16pcs Spinner Lures with Portable Carry Bag,Bass Lures Trout Lures Hard Metal Spinner Baits Kit
Brenda L. Blanchette : great lures
perfect
Stanley Tresch : Catch's Fish !
Haven't had an opportunity to try all the lures yet but have caught fish with all the ones I've tried ! Definitely a quality product and would tell it's a great product for all anglers !
Dave Xerion : Great set of Spinners & carry bag
This is a great set of Spinners with a variety of colors. The variety of spinners also range in weight. Works well, sturdy, and catches fish. Love the carry case for my hike and fish trips along with a Plusinno telescopic rod. The added plastic zip lock bag like pouch can be used as additional storage for terminal tackle for different situations.
J. Lisak : Action Packed Lures
Pros: This Plusinno 16 piece spinning lure set includes a carry bag and 16 very colorful and well designed lures. The lures have easy access eyes for tying line or attaching swivels and are comfortable to cast accurately to your target. The blades and other add-ons create really good vibration and sparkle, and allow the lures to glide through the water fluidly. The fish stay on the treble hooks for simple retrieval and release with fishing pliers.
Cons: The carry bag is convenient, but it’s fold causes it to close easily so be careful not to get hooked while fetching lures.
Safari Man : Nice little set of spinners
I have always been a fan of these types of spinners. I have used spinners all over the world and they catch fish. Most of the spinners in this set are in the style of the Mepps Spin, which has been around since the 1950s and is probably one of the most well known and successful spinner baits ever invented. The other lures in the box are in the style of the also very well known and very successful Worden's original Rooster Tail. Like the Mepps, the Rooster Tail spinner has been around since the 1950 and is a time tested design.
When I saw this kit, sporting several Mepps style spinners, including one that is a replica of the Original Mepps Spin, I knew I had to try it out. I took this box out to a the lake last week and tried them out. I wanted to see just how well they functioned. I have bought some cheap lures in the past that just did not function well in real use and was worried about these. But to my surprise, they functioned very well. Having casted the original Mepps and and Rooter Tails for over 40 years, I can say that these lures function as well as the originals. They are very well balanced and the spinners were very responsive to movement.
One of the things that sets the Mepps Spin apart from other spinner baits of this style, is the design of the blade and how it spins. The blades on most spinner baits rotate in canonical (cone) shape around the shaft of the lure. The blade on the Mepps spin, rotates almost straight out or perpendicular to the main shaft of the lure. The effect of this unique design is that the blade provides more resistance and spins faster. This means that you can retrieve the lure much slower then most other spinners while achieving a good fast spin rate from the blade. In situations where fish may not be very excited and hesitant to chase a fast moving spinner, the Mepps style can encourage these lazy fish to bite, because they provide lots of action at a slower velocity then other spinners. Also, because the lure is providing more resistance, it increase the line tension against the rod which gives you a better feels of the lure. This increases your ability to feel strikes when they happen. So, when I was testing these lures out I was paying special attention to the above factors and was very happy with how the lures functioned.
The one thing that was less then optimal about these lures was the treble hooks, which I found to be weaker then normal. While casting around the lake, I got snagged a couple times. I was using 6lb test monofilament line. When trying to free the lures from snags, the hooks bent out quite easily and I was able to bend them back into shape with only my fingers with not a lot of effort. I was glad to be able to get the lures back, but the ease with which the hooks bent out gave me some concern as to whether the same would happen if I hooked into a large fish. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to see if this would happen on the day I tested them as I did not hook into any large fish. Maybe on a future fishing trips I will hook into some larger fish and I will be able to report back at that time.
Bottom Line:
These are pretty nice lures that copy some historically great designs. You might only pick two or three spinners of these styles in the store for $10. You get 10 spinner lures and a box for about the same cost of a couple lures in the store. That is hard to beat. I wish the hooks were a little stronger, but it is nice to be able to get your lures back if they get snagged.
W. Rutherford : These are for BASS. Don't buy these for trout unless you're fishing the ocean, or great lakes
I searched for "trout spinners" and this was toward the top of the search. However, these hooks are massive! They are actually for bass and would only hook trout from the ocean, or great lakes ...MAYBE a record brown from a large river. Either way, I know ultimately it was my fault for not double checking, since companies like this are notorious for adding tags that are only partially true, so they can hope to dupe people like me who are in a hurry.
Jaffy : Good purchase for the price
They are good deal for the price. Due to summer heat, I could not catch any fish from banks. So cannot tell if the fish likes them. But the blade rotation was good. Just make sure you give a small jerk just when you begin to reel them in.
muralartist : Fishing
Very thinly built. It should be interesting to see how sturdy and reliable they really are when used for fishing. I just know I wouldn't want a too heavy or large fish on the line with how thinly built each one of these flies and hooks are upon holding them.
PhD Bookseller : Spinner doesn't spin!
I really wanted to like these lures, but they don't work properly (meaning they don't spin)! I gave one star for the handy carrying case and variety of spinners, but really, I'd rate it zero stars if that was based solely on performance. I've tried three of the lures and found that they don't spin consistently. I tried one of my old Panther Martin lures to make sure the problem was not related to my rod, reel, line, etc. and the old lure work perfectly, spins consistently every time. These lures are hit and miss. They will spin on one cast and then not spin on the following 3-4. Very disappointed to say the least. Will be returning for refund as soon as I submit this review.
Colton Bachman : Well organized but not much variability
The case in the inline spinners are very well made. The way they are stored Is well organized and they don't get tangled up inside the case. My only knock on them is that several of them have the exact same build being that the middle body is just a brass sinker with an attached bead and the only difference being that they have different colored blades. Some more variability in the body would have been nice. I'll be testing these later on in the year as far as whether or not they actually catch fish when I start trout fishing. But I don't see anything about their design or colors that leads me to believe that they wouldn't catch fish when there are fish to be caught
Micah : Very good lures
I got a set for my husband and he loved it!
So I decided to get a set for my dad as well and he loved them too. He said they are amazing lures. Both of them were very impressed. My husband said these are very good lures and he has been wanting some this good for a long time but couldn’t find them this good anywhere else.
Rachel : Perfect as a gift!
I got this as a gift for my father, he adored it and kept boasting to me about perfect it is for his fishing trip. So if your looking for a gift for a fisher, this is a perfect fit.
Aaron Corcoran : Trouts Loved It
I am a very novice fisherman and was headed out on a fishing trip with my 11 year old son. I bought this as a starter kit, not knowing what to expect. Even though I lost about 3-4 lures on the trip (I blame this to my lack of skill), we did catch some beautiful rainbow and brown trout with these.
Lures worked great and it was a great little carrying case that I could throw in the tackle box. I was pleased with the weight and performance.
Acytoh : Fantastic idea for spinner lure storage - perfect size and light weight
I love these fishing lures, it reminded me of Mepp's spinner! The bag that hold the lures feel solid, and at the corner of this bag has a carabiner for easy carry. Pretty fantastic idea of designing a bag that has foam padding inside to hook the treble hooks. (Should have thought of this before myself :P)
Satoe : Portable and Great for Beginners!
I fished in Alaska for three summers, but then I switched to city fishing in Boston and I had no idea what to use. After doing some research, spinners seemed like the way to go, but what color? what shape? what size? This gives you a really nice carrying case with 16 spinners, which is a great alternative to carrying around a tackle box on the train. The lures are all the same size, but different colors and shapes. They are sturdy and I've caught several perch in the Charles River! It's such a good bang for your buck.
EH : Reliable fish catchers.
These spinners are very solid. These are perfect for anyone who wants to reliably catch fish. Bluegill and bass are what I usually fish for here in my area and these are great for exactly that. The spinner action is good and the hooks are nice and sharp.
Dylan : Great action
Great weight for 7lb test line, blade spins very easily and doesnt require much speed to get moving. Solid sized hooks and lazer sharp. Im happy, the Black ones were tearing it up!
JP : Decent for the price
These will catch you fish. Spinners in my opinion rarely need to be spectacular, it's a very simple design and should not cost a fortune to buy.
These do the job, and of decent quality but not much more. My main concern is that the hooks could be a little sharper, but if you don't mind doing this manually after receiving them, they are OK and worth buying.
Pamela Rodríguez : Father-In-Law Loved It
My father-in-law likes to fish and thought that this might fancy him for Father's Day. Quick update it did. He quickly added some that he already had into the box for his next fishing trip.
Nicolas J Campbell : Trout love them!
I purchased these for my annual fishing trip to Arkansas to chase rainbows and browns. When I first got them, I was a bit disappointed with how they looked, but let me tell you right now the fish freaking love them. If you hit the white river, throw the red and gold. 70 fish in 2 1/2 days made it in the boat. I'd say 20-30 of those were from using these lures. The only down side is the hooks seem to rust quickly, but oh well.
The pack that came with the lures was wonderful for the travelling fisherman.
Safari Man : Nice little set of spinners

Rosita : Great product w many items
All you need in 1 little compact case at affordable price. A hit w my husband and grand child. Gast Fast shipping
WillPaul : Perfect gift for someone new to fishing
As someone who spends a lot of time on the water and has used hundreds of different fishing products, this is a surprisingly good assortment. You get a pretty solid little carrying case that comes packed with 20 spinners varying in color and size. Overall they are built well, not cheap like some other "kits" you can purchase for a similar price. They will cover a wide range of fishing situations and give you the ability to target several different species. I was very skeptical when first purchasing this but now that I have spent some time with it Im happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a gift for a fisherman, this is a great choice.
Brenda L. Blanchette : great lures
perfect
Reviews by Erica : Great quality for a great price.
My girlfriend and I love to go fishing. I saw this kit around Christmas and took a chance. It's amazing! So vibrant and all different. The case is also great. We can put more hooks and a small container. Ican't believe the price. Such quality for amazing price! It would have cost upwards of $40 at Bass pro shop or LL Bean.
Fishy Angler : Very good 20 piece spinner lure set for the money.
This review for 20 piece spinner lure set. I lost most of my small spinners fishing creeks and needed to buy some. This 20 piece set was a good find. Usually I get spinners from Walmart for $4-$5 each. This set is about $1 per lure, plus nice padded carry case to keep them organized. Usually inexpensive lures suffer from cheap, weak hooks. I was glad to see that the hooks are very decent and can be used as is. They are not premium quality, but mid tear decent hooks. I recommend this set for small bass or medium size trout.
Amazoning : Nice little Pouch of Spinners
Purchased these for my husband. Nice set. Love the zip up pouch to house all the little trinkets to help avoid sticking myself! Nice quality and will fit nicely in his tackle box. Vibrant colors and seem to be well made.
Scott Wells : Nice little spinning lure kit for the price
Nice little spinning lure kit for the price
For some reason I'm unable to add photos when leaving a review now, but I was able to take these lures out for a trial run today and they worked quite well. They're not spinnerbaits as most (or at least I) know that term--they almost seem like a hybrid fly/spinnerbait to me--but they each include a flashy spinning blade that attracts fish as it moves through the water. I caught several small (~1 lb) bass on them today--on a Plusinno telescoping rod and reel, no less--and I saw a number of other followers, both bass and various types of sunfish.
The weights vary quite a bit across the lures included in this offering. With the lighter ones I pegged a small weight to the line to add casting distance without messing with the lures motion in the water. The heavier ones--in particular the one that looks like a VERY small crankbait--provide solid casting distance by themselves.
As with other Plusinno lures--their lipless crankbaits in particular come to mind--the treble hooks on these lures are SHARP! That's great for getting fish. Unfortunately it's also great for getting your fingertips, your pants/shorts, etc. But that's the price you pay for sharp hooks.
Overall a nice addition to my tackle box. I'm going back out tomorrow to explore some new spots and will definitely continue playing with these to see what else they attract.
RexBeaver : Worked for me
Took these out on a local trout stream last week and was not disappointed. These are not Panther Martin quality lures but the trout didn't seem to care about the brand. No complaints with these - landed 3 sizable browns in my first hour fishing. The box that they come in is a little flimsy - the latch likes to come loose and needs to be bent back into place but thats not a big deal. For the price and quality these are well worth adding to your bag.
Reflexology4yourlife : 1/2 spinners wouldn't work
Great price, but, only 1/2 the spinners would work. Poor quality. Paint chipped quickly
Justin Marc Fennell-Shermenti : Beautiful lures
Great price for an awesome set of spinners. The case is really nice too its padded with foam making it easy to put hooks in and out.
Gnemok Yaj : AMAZING!!
THIS STUFF WORKS!! I am a believer!!! My first and 2nd cast literally got me my catch of the day! This particular spinner (the one pictured) has been great! I've used several of the other spinners and they seem to work perfectly fine. The only draw back is that they don't always spin, but who cares! YOU CAN STILL CATCH FISH!!
Donald Hecht : Plus for Plusinno
Having bought, used and enjoyed Plusinno’s great telescopic rod and reel, I was comfortable ordering this assortment of spinning lures. I wasn't disappointed when I zipped open the sturdy canvas case and found a great array of spinning lures of the Mepps and Rooster Tail type. There was a great variety of colors, patterns, tails, and worth easily worth more than $50.00; a perfect match for my Plusinno rod and reel combo.
Broadway : For the price it’s hard not to give them a shot
Well I didn’t want to write a review yet since I haven’t used them yet but I think they should get the job done. I’m very optimistic that they will
W. Rutherford : These are for BASS. Don't buy these for trout unless you're fishing the ocean, or great lakes

A. Jackson : Good product
Great set for the value. Hooks are sharp and product is just like pictured. Nice case that comes with it. It's winter right now so haven't had chance to use yet. Excited to use come spring
Jeff Arnold : Surprisingly good lures!
These are a great bang for the buck! Usually spinners like this will run you $4 - $5 each. I caught bass on my 3rd cast with these. Panfish love them too. I will be buying again.
jessenia melendez : He Catch trout !
I got these rooster tail fishing lures for my dad. he was interested in some spinners for trout fishing.
Susan : Quality products
My grandson picked it out and he loves everything about it!
Boy mom : Loved it
Great product for an affordable price!
R. Weiss : Mayan Cichlids cannot resist!
I was skeptical about this at first but figured based on the good reviews it was cheap enough to give a try to. I have only used the blue one but I can't believe how many fish I have caught with this! I am fishing in fresh waster in South Florida and it seems that Mayan cichlids cannot resist this. I have also caught some smallish large mouth bass as well but probably 8 Mayans for each bass. I haven't tried the other's yet, because, quite frankly, I haven't had a reason to but I think that this set is an incredible value and I would highly recommend if you're fishing in fresh water to give it a try.
EH : Reliable fish catchers.
These spinners are very solid. These are perfect for anyone who wants to reliably catch fish. Bluegill and bass are what I usually fish for here in my area and these are great for exactly that. The spinner action is good and the hooks are nice and sharp.
Jenny Jo : Nice but zipper gets stuck
The lures are nice, however the zipper gets stuck really bad . I got them for my girlfriend for her birthday and she was very excited when she opened it. I don’t know much about fishing but according to her they’re nice to have
Partman : they actually spin
Have tried a few of these - they spin reliably unlike many other cheap spinner blades. However once bent the spin can be lost and they do bend easier than rooster tails, etc. A little hard to pull out of the attractive carrying pack - sometime used pliers. A good value for the money, will likely restock when needed..

I picked these lures up after losing a lot of my spinners this spring. I do a lot of perch and trout fishing and end up losing 2-3 per outing on snags. I was spending $2-$4 on individual spinners and figured this would be a good buy. I am very pleased with the variety and colors included. I took them out perch fishing on a local lake, I only caught one for the day but it was on one of these lures. I think the quality is very good for the price point and the included pouch has been more useful than I expected. At about $1 each, this is a great buy.
Kara Micke : Amazing products. Must have!
They are very well made. The case is nice and heavy duty. Seems to be an awesome product. I will be checking out more of the stuff this company makes. The only problem is the case is a little stiff and hard to gold open. Other then that perfect! Beautiful colors.
Reflexology4yourlife : 1/2 spinners wouldn't work
Great price, but, only 1/2 the spinners would work. Poor quality. Paint chipped quickly
Jalisco33 : Can't beat the price for the quality!
I'm always sceptical when purchasing inexpensive fishing tackle because it's usually junk. I do it though because my kids love to come fishing with me and I can't afford to replace my favorite lures when they get them caught in trees or break them off on a rock. So, when I bought these spinner baits my plan was to let my kids use them but when we went out to the lake they were catching left and right. Bass, Blue Gill, Sun fish just about everything was biting these lures. These lures were tuff, I use braided line for the kids so I can yank my lures out of trees or grass and sometimes have to replace the hooks that get damaged. But with these Plusinno spinner baits I pulled a couple off of a log and to my surprise the hooks were not damaged. I've decided to buy another set just for me.
Sunflower : Awesome, sharp and high, high quality!
You won't be disappointed. The case and lures are of the highest quality with a budget price compared to what you will pay for the big names. I have had amazing hits and some fish on the line. It's not the spinners ... its my knots with my fat fingers. I will keep buying because these guys are great and don't break the bank.
andres martell : Value for the price
These are built with decent quality. The hook, spinner, shaft, and swivel are all fairly robust. I just used these this past weekend at Lake Arrowhead in california and caught a nice 21inch trout with it.
